"Let me jot down my thoughts on this unforgettable hotel, Katamaran. We initially wanted to book Ayana, but it was full, so we settled for Katamaran as a second choice – and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! First, the location. It's only a few minutes' drive from Ayana and shares the same beautiful ocean views. Plus, this hotel has fewer rooms but more spacious layouts, and all rooms face the sea directly. Now, onto the food. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but everything tastes delicious. I especially loved the cliffside restaurant; enjoying amazing food while watching the sunset over the sea was pure bliss. The hotel also offers many activities like kayaking, yoga, snorkeling, and sunset trekking (though they all come with a fee). The best part is that if you want to go island hopping, you can book the hotel's speedboat directly, departing from their private pier, which is incredibly convenient [strong]. I've collected my fill of sea breezes and sunsets. Can't wait to visit again! [celebrate]"

"I really regret not discovering this hotel sooner! The hotel has a very quiet, Southeast Asian vibe. The service is also much better than hotels near the main tourist street. They offer yoga classes, morning Zumba on the beach, and even a diving club. I stayed at three different hotels in Labuan Bajo, and if I come back, this will be my top choice. The only thing to watch out for is mosquitoes in the room, but the front desk will provide mosquito coils if you ask."

"This hotel wasn’t the most expensive one I’ve booked, yet it delivered the best experience by far. Perched on a cliff, it is fully equipped with complete facilities and surrounded by stunning scenery. The hotel’s bougainvillea blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. You can witness four distinct breathtaking views throughout the day — morning, noon, afternoon and sunset, with the sunset being exceptionally gorgeous and perfect for photos. The hotel staff are incredibly warm; they are the most thoughtful and friendly service workers I encountered during my entire trip across Indonesia. All the hotel restaurants serve fantastic food. The main restaurant offers Asian, Italian and even Chinese cuisine, which suits the taste of our Chinese family perfectly. The Kiks Seafood Restaurant in the evening stands out especially, serving the most delicious grilled seafood I have ever tasted. Compared with Ayana in Bali, the service here is superior. The staff are more welcoming and always wear smiles, making me feel right at home. There are never too many guests, so it never feels crowded. Whether you are dining, relaxing on a lounge chair, playing in the swimming pool, wandering along wooden boardwalks, joining sunset tours or enjoying sea activities, everything feels comfortable, free and laid-back the entire time. This is what a real vacation ought to be like. I don’t even need to travel elsewhere; spending five or six days staying inside this hotel would be absolutely perfect. The hotel also provides a full range of recreational activities. We only stayed for two days and left wishing we could stay longer. The housekeeping staff folded adorable monkey and animal shapes out of towels for us. Without a doubt, this is the most wonderful hotel I have ever stayed in, and the only one I’m eager to revisit. "Great hotel location with spectacular view of the harbour and boats each morning during the breakfast and stunning sunset views. Really worth it just for the views alone. Room wise is nice but had minor issues like no kettle and non working deposit box. Would have been expected these amenities to be there before checking in. Also the provision of small shower and shampoo bottles makes it not efficient and have to keep requesting for extra bottles. Nothing major but something for the management to take note off. The breakfast had enough variety and some nice local cuisine which is enjoyable. Walkable to harbour and most of the shops at the town center"

"First off, I want to say that the hotel staff and front desk were all incredibly friendly and helpful. A big shout-out to their breakfast take-away service, which is a lifesaver for anyone planning a day trip out to sea! If you know you won't have time for breakfast, you can arrange the take-away service with the front desk in advance. The hotel's breakfast runs from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, but most day tours to sea leave around 6 AM. I've attached the take-away menu for reference. The hotel itself is very new and super close to the airport, about a 10-minute walk. They also offer airport shuttle service, but remember to email them in advance to book your pick-up. Just a heads-up, avoid emailing on weekends – I did, and the hotel missed my email, so I ended up dragging my heavy suitcase to the hotel, which was a real drag. Also, the rooms don't have openable windows; they have sealed glass floor-to-ceiling windows. This means no smoking in the room, and ventilation isn't the best. Since it's a new hotel, there's still a slight 'new hotel smell,' so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to that. However, since I was usually out at sea all day and only in the room at night, I wasn't really 'holed up' in the hotel, so it was perfectly acceptable. I was just happy that everything was new and clean, haha!"

"I highly recommend this hotel. I think it's the best hotel on Komodo Island. They offer free airport shuttle service. On the day of our arrival, my child probably drank a glass of unclean orange juice and vomited and had diarrhea all over the sofa that night. The hotel picked us up and took us to the hospital early the next morning. When we returned, it was past breakfast time, but after we mentioned it to the staff, they brought breakfast directly to our room. The hotel didn't charge us any extra for any of this, not even a cleaning fee. I can only say that for a room rate of just over 2,000 yuan, we received hotel service worth over 5,000 yuan. The service is even better than the Ritz-Carlton Retreat in Bali. You can go for it without hesitation. Also, the food at that restaurant was pretty good. Although some people complained about the price, honestly, I've never seen cheap food at a five-star hotel. Isn't it all about convenience and comfort? I ordered lamb chops and fish, and both were delicious, especially the lamb chops – they were fantastic and suited to Chinese tastes! The bill came to about 500 RMB, which I think is acceptable. Also, I strongly advise everyone to buy bottled water. Some hotels provide bottled water, while others provide glass bottles. Try to drink less of the glass bottles, and definitely avoid water with ice – who knows what kind of water those ice cubes are made of? "This is quiet resort situates half an the rock half on the beach with a pier extending into the sea. When you are shown into the resort, you feel you are entering a well designed tropical garden. Our room is facing the beach and the swimming pool. The room is very big and clean with a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. The resorts provides butler service and takes good care of all your needs. It also gives two room cleaning and tyding up service every day，one in a daytime one before sleeping. The breakfast and afternoon tea are also Impressive. The fish and lobster are also very fresh and tasty. It is a great experience to stay here."

"An absolutely unforgettable getaway! What a special place this resort is! We spent 5 wonderful nights at Sudamala Seraya and can’t wait to return.
