Komodo Hotels with Pools

This resort is nestled in the mountains, a bit far from the city center, but you can easily get a Grab motorbike. If you're staying here, I'd recommend eating at the resort (the food is actually quite good). I really want to highlight the environment! It's incredibly comfortable and perfect for a relaxing, 'lie-flat' vacation! ☺️ And the staff's service attitude is super good, friendly, and enthusiastic ❤️ The drinks in the mini-fridge are all complimentary, too. I chose a suite with a balcony, which was perfect for just sitting, zoning out, enjoying the breeze, and taking in the scenery. The pool is also very clean! This has been my favorite place so far during my entire trip in Indonesia. One thing to note might be that because it's in the mountains, you might encounter some bugs, and sometimes the tap water can be a bit yellow. Other than that, it's pretty much perfect!

This hotel wasn’t the most expensive one I’ve booked, yet it delivered the best experience by far. Perched on a cliff, it is fully equipped with complete facilities and surrounded by stunning scenery. The hotel’s bougainvillea blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. You can witness four distinct breathtaking views throughout the day — morning, noon, afternoon and sunset, with the sunset being exceptionally gorgeous and perfect for photos. The hotel staff are incredibly warm; they are the most thoughtful and friendly service workers I encountered during my entire trip across Indonesia. All the hotel restaurants serve fantastic food. The main restaurant offers Asian, Italian and even Chinese cuisine, which suits the taste of our Chinese family perfectly. The Kiks Seafood Restaurant in the evening stands out especially, serving the most delicious grilled seafood I have ever tasted. Compared with Ayana in Bali, the service here is superior. The staff are more welcoming and always wear smiles, making me feel right at home. There are never too many guests, so it never feels crowded. Whether you are dining, relaxing on a lounge chair, playing in the swimming pool, wandering along wooden boardwalks, joining sunset tours or enjoying sea activities, everything feels comfortable, free and laid-back the entire time. This is what a real vacation ought to be like. I don’t even need to travel elsewhere; spending five or six days staying inside this hotel would be absolutely perfect. The hotel also provides a full range of recreational activities. We only stayed for two days and left wishing we could stay longer. The housekeeping staff folded adorable monkey and animal shapes out of towels for us. Without a doubt, this is the most wonderful hotel I have ever stayed in, and the only one I’m eager to revisit. A Beautiful Stay with Amazing Sunset Views 🌅 I had a really pleasant stay at Loccal Collection Hotel, Labuan Bajo. The hotel has a beautiful Santorini-inspired design, with white buildings built along the hillside and stunning views overlooking the harbour. The highlight for me was definitely the sunset view from the pool area. It is one of those places where you can simply sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery after a day exploring Labuan Bajo and Komodo National Park. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, while the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast also had a good variety of choices. The location is convenient for exploring Labuan Bajo, although the hotel is situated slightly uphill, so getting around is easier by scooter or car. Overall, Loccal Collection is a great choice if you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing and Instagram-worthy hotel with spectacular views. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended for a stay in Labuan Bajo!

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the pier. Contrary to some rumors, there was no excessive motor noise in the morning or air pollution. The environment was comfortable; although the room was a bit small, it was very clean. Overall, the service was good with daily cleaning, though the staff seemed a bit short-handed during check-in and check-out times. The breakfast was plentiful, offering a buffet along with freshly made coffee and stir-fried noodles. The hotel also provides a free airport shuttle, which was punctual and convenient. Highly recommended!

An absolutely unforgettable getaway! What a special place this resort is! We spent 5 wonderful nights at Sudamala Seraya and can’t wait to return. It’s truly a little piece of paradise for a relaxing stay. The team at the resort is wonderful and looks after the guests very well. 1. The hotel environment is superb, with a picturesque pool facing the sapphire blue sea – a great place for swimming and enjoying the view. 2. The room is spacious with large windows, directly overlooking the beautiful pool. Lying in bed and admiring the scenery is incredibly refreshing. 3. Breakfast is plentiful, and the setting is pleasant. 4. My biggest thanks go to all the hotel staff. When they learned I had been stung by a sea urchin, they all met to enthusiastically help, providing vinegar, salt, hot water, and a basin, allowing me to get timely treatment. Thank you again!

The sheets had stains, but the service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. It's right next to a popular ice cream shop and offers great value for money. Plus, it's directly opposite the boat tours, so you can just wait at the hotel to board.

Overall, this is a unique and memorable accommodation with a beautiful view, a cozy room, and genuinely friendly staff. One of the standout features is the private outdoor bathroom, which makes for a special experience—showering under the open sky and even catching a glimpse of the stars. The laundry service was also convenient and added to the overall comfort of the stay. There are a few practical considerations to keep in mind. The final stretch of road leading to the guesthouse is in poor condition; while it wasn’t an issue for me, it could be challenging for those who are not confident riding a scooter. Additionally, the nearby mosque broadcasts prayers late at night and early in the morning (around 4:45 am), which can be quite loud and may disrupt sleep if you’re sensitive to noise. I would recommend this place for travelers who appreciate unique stays and don’t mind the outdoor bathroom setup, the rough access road, or the early morning and nighttime noise.

An excellent hotel where everything is thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay. The rooms and the entire property were very clean and well-maintained — everything looked neat and pleasant. The water in the shower was always running well, and there was consistently hot water, which is especially appreciated after a long day. A special thanks to the staff: kind, smiling, and always ready to help — you can really feel that they care. We were especially impressed that they prepared breakfast earlier than usual for us because of our early tours — a small gesture, but it says a lot about their attention to guests. At night, it was quiet and peaceful, nothing disturbed our sleep, and the room had a cozy atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and green, clearly well looked after. We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to our friends. Truly well done!
