"Simple and quite old interior. Location is about 5 - 6km from the city center, shuttle and airport pick-up are available. The staff is quite friendly, only I was disappointed with the PIC receptionist, I ordered take away breakfast because I was picked up in the morning by the tour for a 1 day trip, it turned out it was not provided. So on the day, I had to wait again. For the shuttle to the airport, it was also combined with guests with a 13.30 flight, asked to wait past the time I reserved, even though my flight was at 12 noon. The variety & quality of breakfast is very lacking for a 5 star hotel."

"I was in Labuan Bajo for business and Laprima was ideal. Within walking distance yet just far enough out of town to feel secluded, with spacious rooms that have an excellent sunset view (I had the ninth floor rooms facing the bay and islands). We rented a boat to explore the islands and used the very convenient jetty at Laprima.
Breakfast buffet was average but the omelet from the egg stand was excellent. The coffee at the buffet was not too my taste so I ordered a cappuccino for Rp. 30.0000, Les than two USD for a decent cappuccino!
Will definitely come again."

"Seemingly the grandest hotel, or at least the tallest, near the main tourist street and harbor (10-15min walk). Great views from the breakfast level and the pool. Air con was excellent and Wifi was generally strong, except for a couple hours of blackout one day. Strong service and clean rooms, although a bit cramped. Breakfast starts at 6am, although the food options are just average. The supermarket in the basement was convenient, although prices need to be labeled better. One main area for improvement was the shower: the drains were slow and the mounted head barely worked, making me have to use the hose only. But, overall, a solid experience in L.Bajo."

"Value hotel stays for two days and we booked 3 rooms, breakfast come with local selection which we really like the banana steamed roll very much.
The walks at the private beach is fun and morning or evening walks gives different vibe.

"I absolutely recommend this hotel as a base for anyone who wants to explore the beauty of Labuan Bajo.
1. The location is just excellent. It's just a short drive from the airport. The hotel offers complimentary airport transfer, which is very convenient for the guests as Labuan Bajo has no online cab hailing. It's also a short walk from the port where all the boats depart and arrive.
2. The view is unbeatable.
3. The buffet breakfast is really good. They have cook-to-order nasi goreng. The bread and pastries are delicious. They even offer fresh mixed juice prepared on the spot.
4. The service is topnotch. They give complimentary cake and cookies every evening. There are free beverages in the mini fridge. They even give free 15-minute foot massage for one person for each room.
For improvement, I suggest the hotel provide a towel rack in the balcony or at least clothes line in the bathroom, as after the water activities, there's nowhere to hang our wet clothes."

"We stayed at Sudamala Resort after our 3D2N open trip around Komodo Island to relax and recharge. We booked a room with an indoor swimming pool, and it was absolutely remarkable spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. We also tried the massage at the hotel, which was excellent and helped us unwind even more. What impressed me the most, however, was the exceptional service from one of the staff members, Huberth. "Local Collection Hotel is a place to enjoy the sunset with an Instagram-able spot 😍 other than that, I would say I'm delighted with the request that I wanted, which is a welcoming note of Happy Anniversary. Based on the food, during the evening, I ordered a pizza margarita, and it was so delicious! For breakfast, all the buffet items tasted good.

EElla JamaliI arrived on schedule, but due to high occupancy, my room wasn’t immediately ready. However, the team more than made up for it by offering a complimentary lunch which was absolutely delicious. While waiting, I took the opportunity to explore the hotel grounds, and I was truly impressed by how thoughtfully designed and serene everything felt.
The hospitality throughout my stay was nothing short of amazing. My only regret was staying just one night especially after experiencing the incredible breakfast spread the next morning. From authentic Indonesian and Asian dishes to Western favourites and an impressive selection of pastries, there was something for every palate.
I also appreciated how family and kid-friendly the hotel is, while still maintaining a sense of privacy and calm. It never felt overcrowded, which made the experience all the more relaxing. I especially loved how the sunbeds were perfectly positioned to catch the sun ideal for that perfect holiday tan!
The variety of activities available was great too, offering just the right balance between relaxation and recreation.
A heartfelt thank you to Novi and the entire team for making my stay so memorable. Your warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism truly stood out. I’m beyond grateful for the support and care I received throughout my visit.
I’ll definitely be back next time with my family in tow! Wishing your resort continued success you all truly deserve it.

Staff are super friendly and lovely.
Just be prepared that service can be a bit slow at breakfast. Coffee and eggs sometimes need several reminders. Some staff English is not so good but they try hard. So pls be patient and understanding
I needed medical attention ( luckily not serious) but a call in doctor and medication took several hours. The hotel was very apologetic and tried their best to help. Overall Labuan Bajo is a slow service town so expect to be just chill and take things easy.
Overall enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much and would highly recommend it.

GGuest UserThe hotel offers a range of services (hotel transfer, via speedboat, snorkeling in their exclusive coral reef, etc. ) and the staff is very welcoming, making travelers feel special guests.
The island is perfect for relaxation, allowing guests to connect with other guests if they want, as the number of rooms/bungalows is limited. The beach and coral reef are immaculate and very safe from dangerous currents allowing close approach with colorful fish, sea turtles and other tropical marine creatures.
Facilities are well maintained and the limited wifi (mostly accessible from the restaurant area) means that you can stay isolated from the external world and connect to it only when you want to.
Price is very reasonable for the excellence of the service provided. Ideal for couples or single travellers looking for tranquility.

DDaisyArielThe room is clean and good for a nights rest. The restaurant overlooking the sea was heavenly. Food is good. Location is fantastic with lots of shops nearby. There is also a supermarket opp to stock up before we got on a boat. The only weird thing is the toilet lock is from the outside.
No lift only stairs. They assisted us with our luggages.

They organised a free airport pick up which was really handy and a great perk. Staff are really lovely and helpful. The outdoor space is lovely and the pool is also great. It could do with having someone clean it each morning to collect everything that falls from the trees but otherwise it was still a great facility. Our room was very quirky in its decoration but it was comfortable, clean and had hot water. They also have bag storage at reception which was very useful. Breakfast was a small buffet and was good. Good for a night or 2 before a boat trip to Komodo!

JJay Jay ThompsonThe hotel is dated but that in itself isn’t such a problem. The setting is nice , garden and pool is pretty. The beach is cleaner than Bali but still plenty of rubbish. The rooms are large and bed is comfortable. I booked for 4 nights but stayed only one as the air conditioning was insufficient to cool the room to a sleeping temperature. Staff were great and as helpful as they could be but the air conditioning needs replacing asap.

While the distance might inconvenience some, that was exactly what we were looking for.
As mentioned in the other comments, the hotel isn’t the easiest to get to as you have to go down a little goat path if you come in from the top of the mountain.
Definitely recommend getting the shuttle offered by the hotel to pick you up from the airport as our taxi driver had a hard time finding it haha.
Super friendly staff, ready to help no matter the issue, even carried our (and in my case very heavy) suitcases down the path.
Food is average but prepared with care. Electricity and (hot) water is limited and internet is only available in the main area from 6-9pm but they extended that time for us as we were the only people there at that time.
Cute little beach in front of the hotel though there is a lot of trash (not the hotel’s fault- visible across all the islands)

The rooms and the entire property were very clean and well-maintained — everything looked neat and pleasant. The water in the shower was always running well, and there was consistently hot water, which is especially appreciated after a long day.
A special thanks to the staff: kind, smiling, and always ready to help — you can really feel that they care. We were especially impressed that they prepared breakfast earlier than usual for us because of our early tours — a small gesture, but it says a lot about their attention to guests.
At night, it was quiet and peaceful, nothing disturbed our sleep, and the room had a cozy atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and green, clearly well looked after. We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to our friends. Truly well done!

GGuest UserSimple room yet the design was updated. Quite satisfied. I like the bed and the pillow the most. Sooooo comfortable and immersed during my sleep. The hotel near to the roadside and the staff also update us with the noisy from the bar. But it was not a big deal. Not so noisy and surprisingly we able to sleep well. Maybe because of the bed n pillow as I mentioned. Even it was a budget hotel but for me its up to the high quality of the premium hotel. It suits to those who wanted for a short stay or to save their budget. Plus point abt the accessible location. Near to Marina Harbour as well as nearby cafe,foods or drinks.
