"The most memorable travel moments aren't always the prettiest. Sometimes it's the difficult times when someone steps in to help.
We had an issue with our booking, but the front desk handled everything with great kindness. Resolving it right upon arrival was enough to get us off to a good start.
The room was lovely, the bed comfortable, and we were already looking forward to the next day.
Breakfast was generous. We chose croissants and overnight oats with a sea view, and that made everything even better.
The hotel recommended an island hopping tour. We waited for the guide directly in the lobby, which was very convenient. The beach was just a few minutes' walk to board the boat, and being able to go straight back to our room to change was a huge plus.
In the evening, the front desk suggested a few restaurants. We went to one of them and really enjoyed it. We had less and less desire to leave. See you next time!"

"The breakfasts are superb. The rooms are large, the beds are wide, and the mattresses are good. This hostel feels very much like a hotel. The staff is very attentive. There's a spot to sit with a laptop, and tables on the balcony in the common area. There's also a bar with a pool and drink giveaways. My only minor complaint is the noisy air conditioning system, but if you're tired, you won't even hear it in your sleep! đ"

"H Hotel El Nido was a perfect stay! The staff went above and beyond, especially Sky, to make sure our stay was restful and that we had a great experience. They helped us arrange a private speed boat island hoping tour which was amazing. The food at Verde, their attached restaurant, was delicious. The bar upstairs had a great view of the bay and was a wonderful place to wind down with a cocktail. Everything was walkable from this location. So may great little shops, coffee places, and other places to dine nearby. If you want to go further a tuk tuk is easy to grab to head to another beach. We had a room with a sea view. It was modern, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also you get a discount at the excellent massage place next door for staying at this hotel. The hotel arranged a free pick up and transport from the El Nido airport too! Highly recommend âŚ. Just book this place now! Look no further!"

"Finally, a good night's sleep in El Nido!
The biggest worry about staying in the town center is the bass from bars and the noise of motorbikes at dawn. I chose J Boutique because itâs located on the outskirts of the main townâit's much quieter, and thereâs a huge massage parlor right next door! The room isn't big, but the refreshing color palette is very relaxing. My only minor gripe is that you can still hear people talking in the hallway, but compared to the chaos of the main street, this place is heaven. The bedding was dry and fresh, which is a huge plus for me since I hate that damp island smell."

"Our stay at Funny Lion was absolutely wonderful, and we can say with full confidence that this is a truly special place.
The location is perfect, very convenient and comfortable, but what makes this hotel outstanding is the people. The staff are incredibly responsive, caring, and attentive. They genuinely care about their guests and even remember everyone by name, which makes you feel truly welcomed and valued from the very first day.
The rooms are beautiful, very clean, cozy, and well maintained. Everything is done with great attention to detail.
There is absolutely no need to stay directly on the beach because the hotel regularly provides a transfer to their own Papaya Beach at 9:00 and 11:00 in the morning, with return transfers at 14:00 or 16:00. It is very convenient and well organized.
We highly recommend using the hotelâs airport transfer both to and from the airport. When our flight from El Nido was unexpectedly canceled, the team went above and beyond and helped us organize a transfer all the way to Puerto Princesa. This level of support and care is rare and priceless.
We will definitely return with great pleasure.

"I stayed at Z Garden Hotel between 28th Nov and 1st Dec. My stay was absolutely amazing. I arrived on an early morning flight, and despite check in being from 3pm, Remy re assured me that they will do their best to accommodate me within a short time. I left my luggage with reception and went to have some breakfast. By the time I returned my room was prepared and I was blown away at the hospitality of the staff as Remy realised upon check in that it was my birthday a few days before and the staff prepared my room with balloons and decor which left me speechless. The staff at the hotel really epitomise the hospitality and kindness of the people of Philippines. Every day my room would be left spotless and as a solo traveller it had everything I could have needed. Modern, stylish room and the bed was so comfortable. I generally struggle to sleep in Hotels but the bed was really comfortable and a warm space to relax. I was greeted by every staff member that passed by from the reception team, to housekeeping to the security guard at night. Any advice I needed or transport arranged, Remy took absolute care of everything as though I was her own guest and it really leaves a beautiful memory of my travels. It is in a brilliant location, in a quiet relaxing space just a short distance away from the lively scene of El Nido. I hope to return to El Nido in future with my family and without hesitation I will choose to stay at Z Garden Hotel again.

"This hotel was superb overall. The service was really good, especially the staff who were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and it was good.
The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the town square, so itâs better to rent a scooter to save on transportation costs and get around more easily.
Itâs a nice and peaceful place to relax, especially after a nonstop island-hopping tour."

"EL nido suites Location and the hotel facilities are the best.
The staff was helpful and room was good. I was able to book massage, tour and motor bike from the reception staff. Breakfast did let me down but still not bad. Bus terminal is next to it and the el nido public market.
Vanila beach, lio beach and nacpan beach is not far. Especially old town is around 10 minutes of walking distance from the hotel for the night life and for good restaurants.
Overall i would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The hotel looks nice from the outside, but everything inside felt dirty and poorly maintained. Initially, we were put in a room overlooking vents and a noisy street, even though we had specifically requested a quiet room when booking. The hotel was accommodating and moved us to a different room. However, I have to say, the soundproofing is poor; you can hear everything happening outside very clearly. Especially the motorcycles going by and the rooster crowing in the mornings!
The cleaning was terrible â everything was dusty and grimy. And they'll only clean your room if you remember to hang the 'make up room' sign on the door.
Breakfast was a letdown; the selection was very limited. The cheese was awful and clearly the cheapest kind. There was no cold cuts or ham. Breakfasts here felt more like lunch or dinner. You're better off going to local cafes for breakfast.
On the positive side, the location is good, and the pool area is beautiful with a fantastic view.
This hotel might be suitable for a short stay, but definitely keep the aforementioned issues in mind."

"The hotel is a an 8-10 minute walk from the local McDonald's â that's where the transfer drops you off. If you contact the hotel in advance, the staff can come and help with your luggage. If you only have carry-on, you can walk on your own: the path is sandy but very scenic, running along the beach and the sea.
Currently, the hotel consists of two buildings. The rooms in the building with the reception are more spacious and cozy. There's no TV in the room, but with such a magnificent view, you don't even need one! đ
You can rent a moped directly at the hotel, but the road to it is quite challenging: a steep ascent and an equally steep descent. If you're not a confident rider, it might be tricky.
Drink prices are about twice as high as in the store, but this is standard for all hotels on the island. Breakfasts are decent, but not amazing â for this price, you could find more interesting options even on the way to McDonald's.
Overall, we enjoyed everything. Thanks to all the hotel staff â¤ď¸"

⢠Itâs too small for the number of guests across multiple resorts
⢠The restaurant was very disappointing: poor quality, no atmosphere, and not inviting
⢠We ended up going to nearby beach resorts for meals, where the food, pricing, and overall vibe were much better
Overall:
We truly enjoyed our stay thanks to the beautiful setting and comfortable villas. However, the lack of quality facilitiesâespecially the pool and restaurantâmade it feel overpriced. The price-to-quality ratio is not quite there.

MMariaSWPiece Lio was a perfect choice!!! Amazing area, exceptional service and the room was better than we expected. We were very pleasantly surprised. Before choosing this hotel I read some reviews about not the best food options. I am not sure if they changed something but for food options we were offered only continental or English breakfast that was cooked for us fresh and was very good. Too much food if you ask me. We never finished it all. The beach is literally 2 minutes walk and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from along the beach. We had the best time there!

Top-notch hospitality, warmth, and exceptional service!! I am long overdue in sharing my review, but I am excited to share my experience. My husband booked Seda Lio for my 50th birthday celebration. From the moment they picked us up from the airport in a golf buggy , which my boys loved, to the front desk, where we were greeted with drinks and a wonderful welcome, we knew we were in for a exceptional time. The service was unparalleled, led by Miggy, Devine, and their team. They upgraded us to a beautiful and spacious suite, closest to the beach. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and I must mention the delicious Taho and exceptional service provided by Jason and his team (forgot to mention the lady that served our table across the main door who was equally exceptional as well ). I received birthday cake greetings twice during breakfast, courtesy of Jason who made sure I blew my cake before we went for Island hopping, and again during dinner. Kuya Eddie was remarkable, making us feel safe during our island adventure and taking my sons snorkeling.And made my sons coconut palm hat. Seda Lio exceeded my expectations, making my 50th birthday celebration truly unforgettable. Thank you, and I cant wait to return to paradise.. 5 âď¸

GGuest UserI'm grateful for the excellent location and attentive service of the staff. The view from the restaurant over the pool is especially spectacular. The tropical blue ocean at breakfast makes for a wonderful start to the day, and the beautiful sunset at dinner is so captivating it brings tears to my eyes. The villa rooms are immaculately cleaned, and the artwork is wonderful. While it's not a new building, its meticulous maintenance shows the sincerity of the owners and staff. The only thing that could be improved is that the restaurant struggles to keep up with demand when it's busy, but the smiling staff and beautiful view make you forget all about it. The food is, of course, excellent. I'd definitely like to stay here again. El Nido is amazing. I've attached photos of the restaurant and the view from our room.

JJustUsExploringWe stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlightâabsolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort.
The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. Thereâs no TV, so if youâre traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

TThat girl abroadI was honestly a bit disappointed with this resort. When you see the word âresortâ and pay resort prices, you expect a certain standard. Unfortunately, it didnât quite live up to that.
The bed only had a thin sheet with no proper bedding, there was no water provided in the room, and parts of the property felt quite run down with visible rust. The bathroom, especially the shower area, could really use a deep clean. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. There were four different WiFi networks, but none of them worked properly and the connection was very slow. The staff did warn me about this in advance.
That being said, the staff were absolutely amazing. Reception went above and beyond by helping with my large bags, doing my laundry, organizing tours and transport, and assisting with everything I needed. Truly a chefâs kiss to the team. They were the highlight of my stay.
With some upgrades and better maintenance, this place could match the price theyâre charging. Right now, itâs the staff that make the experience worthwhile.

KKmbrVery nice location with amazing sunset. The glamping hotel is new and they are still finishing building it so there were some issues both with the rooms (room lock without proper card but a very hard and strange key, unstable bathroomâs faucet and hot water in the shower with a very unusual control system) and the staff, who asked multiple times if we had payed the room already with Trip and asked for proof of payment. Other than that, it is a pleasant choice for the nice location and the decoration style. The offer a free shuttle service to the town but you need to wait some time usually. In alternative, when u come back to the hotel you will need your walk up to a bit steep road because the tuck tuck will not be able to come all the way up, but itâs not too bad) They also borrow a free towel that u can bring with you to other beaches. They did not clean the room daily and they said the service needed to be requested because they wouldnât enter the room without permission. Also the reception is not open 24h which is a bit unconvenient and they would ask to text on whatshapp. For the price paid and considered how expensive it was for philippines, I would have expected less issues but I would still recommend it for a nice staying in el nido.

GGuest UserThis is a bit of a special place. The hotel is right at its own private beach. Itâs very isolated from everything else which can be nice if you donât want to leave the hotel at all. We wanted to go to the town some evenings and that is a bit of a challenge. You first have to take a golf car (which only runs until 10pm) and then change into a tricycle. The tricycles wonât go directly to the hotel because the last bit of the road is too steep and winded. The other option is to walk along the beach for 20 minutes instead of using the golf car for the last bit, which we did a couple of times. Itâs not too dangerous but there are stray dogs.
The food in the hotel restaurant was Italian and just ok, nothing amazing. The service was not great. Two women seem to know how to run a hotel but the rest of the staff were rather useless. They often seemed annoyed, even when we were just ordering food. We once asked about the zipline that is literally next door and they didnât know anything about it (price, time, how to get there). They organised a tour for us, which was great, but messed up the booking somehow so the tour guide thought we were only two people instead of four, which resulted in less food for lunch. And then they even charged us more for the tour.
Our room was fine. Clean and no bugs. Yes, you can hear everything but we didnât mind that. The room was only made up on request though.
The whole area is beautiful but there were a few things that annoyed us. So I wouldnât come back.

GGuest UserSmall rooms, next to a party street. The size, service and even the location are not worth the money, to be honest. But at that moment there were no options, no choice. All the ports were closed, and the hotels were sold out and there was nowhere to go. We took it for one night.
