This was probably the biggest surprise of our Yunnan trip â we stumbled upon this village by accident. For city dwellers like us, it felt like a paradise. From an extremely impoverished village to one where everyone has an income, the villagers said it was Professor Li Xiaoyun's team (I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling) who helped the village generate tourism revenue. We booked a three-bedroom room for 1730 yuan a night. It was the second day of the ***** New Year, so that's understandable, but seeing in the reviews that it was a poverty alleviation project, we immediately placed the order. Since we were going to book a guesthouse anyway, it wouldn't hurt to do something good. Driving from the Wangtianshu Scenic Area, there's only one road into the village, and the winding roads scared me half to death! Definitely check in during the day! The one-way street makes passing difficult, especially since we were in a campervan. When we arrived, we were truly shocked. It was a village with only one small shop. To be honest, that might not be accurate; there were no restaurants, no milk tea shops, no convenience stores, no coffee shops â absolutely no commercial establishments. Honestly, I was a little shocked because I didn't expect such a pristine, authentic village. Each guest room was in a different family's home. The village has over 60 households and more than 200 people. You can pay the family you're staying at to have their meals prepared, using vegetables they grow themselves and pigs and chickens they raise themselves. I haven't written this review yet because I really wanted to sit down and write a proper review. If my initial impression of the village was surprise, astonishment, and a little regret, then afterwards it was pure joy, delight, and regret for arriving too late. In the evening, I watched the village girls dancing on the basketball court. The owner of the house I stayed at, Brother Deng, was born in 1984. My husband and father ate and drank with him, and he even took my father and husband to visit other villagers. Everyone in the village was simple, honest, and warm-hearted. Although I couldn't understand their dialect, I could feel everyone's kindness and welcome. Even though the rooms weren't very soundproofâafter all, it's a wooden village, part of the Yao cultureâit was very clean. You could tell they were putting effort into making this a good tourist destination. I hope Hebian Village continues to thrive. See you next time! If you're willing to put down your phone and experience nature, to escape the city and enjoy a day of simplicity, believe me, it's worth the trip, unforgettable, and truly a return to nature. This special trip perfectly embodies that feeling.

TakemeeverywhereIt was a perfect stop before passing the border of Lao. The employees are great and helpful. They could even provide us with some cash to be able to pay our visa at the border.
The breakfast buffet was delicious, they even made something special for us as they thought we don't like chinese breakfast.
The room was beautiful and very clean with a very nice view on a lushy green scenery. The bed was very confortable. They had already turn on the AC before we enter the room, that shows such a good service. There is a very good restauraurant âJinsong...â just 5 min walk on the main road.
Would recommend 100%

AixuanbaobeierThe hotel environment and breakfast were average, but the hotel was clean. The service was good. There was a laundry room, which was convenient. Parking was available. Complimentary welcome fruit was provided. The front desk staff were very responsive. Thumbs up! The swimming pool was being cleaned and not filled with water, so I won't comment on that. The rooms were spacious. Again, I want to reiterate that the cleanliness was good and the facilities were new. For a small town, this is considered relatively good accommodation. I would recommend staying here.

Guest UserThis hotel was amazing. Itâs only a year old but the amenities look like itâs brand new and inside of the room seems no different from a five-star. The only thing missing was a bathroom scale. Nice courtyard pool below just big enough to do some short laps and a kilometer from the night market. Interesting little area and they have street side eatery outside with a good view. The best part though is the manager Mr. Wu was exceptionally helpful. When he saw me arriving by bicycle, he did everything he could to make my stay more pleasant and even offered to go the extra mile with extra service and help. An unbelievable bargain, and a nice end to my journey. ïżŒ

Clean and tidy, not very spacious, but has a balcony for good ventilation. There's a food street diagonally opposite, and it's a five-minute drive to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Botanical Garden. The entire room features North American imported oak furniture with no unpleasant odors. Breakfast is reasonably priced and quite comprehensive, offering fried dough sticks, steamed dumplings, red bean buns, corn, sweet potatoes, boiled eggs, fried eggs, stir-fried vegetables, various porridges, fruits, milk, soy milk, coffee, and coconut milk. The special dishes are rice noodles and wontons. The staff are warm and welcoming, and parking is convenient.

The hotel is very cost-effective, very comfortable, high oxygen content, good greening, and good facilities (the toilet can be heated very intimately, and cute robots can come to the door to deliver the materials needed at any time), clothes can be washed and dried at any time Very good, the front desk, The attitude of the waiter and the boss is very good and very caring and patient. The yard is also very comfortable. It is comfortable to leave. The supplies and bedding in the room are very particular, so that you have the feeling of going home and the experience is full. Stay here next time.

rightearI went there around the Spring Festival, planning to visit Wangtianshu Temple and then take the high-speed rail to Kunming. This hotel was surprisingly the best I'd booked on this trip. The location was also great. The room was very modern. There were plenty of things to do nearby. There was free drop-off at the station, and the staff helped me call a Didi taxi, which was quite convenient.

KugaidexiaoyuzhouFirst of all, the hotel receptionist was incredibly nice! His service was warm and attentive! He even thoughtfully brought us breakfast since we were a family traveling together! The breakfast was absolutely delicious!
Located very close to the Mohan border crossing, the hotel has a strong Southeast Asian style. The facilities are a bit old, the drainage isn't very smooth, but there's a separate wet and dry area. The rooms are spacious and reasonably clean. There are several restaurants nearby, and it's very convenient to get around by car. The price-performance ratio is excellent.
Now, let me talk about the breakfast. It was absolutely delicious! The ingredients were visibly high-quality and fresh. This breakfast made me forgive any minor shortcomings in the facilities. The young man who made breakfast looked a bit stern, but he was actually incredibly kind and proactively told us what was available. The rice porridge was thick and creamy with rice oil, and the rice was tender and fragrant. The sticky rice wrapped in bamboo leaves was also very tasty, and the self-service fruit was sweet. In short, I would definitely come back again just for this breakfast!

First off, the hotel's location is absolutely perfect; it's just a 5-6 minute walk from the North Gate.
Next, the front desk service was exceptional. Upon our arrival, the hotel owner personally helped us with our luggage, and the front desk staff were very professional. The check-in process was smooth and seamless.
The breakfast was quite good too. For a hotel located near the botanical garden, it offered a surprisingly substantial spread.
Finally, we mistakenly booked a room without a window. When we inquired about switching rooms, the hotel generously offered us a complimentary upgrade.
Overall, if you're planning a trip to the botanical garden and intend to stay overnight, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

This trip to the triangular house in Kunlong Valley, Mengyuan Wonderland, is a dream trip and must be praised!
As soon as you step into the triangular house, the unique shape is eye-catching. The wooden structure is matched with large glass windows, which complement the surrounding rainforest. The sunlight shines in, and the light and shadow are mottled, which is beautiful. The facilities in the house are far beyond expectations. The bed is soft and warm, and you can sleep well all night; the independent bathroom is clean and tidy, hot water is available at any time, and the supplies are exquisite and complete.
The most intoxicating thing is the surrounding environment. In the morning, you are awakened by the crisp bird song. When you open the door, fresh air with the fragrance of plants and trees hits you in the face. Strolling along the rainforest trail, you can see lush greenery, encounter rare plants and smart small animals, which is fun.
The service is even more heartwarming. The staff is enthusiastic. They will introduce the gameplay in detail when you check in, provide help at any time during the tour, and carefully prepare rainforest specialties. You can also enjoy the gluttony on your tongue. Here, people and nature blend together, and fatigue is swept away. I sincerely recommend it to all friends who yearn for nature. Come here to start a spiritual journey!
