"This hotel is super photogenic! It's very close to the airport, I'd say about a 10-15 minute drive. The hotel is located on a hill, offering fantastic views of the sea, islands, and scattered fishing boats in the bay from the pool and restaurant. We had dinner at the hotel, but unfortunately, they were out of lobster the whole time, even though it was on the menu. The hotel was very nice and allowed us to extend our check-out by an hour. Our flight wasn't until after 5 PM, so we wanted to squeeze in a spa treatment, but the spa didn't open until 4 PM. I didn't give the room cleanliness 5 stars because the disposable slippers weren't sealed in plastic bags."

"It was a wonderful three days in a beautiful place! A heavenly spot for a romantic getaway on Flores! There's a beautiful reef nearby, and the restaurant spoiled us with delicious dinners and breakfasts every day! The staff is very attentive and caring! The grounds are well-maintained, the villas are comfortable, and blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings! We didn't want to leave! We'll miss you and hope to come back again!"

The location is so 20 minutes far from the city center and there’s no Taxi or Grab available in that area. "Let me jot down my thoughts on this unforgettable hotel, Katamaran. We initially wanted to book Ayana, but it was full, so we settled for Katamaran as a second choice – and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! First, the location. It's only a few minutes' drive from Ayana and shares the same beautiful ocean views. Plus, this hotel has fewer rooms but more spacious layouts, and all rooms face the sea directly. Now, onto the food. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but everything tastes delicious. I especially loved the cliffside restaurant; enjoying amazing food while watching the sunset over the sea was pure bliss. The hotel also offers many activities like kayaking, yoga, snorkeling, and sunset trekking (though they all come with a fee). The best part is that if you want to go island hopping, you can book the hotel's speedboat directly, departing from their private pier, which is incredibly convenient [strong]. I've collected my fill of sea breezes and sunsets. Can't wait to visit again! [celebrate]"

"The hotel is slightly away from main centre . The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. The rooms are lacking sockets near the bed so if you need to charge phones or else it’s a problem. However, after asking they supplied me with an extension (not pretty but worked ) The pool is lovely and has an amazing view at sunset . The pool has an area which is set up as a pool side bar but unfortunately not set up. There was building work being done which I was warned when booking but didn’t expect them still making noise after 8pm. Breakfast starts at 6 but not total inand items added slowly. I had to take first shuttle bus to airport at 7 and until 645 no eggs or non Indonesian dishes. Shuttle bus driver to airport was also late 10 minutes but luckily airport is close . All said , again the staff were extremely courteous and very apologetic for delays etc. but it’s a shame as hotel has great potential and could do a lot better"

"A beautiful, very quiet, small complex with a breathtaking view of the sea and the sunrise. Unfortunately, I was only there for one night, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's located quite far from the city, and the last stretch of road is bumpy, but it wasn't a problem for me with Grab and a taxi. Everything was very clean, and the staff were friendly. The toilet seat in my bathroom was broken, and the water pressure in the shower was rather weak. However, this didn't bother me at all, considering the fantastic room with its huge balcony! My breakfast was also delicious. I would love to come back."

"Facilities: Well-equipped and worth the price. Cleanliness: Spotless, no need to worry much. Environment: The Komodo 'ceiling' (meaning top-tier/best you can get), no need to compare; it's outstanding even in the off-season. Service: Warm and friendly, always responsive, communication was smooth. Although the food was mostly 'white people food' (Western cuisine), the quality was very good, and the flavors (both salty and mild) could still satisfy a Chinese palate. Wishing the hotel great business and many more 'fish' (guests)!"

"Harbourmaster Suite with a beautiful terrace offering panoramic views of Labuan Bajo Bay. The room is large and comfortable, with an entrance hall and a very large bathroom with an outdoor shower. The hotel also has a swimming pool with sun loungers. Breakfast can be ordered in your room, including a fruit platter, pancakes, and local coffee. Cappuccino is an additional cost. Breakfast could be improved. Overall, it was a wonderful stay."

"This is a nice resort hotel, and the pool is close to the beach. However, it's a bit far from town, so there aren't many restaurants or shops nearby. The hotel restaurant is decent, nothing exceptional. The service is excellent; they even helped pack breakfast for early morning excursions. A special shout-out to the incredibly responsible staff. I had arranged an airport transfer for the next day with the front desk, but I was so exhausted the night before that I completely overslept. Luckily, a staff member kept knocking on my door to wake me up and even helped coordinate with the driver to wait. Otherwise, I would have definitely missed my flight! I gave him a tip to show my gratitude."

"They'll ask if you need a taxi as soon as you arrive, then try to rip you off. All they care about is making money off Chinese people. And what about their attitude towards Chinese people? The swimming pool is full of green sediment; it was cleaned once, but it's still there."

"THIS IS THE PLACE! Conveniently located, clean hotel with extremely attentive staff. This is one of the few places where i did not feel the need to keep my sandals to take a shower. Bathroom was visibly well cleaned, as well as floors and bedding. Room is stocked with the standard 2 water bottles. Unlike many other hotels, this one has an elevator. Friendly staff are always waiting at the 24-hour front desk and just outside the lobby to help with anything. Pretty well insulated from outside noise despite being on the main street. Only minor issue is air conditioner is positioned a distance from the bed but we resolved that by closing the bathroom door to minimize loss of air flow. Would absolutely stay here again."

"LB it is a rapidly growing town, and unfortunately, that means pollution, traffic, noise, and a trash issue. However, this little hotel is a gem. Just a few minutes ride out of town, it is sparkling clean and set in a lovely garden. The beach is cleaned every day so you don’t have to deal with piles of trash, and the staff are amazingly sweet. It’s also one of the most sustainably focused places we have found on this trip. A ride to town or the airport costs about five US dollars, and the restaurant on site is also a good dinner option. We stayed here before and after our live-aboard and we’re very pleased."
