"Hotel man is great, he speaks very good English and is super friendly and kind. Transportation by car was arranged to and from the train station as well as for heading up the hill at 6am to the Jinshanling great wall park entrance to catch sunrise from the Great Wall at the top. It is possible to just walk up to the gate instead, it just takes longer to walk the 2 km to the ticket checking gate, and there is then still some maybe 15 mins of walking uphill before getting to the top. Photos show the view from my room, the menu of the hotel restaurant, dinner (尖椒豆片炒肉), and breakfast (fried rice and soup)."

"Le jingshanling great wall hotel est parfaitement placé, juste à côté de l’entrée du parc d’accès à la grande muraille. Nous y étions en hiver et en semaine, hôtel était quasi vide, le personnel nombreux était très serviable. Personne ne parlait anglais, mais avec les applications de traduction nous avons toujours réussi à nous faire comprendre.
L’hôtel ressemble à un lodge de grand parc américain avec un grand espace commun dans un bâtiment principal et tout autour des bâtiments de logements.
Les chambres sont confortables.
Nous avons fait un très bon dîner au restaurant le soir.
Le matin, notre petit déjeuner a été servi à table car nous étions seuls. Petit déjeuner traditionnel chinois avec légumes, pâtes, dim sum, bao, …"

"The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, fully equipped with all the essentials. The surroundings were very pleasant, and it was wonderfully quiet at night, perfect for a restful sleep. The service was excellent – warm, attentive, and they even prepared breakfast for us, which was a very thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. Their main courses were also delicious and offered great value for money. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. My only regret is not having taken any photos."

"I had an excellent stay at this guest house. The family that runs it is very friendly and very helpful. Not a lot of English is spoken, but don't let that deter you, it's a very welcome place and they'll take care of your needs. They can provide a lot of info on visiting the Wall and the location is just a hundred meters from the entry gate to the Jinshanling Wall. Even though it's still a few 100 meters walking after that, this is the closest you can stay in case you want to get on the wall for sunrise. Dinner was very tasty. I would definitely come back!"

"Absolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round!
Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

"This place was the best after our long walk along the Great Wall. We started in Gubekiou and walked the wall until Jinshanling. The farmhouse was only about a 20 min walk from the entrance of the Great Wall which we were happy about. As soon as we walked up the owner ran up and welcomed us and showed us to our rooms. Each of our rooms had two small beds and a bathroom w a shower. Great value for your money. The family running it fed us delicious food for breakfast and dinner, were so welcoming and even helped us plan our next day hike. Would stay here again!"

"From Beijing to Chaoyang, search for attractions along the road, see the Jinshanling Great Wall, the evaluation is very good, so I decided to come here. I turned over for a long time when I booked the hotel, and finally chose this farmyard. The owner's family is very enthusiastic and has parking spaces. The hotel is at the gate of the scenic spot. Note that it is not outside the gate of the scenic spot, but the entrance of the middle gate of the scenic spot. It directly saves the cost of the battery car. After visiting the Great Wall, the proprietress came to pick it up from the east gate. The location of the hotel is also very good. After watching the night view of the scenic spot, I found that the location of the hotel was great. "The room is clean and hygienic, the boss service is warm and thoughtful, the food is delicious, I like it very much, parking is convenient, I came to Jinshanling to play for six days, every day the boss can take the time to pick up and drop off to the ticket gate, is a good value for money farmhouse. His family's salmon, magnolia bud paste cake, meat stew fried meat, gourd strip fried meat, handmade leek egg dumplings, home-cooked cakes impressed me very much."

"A truly unique stay at the foot of the Wall! The rooms were clean and the beds incredibly comfortable. We slept the best on the entire trip. It was almost -20°C outside, but it was wonderfully warm inside. The owner gave us great tips for hiking on the Wall. The homemade food was absolutely delicious. The rooms are adorned with beautiful photographs of the Wall, taken by the owner himself. Whatever we needed, they took excellent and heartfelt care of us. Thank you so much for the wonderful time! We will definitely be back 😊"

Especially enthusiastic! Serious and meticulous! The rooms are clean and tidy and well equipped. High cost performance! And the experience is great! The rooms are spacious and bright, the beds are comfortable, the hotel is strategically located, the transportation is convenient, and the surrounding facilities are complete. There is a special shuttle bus, just go where you want to go! Highly recommended to friends who need to stay! From check-in to check-out, every link is satisfactory. The hotel facilities are modern, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff are warm and courteous. Next time I come to Jinshanling, I will choose to stay at this hotel! ! ! SSidouOn April 30, we just randomly found a restaurant to stay at night, but it was unexpected. The boss and his wife were very nice. They waited for us at around 9 o'clock in the evening and helped us prepare dinner. The dishes cooked by the boss were also very delicious and especially suitable for our appetite. The room was newly renovated and carefully decorated. It was clean, hygienic and refreshing! I will choose this restaurant next time I go to Jinshanling Great Wall. There is a large parking lot at the door, which is convenient for parking.

VVivie PanI have known the owner of this restaurant for many years. When I come to Jinshanling Great Wall, I always go to the Cui Family Courtyard for lunch. The proprietress Xiaoli is quick at work and the food is delicious. The whole family is very enthusiastic. This is the first time to stay at his house. The room is clean and comfortable. Not on the roadside, very quiet at night. It’s a great choice to watch the sunrise and sunset at Jinshanling Great Wall. The boss Er Ming is a photography enthusiast and a big anchor, and he can accompany him to climb the Great Wall.

1. There is a simple breakfast, although there are not many things, but there is no problem with eating, noodles, rolls, porridge, boiled eggs and a few small pickles, saving time than going out to find a restaurant to eat.
2, there are both slippers and traditional foam slippers, the latter bath is very convenient.
3. The front desk staff is warm and responsive.
Problems found:
1, after the bath, the water can not be drained immediately, the next day there is still water on the bathroom floor.
2. The water heater is connected to the large shower head. This shower head has a large amount of water. The hot water of the water heater cannot be supplied in the later stage, and the water becomes cold. So it is recommended to replace it with a small nozzle.
The room I live in is on the innermost side of the corridor. Under the window is Xingang East Street where the hotel gathers. It is equivalent to going to the room to go to most of the street. Haha, so the room price is cheap?
The disposable toiletries provided by the hotel are useless except for small soaps (the last picture), and the dental appliances and shampoo that you bring with you. In order to protect the environment, it is recommended that you use as little as possible disposable items. This kind of items are discarded once they are used up, which is not friendly to the environment.
