"Excellent service in pre-check-in phone call and during check-in at desk. Friendly staff, clean room with lovely toiletries but no coffee option and milk in fridge had been opened and not replaced. Lovely balcony, fast lifts but the location is a bit out of the way of transport and services."

"Service at the reception was great. They were very helpful. Location is ok. It's a 5-8min walk to the free tram and there are shops and supermarket nearby. Our 2 bed oom apartment was spacious and pretty clean. Our only gripe is that it was hard to adjust the water temperature and the flow was weak."

"The hotel is beyond my expectation. Location is superb, just within few minute walk to Southern Cross Station, which is super comfy for transit. The staff was very nice and friendly. I checked in quite late at night and the receptionist kindly helped me carry my heavy luggages upstairs. Room is spacious and well-furnished. There are also a microwave & a small fridge with plates and forks available in the room. Bathroom is also well-equipped and tidy. I'm very satisfied with Travelodge and will definitely come back once travelling in Melbourne."

"Location is very good because it is just next to a stop on the free tram system. There are shops and supermarkets nearby and some restaurants. You can also easily walk to the CBD, river and Southern Cross Station. It is relatively large and has plenty of amenities. The only negative was that the soft chairs are covered in highly visible greasy food and drinks stains. They should either use a faux leather or something or throws that can be washed. Also there seemed to be a huge excess of bedding which got tangled and uncomfortable. A simple duvet, sheet and two pillows would be better in my opinion. But otherwise, all good!"

"Lights are not working, and we asked for another room, when we’re going in to the room, the lock on the door just dropped 🙃
In the morning the fire alarm started ringing, no broadcast and no any staff knowing what happened.
According to the lady who helped us check in, told us that they were short of staff, and maybe that’s why we asked for slippers for two nights in a row on their rooms service website, they never delivered to us🙃"

"The environment and location are very good, the facilities in the house are also complete, and the space is sufficient. The cleanliness of the house needs to be improved, the floor is dusty, and the bathtub is not clean and has stains. Shopping in the apartment is very convenient. There is a supermarket just two blocks away. I will consider this place again next time I travel. It feels like living at home."

"I’m really pleased with the service provided by the GSA working late night on 20/05. She was quick with our check in and saved the evening by providing us the charging cord which I couldn’t purchase anywhere nearby. Please extend my thanks to her.
I loved the room that was given to us , beautiful view of the bridge and the wheel, the room was spotless and I specially love the amenities from O&M for body care.
The hotel itself is less than a minute from the light rail so very convenient for commute.
Just a few observations:
I couldn’t check out with the GSA which is not a big deal in itself but I couldn’t return the charging chord to the receptionist myself because no body was at the desk when I came down to check out apart from a few airline crew. Since I was in the hurry I dropped the key in express check out box and handed the chord to the airline crew to pass it onto the GSA.
Me and my partner also felt that the room’s AC did not cool to our satisfaction , we did call reception to use their central control to manually lower it but we didn’t feel any difference. AC made it slightly challenging to sleep as we preferred.
Overall; wonderful. Me and my partner definitely will be returning ."

"The one-bedroom apartment I originally booked was upgraded to a three-bedroom apartment (actually a two-bedroom and one-studio) without any notice. The original one-bedroom was very cheap. The kitchen is a rare gas stove in an Australian hotel apartment, which is convenient for cooking. The swimming pool is small, but there is a 25 meter walkway, and there is a spa, sauna, and the night view of the Yarra River is also beautiful, which is really good value. The traffic is normal. It is close to the Southern Cross Station, but it is far from Federation Square, which means that it is not close to Chinatown and the main shopping area. It is close to the office area, which is suitable for business trips. The only pity is that its front office is beside a turntable, and there is no place to park for free around it. The only parking spaces that can be seen are also for the police. In this way, after you drive out of the garage, returning the keys is a very crazy thing. I don't know if anyone else solved it. I parked the car on the turntable, rushed in, threw the key and ran. . . . . . Too embarrassing. Check-in also has this problem, because its garage requires a key to go in. It can't be like other hotels. Stop in and then go out to check in. But if you do n’t check in, you do n’t have the key. . . ."

However, the front desk is not in the same place as the apartment and needs to be found, so it is best to know some English. I stayed in Melbourne for several days. After staying in a modern hotel for a few days, I wanted to experience the flavor of an old hotel with a sense of history. I originally wanted to book a Windsor hotel, but found that it was not convenient because it was east of the CBD. City Walk accidentally discovered this old Victorian building opposite the Southern Cross Railway Station. I placed an order in advance. I passed by the lobby the first night and asked the administrator if I could store my luggage in advance and then check in that night. The answer was no problem. , and also asked carefully about the specific requirements. It was past nine o'clock when we returned from the Great Ocean Road that day. I received a warm reception. After checking in, I wanted to pick up my luggage, only to find that help had already been sent to the room in advance. The extra bed had been laid, and there were handwritten welcome cards and candies on the table. .
The house itself is an old-fashioned apartment that is rented on a long-term basis. Each floor is an L-shaped corridor, with a total floor height of six floors. The room we booked was a loft-style suite with a kitchenette and living room. The overall facility decoration is relatively old, but very clean and tidy. There is a swimming pool, restaurant and small library on the ground floor.
I personally feel that the price is reasonable and the transportation is convenient. It is suitable for those who want to experience the old-fashioned style and do not have particularly high requirements for accommodation conditions.

祺祺褀The location of the apartment is very good, it is close to the free light rail of public transportation, and there is a large supermarket nearby, and it is a sea view room. It has convenient living, convenient transportation, beautiful environment, and complete facilities in the apartment. , Pots, pans, cups and more. The only problem is that I haven't arrived in the apartment yet, and haven't checked in yet. The credit card authorization deposit was inexplicably deducted AUD 500. This really surprised me. Fortunately, after arriving at the apartment, the front desk informed that there would be no problem when checking out and it would be refunded.

DDaphneHad a fantastic time at Docklands Marriott! Location was great, the room was lovely and the welcome drink on arrival was a nice touch 😊 staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooftop pool was relaxing and beautiful. Tho it had a fair bit of people, it didn't bother us as everyone just kept to their own spot. It has lots of eateries around, Woolies, Chemist and free tram stop are all right across from the hotel. Will definitely come back and recommend!

GGuest UserThree bedrooms and two bathrooms, with balcony, kitchen (with oven, microwave, large refrigerator) and washer and dryer; it has a lot of space. We stayed for a total of 6 nights. There was no room cleaning. We had to take out the trash ourselves. Room cleaning service will only be provided if we stay for more than 7 nights.
The overall feeling is very good. This area is very quiet, but it is also in the cable car free zone in the city, so you don’t have to worry about transportation when going to the city for dining.
