The room was clean, but the floor was still some hairs were not clean, but it did not affect the quality of the stay. The sound insulation was not bad. In addition to the sound outside the door, there was basically no one outside the door, so the impact was not big. The breakfast was delicious.

In my opinion, Parkview Hotel is one of the nicest hotel for families in Hualien. The deluxe family room we booked has 2 queen beds and very spacious. The breakfast buffet is nice, with a good collection of traditional ********* congee breakfast and international selection such as omelette station, salad, etc. There is a dedicated indoor haven for children with all sorts of games from go cart, different kinds of video games, etc. There's indoor pool, gym, pool table, etc for adults. There's also a coin operated laundry machine and dryer.

I just met cleaning when I went out, and I peeked at each actual room type. Overall, each space is enough and comfortable. Make an environmentally friendly hotel, but the same general hotel will organize it every day to promote passengers to reduce waste. The cleanliness is very good, and the hot water is enough to relax in an instant. Breakfast buffet, food is not bad, many halal food.

I accidentally found this affordable homestay on trip. I originally only stayed in the mood of sleeping at night. I didn't expect to live in such a happy place. Especially the soft bedding was super comfortable to sleep, and I didn't want to get up.
The only inconvenience is that it is located in the city but does not have its own parking lot, and you have to go outside to find a parking grid (the boss said it is basically easy to find).

The location is great. It's very convenient to go everywhere. It's close to Zhongzheng Road. It's very convenient to eat, take a walk and buy famous products.
The counter service is very enthusiastic. If we need extra pillows, they will be provided quickly. If we have any problems with the order, we will be patient to help.
There are many places to sit in the lobby, and free coffee is provided. You can have afternoon tea leisurely and bring your own snacks.
Breakfast is also good, including porridge, bread and vegetarian food
The booking price is affordable, there is a good breakfast and service, and the room is large enough and clean. It is very suitable for us who have a limited budget and want to take a vacation.

Service was courteous at the front desk. They were very kind to give me a room before 3pm knowing that I had traveled more than 17 hours and really need to rest. Restaurant service was very slow. They were short of staff. No one was around to take my bill. Food was average. Really liked their cold dish with lotus root and red bean. Dinner buffet was very pricey. Couldn’t quite justify $30 per person. I was disappointed when I went back for the breakfast buffet. They served the same cold dishes and fruits from the previous night. Felt like we were eating leftovers. I picked this hotel because of their outdoor pool. It’s an outdoor 25 meter pool. It was lovely swimming laps and enjoyed the ocean view.

Location Located in the heart of beautiful Hualien and very close to night market as well (like 2 mins walk). Hotel provide free transportation to hualien airport but not to railway station. Hotel. Hotel was very cheap at the time of booking so I wasn’t expecting anything special however I was surprised by the quality of the service they provided. Rooms were great and they do have elevator.Room had electric kettle, coffee powder, bottled water and all the toiletries. Breakfast was great. Staff speak English which was helpful. Overall I am very happy with this hotel and will definitely stay here if I visit hualien again.

KkohKengLocation- near to Hualien station about 5-8mins walk. U won’t miss the hotel as it is painted a bright yellow. You can spot it from far!
Food- Complimentary ice cream, coffee and juices are avail 24hrs. Snacks - crackers, tea jelly are avail from 3-8pm. Breakfast and supper are complimentary. Now this is really unexpected. Breakfast consists of meat, vegs, eggs. Chinese, western and veg options. Supper is lighter eg porridge rice curry potato and eggs vegs. Cocktail is avail and yes, complimentary too. Also fruits.
Service- I was at first skeptical. To name a Hotel kindness will imply the hotel embraces the kindness value. True to its name, staff are polite and kind and goes out to help guests. U don’t need a password to log into wifi, I haven’t been to a hotel with complimentary breakfast and supper. I was suprised that the hotel is painted bright yellow and I realise it helps guests to locate the hotel as all other buildings are all grey and black and the yellow really lights up the area. I find it a thoughtful gesture.
Room- Room is big. They gave me two queen size bed for three pax. There is also a bathtub. Amenities are provided. Oh yes, complimentary laundry service with washing powder provider. Now isn’t this thoughtful and kind and really take care of the guests esp those traveling with kids. Water refill is available at each floor next to the lift.
Would definitely stay in the hotel if I go to Hualien again and yes, would love to stay in kindness hotel in different parts of Taipei too!

AAnonymous UserFabulous stay. Love the quiet, serene ambience although there are sounds of dogs and animals which is common in nature. The host, Mr Zhang is so warm and helpful that we felt treated like old friends coming for a visit. There is a dog and many cats in the house but non threatening. They make themselves scarce, somehow if guests are afraid of them.
As the BnB is up on the mountain, it’s easier to get around if there a car. The host goes out of his way to help and provide advice on where to go and how to get there. Perfect host!
The only room with twin beds is the family room for four. The other room is spacious to with king or queen beds.
A good place for a retreat.

GGuest UserVery clean, shower and toilet inside and outside the room. Bed are big enough and comfortable. Breakfast is provided! Toast, ham, cheese and various spreads. The crowd is very different from any hostel I stayed before, many middle age people and even kids!! So might not be the perfect place for you if you want to make friends. Everyone I talked to, from the staff to the guest was extremely nice!
At the reception you can get information to visit the taroko gorge.

LLin YuLocation - Hotel was a bit far from the train station (as expected) but also a short walk to nearby bus stations (not expected) about 7-10 mins depending on which bus you took to get to the bus/train station.
Room - There are three separate buildings you can live in. I was in building 3 and my room looked a little old. The air con wasn't working, I had to turn it off because the heat button didn't work at all. The bathroom tub/shower area had some mold spots but otherwise it was clean. Bedding and linens were soft and clean. Lightening was very bad, basically only 4 tiny overhead lights and 1 desk lamp.
Amenities - mini fridge was handy, so was the kettle.
Service - staff was nice and helpful at checkin / checkout.
Overall I'm surprised it's a Ramada. I don't think I would stay again but for the price it is acceptable for a night.

WWayneHXLWe got upgraded to a bigger quad room with windows for free, which was very nice.
Room: The room space may be small if you have many luggages, but there's no complaining at this price range because it's a steal! You can save some space if you bring your luggage to your bedside. An electricity outlet can be found on every bed, which is unquestionably very convenient. Cups, teabags, hairdryer, and slippers are provided.
Bathroom: The bathroom is clean, and it is a private bathroom inside the room (not shared bathroom outside the room!). Towels, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided as well.
Public area: There is a public area (like a kitchen) and an outdoor sitting area on the ground floor where you can make your own coffee or milk tea (which are provided there). Water dispenser can also be found there. There's a friendly (wild) cat too!
Service: The staff was friendly and helpful.
Luggage storage: If you're looking to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, your luggage will just be stored on the corridor beside the counter with no safety other than ”name labels”.
Safety: Password will be required for entry into the inn after certain time at night.
Location: The inn is located close to the bus station, but some walking may be needed (which won't take long unless you carry big luggages). Convenience stores and some restaurants can be found within walking distance from the inn.

1. This time I stayed in a deluxe sea view suite on the 8th floor with a separate bathtub facing the sea. Unfortunately, the weather was bad.
2. There is a sauna on the 8th floor, which is small and exquisite.
3. Personally, I think the bed is a bit soft, but I can sleep well.
4. There are no supplies in the room, but they are provided free of charge at the counter on the first floor (but there are basic shower gel/shampoo/hand soap)
5. There are water dispensers on each floor and you need to use them by yourself.
6. The room TV and mobile phone can directly cast the screen
Driving distance:
1. About 10 minutes from Hualien Railway Station
2. About 7 minutes from Dongdaemun Night Market
3. About 12 minutes from Qixingtan

The hotel is not in a busy area, there is no convenience store (FamilyMart vending machine) downstairs, and there are only a few small restaurants nearby.
The advantage is that it is quiet at night, but the disadvantage is that you need to have transportation when going out.

@@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
