"The biggest surprise of this trip was the Rayong Marriott Resort & Spa! I originally only planned to stay for three days, but the hotel was so comfortable that I extended my stay for another three nights! 🏊‍♀️ Environment & Facilities: The hotel's swimming pool is amazing – few people, beautiful scenery, and just incredibly relaxing to sunbathe by the pool. There are two pools: a large infinity pool and a standard pool, both perfect for photos. The entire hotel environment is very quiet, ideal for a relaxing vacation. 💁 Service Experience: The staff were very friendly and made me feel especially warm and cared for. We left our bag at the bar, and the staff kindly took it to the front desk for me, which I really appreciated and made me feel very secure. 🍽️ Dining: The hotel restaurant prices are indeed on the higher side, but that's okay, as it's very convenient to walk to outside restaurants, and there are good value-for-money options nearby. 🚗 Transportation: Getting a Bolt taxi is very easy, and it's close to the Koh Samet pier, making island hopping super convenient. We also went skydiving and visited the wetlands park, making our itinerary very fulfilling! Highly recommended, this hotel definitely won't disappoint! I'll be staying here again next time!"

"1) location - very near the beach (5 minute walk) and near seaside restaurants and 7-11 convenience store but still very quiet and private 2) room was very spacious, clean and well organized with extra, separate beach towels and bath towels plus bath robes 3) staff was courteous and helpful - even got a 2 hour early check-in since it was the middle of the week and not to many guests arriving yet 4) rooftop pool was warm and and the positioning of the infinty edge made you think it ”extended” to the sea which brings me to the next great point - a very very nice view of the beach and surrounding areas."

"The hotel is small but has everything. There is parking for about 4-5 cars. There is also a small swimming pool. The restaurant is very good. The food is delicious. The reception staff are lovely, polite and enthusiastic in providing service."

"We stayed at Rim Pae Resort, a place that holds a lot of memories for me. I used to come here many times with my family when I was a child, and this time we decided to return together with my boyfriend. We really loved our stay. The atmosphere was incredibly quiet and peaceful, which made it perfect for relaxing and slowing down. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a large, comfortable bed. Everything felt well maintained and cozy, so we felt at home right away. The only difference compared to my childhood memories was that we visited during the off-season. The beach was almost empty, and there were hardly any vendors or boats, whereas I remember it being much livelier before. Still, this calmness had its own charm and made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back again in the future!"

"I've been there many times. The hotel is good, right on the beach, with a private beach. The kids love it. There are three additional swimming pools. Breakfast is good. The staff are friendly. In the evening, there's unlimited pork barbecue with big shrimp. If you haven't been there yet, try it. You'll love it!"

"We had an amazing stay! The camp was brand new and very clean. The beach sand was so soft! We want to thank Joey, the wonderful and attentive Camp Cayla staff who made our stay great. As soon as we arrived he arranged everything according to what we liked. He asked us if we wanted to rent a scooter which we choose to do and he organised everything! In the middle of the night we didn’t know how to turn the aircon off (we were holding it too far away) and he was at our door within a few minutes and showed us how to turn it off. He was always on-site and took care of us well! The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. There were some small ants but that’s expected. We had insect spray so it was fine. Negatives: The property is not fenced so there lots of dogs that come very close, this maybe an issue for people that have a fear of dogs or if there’s small children playing around. The bar/ restaurant/ reception area is not ready yet, there is no where to buy food close by."

"We had a fantastic time at the Mercure. We stayed in the Garden side, which meant that we took the van or songtaew over to the Ocean side each morning for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was delicious and sitting right by the ocean was a wonderful experience. Overall, the Garden side is much more spacious and the pool much bigger. We were happy with our choice to stay there. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; however, they are poorly designed. The sink for the bathroom is inexplicably in the bedroom rather than the bathroom. There is very little storage and not even a drying rack on the balcony for wet clothes. My final suggestion to the hotel would be to purchase sun umbrellas for each pair of sun loungers and for each sofa bed. Having only 7 sun umbrellas for the pool and bar area obviously isn’t enough. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely visit again."
