Inns in Kinmen

Our 1st trip to Kinmen, so happy that we picked this place to stay. The B&B is only a bit more than a year old. Nicely decorated. Modern. The hostess helped us arrange the scooter rental and taxi/tour driver, better price than book direct. The room is spacious, the bed is huge (M3), the location is mins walk to restaurants and attractions in town. Definitely would recommend this place.

The room is much larger than expected. It also has a double bed, a sofa and a kitchen (but I haven’t used it yet so I don’t know if it is useful). The only small problem is that there is noise in the room. Research results show that the wall is next to the elevator and there is noise coming up and down. No wonder it is recommended to put earplugs in the room. Travelers with sleep disorders can ask at the front desk for a room with no noise. Others are OK. The service attitude is friendly and the breakfast is simple but different than some B&Bs that offer walk-in breakfast or a minimalist breakfast wall.

Located right behind the Kinjo Bus Terminal, you can reach it in just a 1-minute walk. Only stairs, but not too painful. The hostess explained it carefully. A warm air heater was also prepared for the cold at night. There is also a delicious Guangdong porridge shop where you can walk in 5 minutes. I think it is a good location near the convenience store.

The constant temperature detector flashes red once every 20 seconds. The screen displaying the temperature on the air conditioner is too bright. Guests should be provided with a thick cardboard cover that they can cover with thick paper or thick sticky notes. The small refrigerator motor is also quite loud when running, which will affect guests' sleep. Thank you!

20231116-17 When checking in, the kind lady at the front desk told me that the sink is at the door of the bathroom, which is equivalent to being in the room. As soon as you enter the door, there is a luggage rack next to it. It means that as long as you wash your face and hands, the water will splash out and hit the luggage rack, so The suitcase should be placed next to the bed or window, which is somewhat inconvenient in the movement of use. The bathroom equipment is a bit old. The wet and dry separation cloth is made of plastic cloth. There are traces of old mold all around. There is also some bad smell. Be careful when taking a shower. The shower head may accidentally spray into the toilet. Paper, even though there is an iron plate to protect the toilet paper, it will still spray. I am also concerned about the design of the toilet seat, because the toilet seat is smaller than the toilet seat. Sitting on the toilet seat will still touch the toilet bowl. It feels like the wrong size cover is installed😅. When using the hair dryer, sparks exploded and the hair dryer also emitted black smoke. I was so frightened that I called the front desk and informed the front desk. The lady was very nervous about whether we were injured and quickly found another hair dryer for us, but she did not ask to change rooms. Suggestion, we were too frightened at the moment, and we didn’t ask to change rooms. When sleeping in the middle of the night, there were constant sounds of children playing, and the sound insulation effect was not very good. It was only at breakfast the next day that I discovered that a group of primary school students were visiting, and it would only get busier in the middle of the night. The breakfast service staff are all older mothers. They are very quick and neat, and they clean up very cleanly. The food is all cooked food, which is relatively ordinary, but the focus is on simple style. The coffee is the kind that has been brewed in a pot, which is not. So rich. The location of the hotel is really convenient. There are many restaurants to choose from within walking distance. The nearby Junhui BBQ is very good! The staff in the store are also very kind and friendly, and the business is very good. You don’t have to wait too long after ordering, and the meal is ready. I recommend this yakiniku shop. The overall feeling of Jinrui is that the first floor looks pretty good and has been carefully designed. Unfortunately, the equipment in the room is too old. The room still uses old-style keys. The accessories on the key ring are very distinctive, such as leather bracelets. It is very special to use iron products to mark the room number. The ladies at the front desk were very kind. The lady who checked out the next day also helped us call a taxi to the airport. The service was very good. I hope the person in charge of the store can improve the hardware equipment so that tourists can have a better housing experience.

It is very close to Cihu Lake and the Golden Gate Bridge. You can come to Cihu Lake to watch seabirds in the morning, and then explore Lieyu Township from the Golden Gate Bridge. The room is not big but has everything you need, and the housekeeper is very responsible Knowing that we were not locals and worried that it would be difficult for us to find food, they specially treated us to McDonald’s to fully demonstrate the enthusiasm of Kinmen people. Although this trip encountered rainy days and many attractions and special snacks were not open during the ***** New Year, seeing the New Year fireworks show jointly put on by Xiamen and Kinmen made everything worthwhile.

Its location, price and helpful staff were the plus points. Suitable for old tourists travelling in groups, but let down by families with out of control children, and some middle aged men who like to argue aloud in the early hours (beyond the resistance of my ear plugs anyway)! The breakfast was bland, and monotonous, the room furnishings old and not always working, and running out of provisions (i.e. hotel slippers albeit they are too small for US / European sizes).

This time I took the elders out and stayed in the beautiful environment of Jinsha Lake, but the room was not ideal. The original room type and photo were too different. I reacted with the counter and helped us upgrade the room type! The service is quite enthusiastic. Because it is located in a remote location, pay for us to pick up and drop off, help us book a lunch, free pick-up, you can add points!

It is easier to cross the bend when driving to the hotel. The overall environment can be. The price/performance ratio is quite good. If possible, it will be better and more safe to add lights at the intersection.

Check-in confirmation is delayed and cannot be confirmed. All the certificates are given. The order number of Trip is different from the hotel. I have been checking back and forth. I know that the hotel counter is hard and I know that it is your responsibility, but the order number is that the hotel has not communicated with Trip. It is not a consumer problem. I'm helpless too
