The location is good, it's close enough to the airport that it's walkable or it'll be around 50 pesos in a tricycle (expect to pay a bit more with the white tax).
There is a mall nearby Robinson's with a good supermarket. Also some good coffeeshops if you need to work.
Be sure to bring cash as even places like McDonald's often have issues with card machines
There is a nice beach on the East Coast (photos here) as well as the Church of Immaculate Conception which is nice to see while in town.

Very cozy, new, clean hotel! It would be more correct to say a guest house - the owner lives nearby, in his own house. Accordingly, you receive family care!!! If you wish, they will prepare delicious, home-made food for you. Personally, this is where I tried several traditional Filipino dishes for the first time - delicious! In general, only positive impressions! The main road is 700 meters away, in principle not a problem at all. By the way, you can book different tours directly from the hotel. Definitely recommend!!!

RRUMAANAHWe wanted to experience the beauty of nature and be close to the underground river tour so we booked this place. This place is absolutely beautiful and everything here is organic. The breakfast is served on time in your villa and everything is freshly harvested and cooked for you. If you want peace, tranquility and the sound of nature then this is the perfect place for you and your loved ones. This place is 1.5 hours away from the airport but 7 minutes away from the underground river tour. It was well worth our stay and we will be back. The staff was absolutely helpful and did everything they could to accommodate us as our check in time was 2am. Thank you Sheridan Organic Farm

GGuest UserNice hotel, we lived in a separate house. The house is spacious, with a terrace and plenty of space in the bathroom. Reasonable price and breakfast included. Pleasant hotel administration. There is a swimming pool, which is very cool. A little away from the main road

MMichelle n PaulWhat a great little find, tucked away from the noise of the traffic of Puerto Princesa but still close to the main road, we found The Golden Pension, what we loved about it was:
- Clean room
- Clean sheets and towels
- Hot water
- Quiet
- Secured compound
- Friendly owners
- Good TV
- Fantastic air conditioner
And most of all, value for money and the owner dropped us of at the Airport which is only a 10 drive away .

The location is moderately good - the central embankment is about 15 minutes on foot, no more.
The nearest large supermarket is no more than 10 minutes away.
There are low-rise buildings around.
Our house itself is 3-storey, for 1-2 guests, I don’t know about the 3rd floor.
New house.
Freshly renovated.
The room has tiles on the floor, air conditioner (windowed, but new and not particularly noisy), LCD TV, refrigerator!!, kitchen surface, sink, dishes, kettle.
In the shower - everything is as it should be, a toilet and hot water. Another table/chair.
There are a couple of benches in the yard to hang out if it's not hot. It is possible to buy cold beer/water.
The bed is great. Lots of pillows. It’s quiet outside the window, there are roosters, but they didn’t crow at night.
This is the fifth hotel on this trip to the Philippines in the same price category and it is the best so far.
I recommend it, I'm ready to stay there again.

AAdamBilgyBetween the main bus station and the airport in a quiet area, and only a 100 peso ride from the airport. A 20 minute walk from a large shopping mall. The whole place is very clean and nice, with comfortable sun beds by a large clean swimming pool. Room is comfortable and clean, with good aircon and linens. Shower pretty powerful. Excellent WiFi. Outside areas with small Gym, bar and food area. This place doesn't accept credit cards, wants a 2000 peso cash deposit and you can't check into your room a minute before the 2pm deadline. Also no check out flexibility, or use of the pool after check out which they will charge for. Room fridge full of expensive drinks, but there is a shop a 2 minute walk away where you can buy soft drinks and use the room fridge to keep them cool. Breakfast is adequate and basic, but good value in terms of the overall price. Overall very good value and i would highly recommend.

GGuest UserIt will cost you to get there by tricycle from the passenger terminal. Maybe because we are from El Nido, everything will be knocked out. We were surprised at just 3000php, single room with double bed, spacious bed and bathroom, free WiFi, free drinks and nice pool, although a bit cold. Breakfast was included but we had halal food. Staff were super friendly and attentive. All the basic amenities at the hotel include a kettle, tea, coffee, mineral water, shower gel and shampoo.

AAillen LPension can easily be located since it is just along the road; a 5-minute drive to Cathedral and 7-10 minutes from Pasalubong Center to Orange P and it’s only 100php for 1 tricycle. They had a hard time finding my reservation since Traveloka is a subsidiary of Expedia. We had the Standard room with BF and we were informed that their standard is a bunk bed, but they offered the queen bed with shared bathroom (just beside our room). It was clean and sweet-scented room. What I love about was their big mirror at the lobby. Wi-Fi is slow as expected. Plated breakfast as shown in the picture. They have soap and tissue but no shampoo, so better bring one. Staff were friendly. This pension is highly recommended for those who want to stay on a budget yet classy place and near to airport, pasalubong center, cathedral and bajao.

BBhrandonThe room looks very old, the mattresses are foam, the plugs generate little confidence, the truth is that for the little you pay you could say that it is normal, don't expect much.
The bathroom is another world, the toilet bowl does not have a base to sit on, so it is very unhygienic when using it, either that or urinate and do your business without touching the bowl.
The shower does not have much pressure, so if you are going to take a shower it is better to use the faucet under the shower and fill a bucket and bathe with the bucket of water.
The door to the women's bathroom is broken from below, so it can cause a bit of insecurity, although I honestly don't think people will care much.
