Shilin Hotels with Parking

This was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend. Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!! They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator. We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon. When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊 We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did. Thank you from Sarah, Myriam and Fabio.

The B&B, which I didn’t really have any expectations for, really gave me a big surprise! The boss is an elegant person at first glance. There are flowers everywhere on the corridor. There is a small garden on the roof, and there is also a reading place. If my time is not limited, I might just spend some time looking at the flowers and reading. The B&B is right next to Ashima Square. I thought it would be noisy, but the music stopped playing in the square after ten o'clock in the evening. Maybe it is because the glass sound insulation effect is good, and there is almost no noise at night. There is a food court next to it, so the problem of eating during the Chinese New Year is solved. The free rock sugar oranges are delicious, a caring boss! The possibility of traveling here again in the future is very low, but if friends come here, I will definitely recommend it to them.

The front desk staff were unhelpful. They didn't mention anything about what was available for viewing in the room, only giving brief answers to questions. They wouldn't tell us where breakfast was, what attractions were available, or what the medicine museum was like – all were just responses to questions. If we hadn't asked, we wouldn't have known anything about the attractions. They didn't even look up when answering questions. The hotel facilities were old; the floors were shaky, the cabins were wooden, and the noise level was extremely high with very poor soundproofing. People with sleep problems should be cautious. The pool was large and filled quickly, with a water temperature of around 48 degrees Celsius. There were a few things worth praising: the cleaning lady brought fruit and bread, the service was excellent, much better than the young receptionist; the room was large, the bed was large, the cups were the right thickness, and there was an electric blanket. Best of all, the toilet had a toilet seat cover, which was very thoughtful. The hotel's disposable toiletries were also relatively environmentally friendly; shampoo and shower gel were refillable. The room was very clean, with no stains, and the bottled water was also environmentally friendly. It was very quiet; waking up to birdsong and watching the sunrise was very pleasant. The breakfast was just average. I would come again if I had the chance.

The service attitude of the hotel front desk staff is very good. The room is very spacious and has an unobstructed view. You can see the panoramic view of the stone forest. The light is very good and you can make tea. It is very comfortable to stay. It is worth recommending.

Location was good in that it was around a lot of shops and stores. Front desk people were helpful in answering any questions that I had. I felt like I didn't have much access to the kitchen in cooking my own stuff. Sometimes I was confused about whether it was okay to eat the food that the chef cooked or those meals were only for guest that paid for it. I appreciate the front desk people for loaning out their phone charger to me on a temporary basis when mine didn't work until I can get a new one.

For foreign tourists who want to visit the Karst Stone scenic areas, ie Stone Forest, the hotel is just a short walk down the road. Breakfast is buffet style and good. Meals can also be purchased. Locationwise necessitates the use of a vehicle to get to the hotel. Trip.com needs to update the hotel's name on its site. The Hotel's name is not Shilinxuan Holiday Inn. The name or names on the signage is Sloane Place and Holiday Inn Bosheng Shilin.

The boss is very nice, the transportation is convenient, and the service is enthusiastic. I will stay here again next time

The hygiene is impeccable, and the separation of dry and wet areas is quite good. The environment is also good and quite unique. There is almost no service. I wanted to check the screen projection at night but it wouldn't open for a long time. When I contacted my boss on Ctrip, the message was read but not replied. The shower instructions are unclear. It says hot on the left and cold on the right, but actually you have to turn it clockwise 20 degrees to get hot water. The room looks high-end at first glance, with large windows and a wide view, but in reality it is disappointing. When we arrived at the hotel at night, there was no bus stop nearby, so we could only take a taxi or ride a shared bike, which was generally inconvenient. If you are going to Shilin Scenic Area, I don't recommend staying here, but the horse meat downstairs is delicious, which is a plus for this place.

The hotel has complete accommodation facilities, clean and hygienic. There is a market in the surrounding environment, which is convenient and lively. The front desk service is enthusiastic. There is an underground parking lot. The breakfast is varied. There is a restaurant on the 3rd floor, which tastes good. It is convenient to eat and stay in the hotel. The scenery outside the window is good and the price-performance ratio is high.

A nice simple hotel for anyone who is looking for a cheap and convenient place to stay. The place is somewhat away from the main road and the nights are really quiet, you can even hear the crickets! The check-in was fast and smooth and the lady at the reception professional and very friendly. The breakfast costs 15¥ and you can eat as much as you want.
