We felt very welcomed right from the moment we stepped in. Front Counter staff were friendly n helpful. Kudos to 小李 & 苹 (the boss) who were very warm n hospitable. Although lunch was optional, the boss actually called us while we were out to ask if we would like to come back for lunch, without hvg us pay for it. She said she treated us like friends coming over for a meal. We really appreciated that gesture. Everything was great, from rooms, cleanliness to amenities, free flow of tea in the lobby. Only not so good thing is the cobbled road leading to the rooms which made it difficult to roll our luggage. Breakfast is mostly the usual 米线 and local stuff. Its good if u don't mind their local style breakfast food. Overall I am satisfied with this place.

The cleaning lady does the cleaning very quickly. Because I was outside for two days, I went out late and came back late, and I didn’t try to make tea with the purple pottery tea set in the room. You can sit by the pond on the first floor or in the study room on the second floor to enjoy the beautiful scenery and sip tea. Breakfast is also good, including traditional Jianshui specialty snacks rice noodles and rolled noodles, as well as various snacks and porridge, as well as fragrant freshly brewed coffee. There are calligraphy and paintings hanging all over the hotel, giving it a very elegant and scholarly atmosphere. Every year when I go to Jianshui, I always choose Hanlinyuan. It has a courtyard style and almost all rooms are suites. It is spacious and quiet in a busy city. I highly recommend it! The increase during holidays is also reasonable at around 1,200 yuan, and it is around 500 yuan for regular stays.
