Komodo Hotels with Pools

I booked a deluxe sea view room and was given a corner sea view room with a fantastic view. The room facilities were standard, but the sea view was absolutely stunning. I joined the hotel's snorkeling activity, which was quite fun. There was also a private island snorkeling trip, but I didn't have enough time to go. I heard there are more fish and a chance to see sea turtles there. Service was just okay. I waited quite a while during check-in, and my luggage didn't arrive in my room for a long time, so I had to go to the front desk to get it myself. I hope they can improve on this point. Overall, it was very good and suitable for a vacation 🏖️

Nanti kalau ada rezeki datang labuan bajo lagi, memang akan repeat stay sini. Cuma kekurangan dia, jauh sikit dari bandar so susah nak cari makan. Kalau sewa motor pastu nak keluar makan malam, macam seram sikit la sbb jalan mmg gelap. Takde lampu jalan. Kitorang datang masa musim hujan jadi habis basah kuyup naik motor 🤣Hotel ni ada je restaurant sendiri, cuma makanan macam biasa2 je tak sedap sangat. Tu je la kena improve kot. What a fantastic place to stay. We are currently at the Katamaran hotel and it is not as good as the Sudemala hotel. Buffet breakfast was amazing every day, pool bar was awesome. Beach access and sunset views are perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Our original plan was to stay at this hotel, but an unexpected storm caused our boat to be cancelled, preventing us from reaching the island on time. While we were anxious, the hotel's customer service proactively reached out to us. Not only did they express sincere concern, but they also surprisingly arranged complimentary accommodation for us at a partner hotel on the main island until the weather improved and ferry services resumed. Even though we couldn't check in as planned, their handling and service throughout the process were exemplary. They consistently communicated patiently, actively coordinated, and did their best to alleviate our inconvenience and anxiety. This genuine customer-centric approach left a far deeper impression than a smooth check-in ever could. Although the weather left us with a slight regret, it also allowed us to personally experience the hotel's unexpected level of responsibility and attentiveness. This crisis management capability and sincerity alone are enough to make us confident in their service quality. We will definitely find another opportunity to experience the hotel's charms firsthand next time!

My overall stay at the Crowne Plaza Labuan Bajo was excellent! The hotel is new, clean, and well-maintained with complete facilities. The room was very comfortable and cozy. The staff were warm and friendly. Both the room service and overall service were top-notch. The airport transfer was smooth and hassle-free, making getting around very convenient. The only minor drawback was that the hotel restaurant's food was just okay, nothing particularly special. Later, I tried some local trendy restaurants, but after eating there, my stomach wasn't feeling great. It made me realize that the hotel's dining was actually cleaner and felt much safer to eat. One suggestion: Ctrip bookings couldn't be synced with the official IHG app, which made it inconvenient for international guests to contact the hotel in advance, and the third-party replies were quite slow. After landing, the shuttle service wasn't clearly explained, so I ended up walking to the hotel. Overall, the hotel is modern, clean, reliable, and hassle-free. It's highly recommended for short trips, and I would definitely prioritize staying here again for future short getaways. For a longer, relaxing beach vacation, I might reconsider the location. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it!

Amazing resort, placed in a peaceful place without any noise, only the sound of birds and the monkeys that play and eat in the fruits tree. The staffs is very kind and friendly, ready to satisfy every your needs. Beautiful the restaurant that cook yummy dishes every day for lunch and dinner. Various and generous the breakfast. The room, I took Mountain View with private pool is simply amazing. All forniture are new and the room is wide and in a great position.

This is my second time staying here. It's a great place to relax between activities. It's close to the airport, and you can walk to the main street with bars in about 20 minutes. Yet, you feel like you're in a secluded spot with a beach and a pool. The staff and rooms are all excellent. The buffet breakfasts are delicious. The only thing I didn't like was the laundry service. My friends and I sent our clothes for washing, but all the stains remained – they were just refreshed. And the cost was quite high for that.

A really nice little hotel in Labuan Bajo. A bit out of the way of the town centre (10 minute drive or hofur walk), but Grab bikes are inexpensive and readily available. They organised a free airport pick up which was really handy and a great perk. Staff are really lovely and helpful. The outdoor space is lovely and the pool is also great. It could do with having someone clean it each morning to collect everything that falls from the trees but otherwise it was still a great facility. Our room was very quirky in its decoration but it was comfortable, clean and had hot water. They also have bag storage at reception which was very useful. Breakfast was a small buffet and was good. Good for a night or 2 before a boat trip to Komodo!

Pros: 1. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and provided excellent service. 2. There's a private snorkeling area, which was a great experience, especially since we didn't book a liveaboard. Cons: 1. No internet, no internet, no internet! Apart from a few rooms on the hilltop, most rooms have extremely poor mobile signal (you can barely receive messages). WiFi is only available at the front desk. The management's excuse is that they ”don't want external noise to disturb guests,” but it's one thing if I have it and choose not to use it, and quite another if I need it and it's not available. If you need to stay consistently connected, this hotel is definitely not for you. 2. Prices are quite high. Since it's on a private island, a slight markup is understandable, but sometimes the prices are ridiculously high. For example, the hotel organized a beach buffet for 700k Indonesian Rupiah, which is about 300+ RMB after tax. The seafood options were only grilled shrimp, squid, and fish (the first two were served very slowly), and the only meat was grilled chicken skewers. In contrast, on the main island, we bought two large lobsters, two mantis shrimp as thick as a woman's arm, and even got two free squids, all for just over 700 RMB.

Overall, this is a unique and memorable accommodation with a beautiful view, a cozy room, and genuinely friendly staff. One of the standout features is the private outdoor bathroom, which makes for a special experience—showering under the open sky and even catching a glimpse of the stars. The laundry service was also convenient and added to the overall comfort of the stay. There are a few practical considerations to keep in mind. The final stretch of road leading to the guesthouse is in poor condition; while it wasn’t an issue for me, it could be challenging for those who are not confident riding a scooter. Additionally, the nearby mosque broadcasts prayers late at night and early in the morning (around 4:45 am), which can be quite loud and may disrupt sleep if you’re sensitive to noise. I would recommend this place for travelers who appreciate unique stays and don’t mind the outdoor bathroom setup, the rough access road, or the early morning and nighttime noise.
