"The location is absolutely fantastic, making it the top choice for both night tours and daytime visits to the Chinese Academy of Sciences. However, the facilities are undeniably outdated; it's an old-fashioned hotel, and the breakfast is just average. Even for an old hotel, it barely scrapes by as a 3-star. The lack of charging stations is a major inconvenience, as you have to drive more than ten minutes from the east gate to the west gate to charge. But, if you're planning night tours and daytime sightseeing, I genuinely recommend it because you can directly access everything from the hotel lobby, which means more sleep! Despite the hotel being old, the service is prompt and the staff are quite nice."

"My first choice is that the location is suitable. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is very convenient for day and night tours. Shopping nearby is convenient. The overall hardware facilities are clean, tidy and easy to use. The waiter has a good attitude and communicates well. Breakfast is not much, home-cooked, suitable for dining on the go. Thank you for sending me a breakfast. The price/performance ratio is poor, a double room is a bit expensive at 600 yuan. The executive suite is too expensive at 1,200 yuan per room. Apart from being bigger, there is nothing special about it, so I don’t recommend it."

The owner is wonderfully kind; she even took me to see eagle owls and brown swifts. I'd love to visit again given the chance. I really hope the owners publish a bird-watching guide for Xishuangbanna."

"The hotel facilities aren't high-end, but they are clean and tidy, offering excellent value for money. Crucially, its location is superb. The Nanla River rafting and Manlongle market are right next to the hotel, and the Wangtianshu Scenic Area is only a 15-minute drive away, saving you the hassle of long journeys to various attractions. You don't need to rush each day. The hotel also has plenty of on-site children's play facilities (hippo park, jungle zipline, go-karts), providing plenty of entertainment for families with kids. The surrounding dragon fruit orchards offer breathtaking sunset views. Highly recommended for those planning to visit these attractions!"

"I found this hotel by accident. It just opened not long ago. All the facilities are very new. The rooms are spacious and bright. The hygiene is very clean. The voice intelligent control is very convenient. The guy at the front desk is polite and friendly. It is a hotel beyond my expectations. It is very good! "I didn't expect a three-star hotel at this price point to offer such an experience—the value for money is truly outstanding! Even though it's a three-star, the hygiene standards are on par with some four-star hotels. The room was spotless, and the bedding was incredibly clean and soft, making for a very comfortable sleep. "My child and I took a private car from Jinghong city to Wild Elephant Valley on the 28th, then checked into Anantara. Anantara, in my mind, is the pinnacle of domestic resorts, synonymous with 'wild luxury,' beautiful surroundings, and excellent service. The latter two, Anantara certainly delivered on. The lobby is grand, and when we first entered the room, it didn't feel dated at all. Lush greenery filled the view from the window – a plant lover's dream! Outside the balcony was a large garden. On the first day, I spent the entire afternoon intently watching trees and birds, spotting red-whiskered bulbuls, oriental magpie-robins, sooty-headed bulbuls, blue-throated barbets, and sunbirds. I saw various fruit-bearing trees, including coconuts and legumes. Even the large bathtub in the bathroom had a view of extensive greenery. We attended the evening ritual and released water lanterns. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and even showed us photos she took of a large gecko. The restaurant staff and kids' club team remembered us staying for several days. They gave us small gifts and fulfilled our request for pineapple fried rice. The complimentary travel photoshoot was excellent, capturing some truly memorable 'life photos.' Every staff member we encountered greeted us warmly. The two resident musicians from Malaysia, who performed in the lobby bar in the afternoon and by the restaurant entrance in the evening, were absolutely superb and a definite highlight of our trip. There were some drawbacks, however. The housekeeping staff throughout the resort was noticeably insufficient. We returned to our room at 1:30 PM, and it still hadn't been cleaned. This was the only time we didn't call for housekeeping, and thinking about it, it's probably a good thing we didn't, as the service speed likely wouldn't have kept up. Perhaps it was due to the off-season before the May Day holiday, but there seemed to be fewer staff in the hotel's public areas. The children's activities were almost identical every day and mostly concentrated in the mornings, which was a shame as we spent every morning at the botanical garden. Lastly, the price. It's an hour from Jinghong city, in an area where local guesthouses cost around 100 RMB per person. Yet, the hotel's calendar rate was as high as 2000 RMB. Locals definitely wouldn't go; it only attracts those who come for its reputation. The restaurant food was good, with generous portions, but the prices felt like they were converted from US dollars. We ate four meals at Anantara and spent 1000 RMB. Well, no more talk, I'm off to earn more money!"

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, except that the air sober agent tasted a bit heavy. Next to it is the Menla Night Market, the barbecue is delicious, it is too salty, the taste is a little bit perfect. Lao hot pot is more ordinary, there is no amazing feeling, it is ordinary barbecue and hot pot. The price of consumption in this place is not low, but the price of the room is very cheap. I went to visit the surprise Li Dingguo Temple and looked at the light of Nanming in my heart. Such important historical monuments should be well publicized and repaired. Li Dingguo has more war skills and spirits than Zheng. The national heroes of the Han nationality are actually commemorated by the construction of various ethnic groups in Banna. I went to see the dragon orchard, the lights are very beautiful at night!"

"The most surprising experience of this trip to Mengla was the Levande Hotel! It's right near the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and only a 20-minute drive to the Wangtianshu Scenic Area (the front desk lady was so kind to let me know there's a weekend market going on there—you can ride a shared electric bus to experience the unique local night market life). You can even see Dai villages along the way. The location is perfect! Another comfort and convenience feature is the hotel's free pick-up service (because it was already past 7 p.m. and I hadn't realized how hard it was to get a taxi. After waiting for half an hour with no one to respond, I realized the hotel offered a pick-up service and quickly contacted the hotel through the booking process. The driver was incredibly friendly!) The hotel room was even bigger than I expected! Over 30 square meters was plenty comfortable! The tropical decor, large windows, and cleanliness were topped off! The disposable bath towels were especially impressive: individually sealed, thick, and lint-free. Upon opening, we found a thick, non-woven fabric that's highly absorbent and lint-free (a reassuring thought for those of us who are particular about hygiene and attention to detail)."
