"Kunming-Lijiang-Dali-Stone Forest I planned to fly from Kunming, with the last stop at Stone Forest. I booked it casually, and it was quite nice—small and charming. We drove from Dali, and it rained, so it took over five hours to arrive. The navigation was accurate, and we were very close to the main square in Wukeshu Village. We encountered the Torch Festival that evening, and it was quite lively with many people, but then it started to rain heavily, so we just came back for bed. The courtyard is very charming, and you can see the owner's care. There are plants grown in front and back, and the fruit is edible, which the children loved. The owner gave the child a cherry tomato and a pear that grew out of a rock. The child was very satisfied. The room we stayed in had a staircase and had everything you could expect. It's considered a relatively mature B&B. It was clean, but because it was small, there was no way to separate the wet and dry areas. The soundproofing wasn't very good. I was quite cozy at night with the sound of rain, but I could clearly hear people parking and talking in the middle of the night. Being in the village, it was very convenient for eating and shopping. The beef noodles recommended by the shopkeeper are also delicious and cheap, with a high overall cost-effectiveness."

"We wanted to visit the Stone Forest, but we didn't want to stay in a drab hotel at the entrance to the site. So we booked a room in this house, in a village a 5-minute drive from the site. And we were right! The house is full of plants, the room was comfortable and cute, and the owners offered us food and tea several times even though it wasn't included in the price. Very pleasant. There's no washing machine. The village is charming, with restaurants and shops in a central square where the locals gather."

"The hotel's location is excellent. You can take a bus directly from Shilin West High-Speed Rail Station and get off at the stop right across from the hotel, then it's about a 5-minute walk. The hotel is also not far from the Shilin Scenic Area, roughly 300-500 meters away. However, the rooms are just average. Although the attic room has a window, it's blocked by a wall, so there's no view. The soundproofing is also very poor; I could clearly hear conversations from the room downstairs."

The view was not so good but it was convenient for a family to live in. The bathroom was very clean and the three plush toys were also clean. You can safely play with your children. There is a small picture book, the master bedroom has air conditioning, but the small bedroom does not, and the quilt is small and thin. Fortunately, there is a blanket, otherwise it will be cold in winter. The master bedroom has a window, but the small bedroom has a window but it cannot be opened, which means there is no window. The toilet seat in the bathroom is broken. Yes, it's wobbly for fear of falling down. The water volume is large and the temperature is suitable for showering. It's very comfortable. Maybe it's because our room is the only one occupied in the building we live in, so the water volume doesn't affect it. In addition, it's a long walk to Shihai Hot Spring. If it's too late, Wearing a bathrobe in the cold will make you feel cold. You can try to ask the hotel to arrange a battery car. If you don’t want to drive a few kilometers away for meals, you can only eat at the hotel’s on-site restaurant. There is no other choice. The supermarket is also a long way away, so it is best to bring the necessary items when you stay in the hotel. I brought everything else with me and there is nothing wrong with me. I will choose this place again next time I go to the hot springs."

"The room facilities were outdated and the cleanliness was poor. There were only two usable electrical outlets in the entire room, one behind the TV and one near the bed. The TV only had eight channels, and the picture was blurry. Worst of all, there was no heating; the central air conditioning was useless. The room temperature was only around 10 degrees Celsius, and we had to wear thick clothes to sleep at night. The hotel claimed that too many people used the air conditioning. I booked the room because reviews said the breakfast was plentiful, but it was incredibly disappointing. There were only a few dishes, and the hot dishes were practically cold. The cold dishes were just pickled vegetables and kimchi, and the watermelon was spoiled and sour. Overall, a terrible experience."

There were two large, boat-like pairs of plastic slippers in the shower; I don't know if the hotel didn't provide them or if the cleaning staff simply didn't replenish them, but empty boxes were also placed there.
