"Stayed here for my hike from jinshanling to gubeikou. The location itself is great for visiting this section of the great wall. With just a short hike up the street you will reach the ticket office. Alternatively a driver could also be arranged.
After arriving the host immediately welcomed me. He also speaks english and was very helpful in planning my hike and sunrise photography. Overall a really nice and welcoming service.
The room itself was very modern and comfortable. Nothing really to complain about.
A huge plus was also the restaurant next door. Really great food with local ingredients."

"Traveling with my parents and kid, staying at the foot of the mountain was super convenient for climbing the Great Wall, and we could park our car right in the hotel courtyard. The room was quite clean, though some of the facilities were a bit old. However, you could tell it was built with high-end hotel standards in mind. The ladies who helped with our luggage after check-in were all very welcoming, and the restaurant food was quite good (chef, your cooking is delicious, just a little less salt next time please!). Breakfast was decent. For families with kids, I think this is an excellent, hassle-free choice."

"I went to the Jinshanling Great Wall in December. It was very cold weather, but I was warmed by the store. I went to see the sunrise in the morning and came back for a warm handkerchief noodles. I talked a lot with the simple boss and the proprietress. The room was very clean and cleaner than the picture. There were disposable towels and bath towels. And the toilet seat, water heater air conditioner are all new by Xiaomi, the TV is also an Internet TV, go to Beijing to play and sleep the most comfortable night, next time I will choose summer, very close to the entrance of the attraction, two or three minutes on foot"

"I would like to highlight three things in which I felt were very pleasant during my stay at the lodging.
First, I was pleasantly surprised at the service they offered. When my family and I were staying at lodging, the workers were extremely heartwarming and kind. They were willing to answer any questions we had about the attractions nearby and even drove us to the Jinshan Ling Great Wall of china Nearby.
Second, I would like to highlight the amenities and activities offered at the lodging. Although we only scratched the surface of the activities they offered. The lodging provided us with countless options. From having a mini movie theatre as well as pool & billiards room, they also offered a wide range of outdoor adventures such as kayaking and fishing which will surely enrich your stay there. Furthermore, the amenities themselves at the room we were staying in were exceptional. The lodging was spacious and provided us with separate rooms to stay in, making our stay an extremely pleasant one.
Lastly, I would like to highlight the food at the lodging itself. At every lodging one books I’m sure one would look forward to having delectable food right within a stone’s throw away. Needless to say, the food offered by the lodging from breakfast to dinner was both delicious and affordable.
I would highly recommend booking a stay here should you want to visit the attractions in the area but don’t forget to take time to enjoy and experience the adventures offered by the lodging too!"

"At the beginning it is hard for me to choose even the review is positive, but when I arrive and check in, I totally change my view. The surrounding is cozy, the room are clean with no cigarette odour even they provide ash tray in the room (suggest owner take away the ash tray and put a notice smoke at provider smoking area out side the premises), toilet are bright and water pressure is good (but hope the owner can make a little bit changes for the wiring system of the water heater), the food is tasty and size are too big for solo traveller (suggest to owner set a
price for small size for not wasting food), the owner parents are friendly and always give the good service. At night, surrounding is quite and good to rest. it is a walking distance to Jing shang ling tourist center but if planning to do the sunrise walk the owner will provide a transfer service to the entrance at 330am. "The room and hardware facilities are pretty good, and the price is honestly very affordable during the National Day holiday. . . The worst part is the lack of service and service awareness. . .
First, I booked 2 rooms, and one of them didn’t have slippers. I called and asked for them to be brought to me, and then he directly ordered me to look for them in the cupboard for a long time. Don’t you know if there are any?

"We stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters."

"We hiked the Great Wall of China from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and chose this hotel to rest after the day. The accommodation is ideally located, right next to the entrance gate to the Wall. The host was very welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All the beautiful photos you see of his establishment were taken by the host himself! Since we were there during the off-season and most shops were closed, the host offered to cook dinner and breakfast for us. He is a delicious cook. He also offers taxi services and was able to take us to Gubeikou train station the next morning for our return trip to Beijing. We are extremely grateful for this wonderful stay in Jinshanling and would gladly return!"

"This homestay really exceeded expectations! The location is particularly convenient, the surrounding environment is quiet, travel and eating are very worry-free. The room is clean and tidy, the layout is warm and stylish, the bedding is comfortable, the toiletries are complete, and the details are very careful. The landlord was warm and thoughtful, responded promptly, and also recommended play guides and local food intimately, which made people feel like going home. The public area is clean and comfortable, and the photos are also very good. Absolutely loved this hotel! It's so quiet, and the service is thoughtful without being intrusive, which really allowed me to mentally unwind. The 'morning coffee, evening alcohol' concept and the writer/reader-friendly environment completely exceeded my expectations! I'm already looking forward to staying at The Ideal State again on my next trip.

The room was very clean, and the facilities looked new. The hot water was excellent, very comfortable, and the water pressure was strong. The bedding felt slightly damp on the first floor. The soundproofing was pretty good. The landlady cooked delicious food. Overall, a very good stay.

The autumn scenery at Jinshanling in Anaya is truly stunning. The natural beauty, first-class environment, and the historical significance of the Ming Great Wall at Jinshanling make the trip well worth it. The accommodations were as clean as a five-star hotel, yet without the overpowering hotel smell. Excellent!!

The location of the guest house is just perfect,only 10 minutes walk from the mid entrance of the great wall. From there you can explore the Wall walking east and it’s the best,very few people. But the best thing about the accomodation is the sweet family managing it! The food is just delicious,with huge portions and big choice! The lady also gave me a big help to find a good taxi to go back to Gobeikou. Especially when you travel solo it’ is really nice to see such big smiles and help! I can only recommend it!

Wonderful place to stay, we loved it! Within walking distance of the main gate of the Jinshanling Great Wall, this place is beautiful, spacious, welcoming, clean and comfortable. The host is so nice and the restaurant downstairs is delicious (try the eggplant special, it's spectacular). We would absolutely stay here again!

ZZiming21Advantages:
1. There is a simple breakfast, although there are not many things, but there is no problem with eating, noodles, rolls, porridge, boiled eggs and a few small pickles, saving time than going out to find a restaurant to eat.
2, there are both slippers and traditional foam slippers, the latter bath is very convenient.
3. The front desk staff is warm and responsive.
Problems found:
1, after the bath, the water can not be drained immediately, the next day there is still water on the bathroom floor.
2. The water heater is connected to the large shower head. This shower head has a large amount of water. The hot water of the water heater cannot be supplied in the later stage, and the water becomes cold. So it is recommended to replace it with a small nozzle.
The room I live in is on the innermost side of the corridor. Under the window is Xingang East Street where the hotel gathers. It is equivalent to going to the room to go to most of the street. Haha, so the room price is cheap?
The disposable toiletries provided by the hotel are useless except for small soaps (the last picture), and the dental appliances and shampoo that you bring with you. In order to protect the environment, it is recommended that you use as little as possible disposable items. This kind of items are discarded once they are used up, which is not friendly to the environment.
