"The hotel's location is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and they were quite good. After checking in and resting up, we hiked the Great Wall after 3 PM. We didn't take the cable car at all. It's about a 20-minute walk from the hotel to Zhuanduokou, and we took our time enjoying the scenery. The path down from Houchuankou has stairs. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Jinshanling!"

"1. The B&B is located near the Jinshanling Great Wall's Middle Gate. The owner can arrange a shuttle service to Gubeikou Station. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the ticket booth. 2. The hostess upgraded us to a deluxe room, which was newly renovated with great facilities, and the environment was very clean and tidy. 3. The hostess's cooking was also delicious and reasonably priced. 4. The owner, hostess, and their son were all warm and hospitable, providing thoughtful service and answering all our questions. Five-star rating!"

"Love their home cooked dishes! We rather go back to hotel for meal after Gubei water town. The couple bosses were so sweet to let us indicate spiciness and accommodate our minor diet restriction. They dun have noodles but they used alternative ingredients to make some gourd dish that tasted close to noodles. The rooms were big, in SG standard, one bed was queen size and the other was super single. Their bathroom was newly renovated and love their heater installed at shower cubicle, making it more comfortable to shower in cold weather. The couple bosses provided great tips on local transport to help us get to/fro Jinshanling for sunset and sunrise opportunities. They are situated around 5min drive from Jinshanling ticketing. Love the room doorstep views overlooking the geese and house dog. We will choose this hotel next time!"

"I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The courtyard was lovely, clean, and quiet. The owners were very welcoming, making me feel right at home. The location was excellent, close to the scenic area, making sightseeing very convenient. The food was fresh and delicious, and the price was incredibly reasonable. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel's location is pretty good, and the surroundings are very quiet. It's only about a 19-minute drive to Jinshanling Great Wall. However, the Jinshanling exit on the G45 Beijing-Chengde Expressway is closed, so you have to take a detour. When there are fewer guests, breakfast is served individually with generous portions. When it's busy, they open a buffet with a wider variety of options. The room was spacious, great for families. But there were a lot of ladybugs (or 'stink bugs' as some call them) that somehow got into the room; we had to clear them out as soon as we checked in. The bathroom drain was clogged, so the facilities definitely need some maintenance. It's probably okay for a 1-2 night stay."

"It was a lovely place and people. We talked through translator but there was no problem at all. The room was amazing. I am not sure where I can find that kind of room with this price but here. I ate a dinner and it was great both price and taste. Next day I climbed up again and asked to prepare my lunch. It was wonderful to eat such a great food with the great view on the great wall. I 100% recommend this hotel to stay and taste foods. Almost forgot. I bought apples and pears. Great."

"We stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters."

"We hiked the Great Wall of China from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and chose this hotel to rest after the day. The accommodation is ideally located, right next to the entrance gate to the Wall. The host was very welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All the beautiful photos you see of his establishment were taken by the host himself! Since we were there during the off-season and most shops were closed, the host offered to cook dinner and breakfast for us. He is a delicious cook. He also offers taxi services and was able to take us to Gubeikou train station the next morning for our return trip to Beijing. We are extremely grateful for this wonderful stay in Jinshanling and would gladly return!"

"The rooms were clean and hygienic, the owner was warm and attentive, the food was delicious and I really liked it, and parking was convenient. I stayed for six days during my trip to Jinshanling, and the owner always made time to pick me up and drop me off at the ticket gate every day. It's a farmhouse inn with good value for money. I was particularly impressed by their braised fish, magnolia sprout pancakes, stir-fried pork with mushrooms, stir-fried gourd strips with pork, handmade chive and egg dumplings, and homemade pancakes."

"Friends went to Anaya Jinshanling for a holiday together, did not choose folklore, but chose Lanshan Apartment Hotel. It turned out to be a very correct decision.
