Hotels Near Wusong Ornamental Area in Jilin

Advantages: Excellent location, convenient transportation, many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, convenient life. Next to the morning market, opposite the bath center, you can feel the life atmosphere of Northeast China. The staff are very enthusiastic, and there are free candied haws when you check in. The room service is very affordable. Disadvantages: The room is a little small, there is no twin room, and you can't add a bed, which is not very convenient for traveling with children. Cleaning is very frequent, but a little sloppy, the quilt has stains and has not been changed, I hope it can be strengthened. The heating is a bit too hot for Cantonese people, and it's very stuffy. Praise the staff in Figure 1!

第一次來吉林市，整體感覺很棒，入住的這家酒店地理位置很好，距離河南街夜市不行五分鐘。門口就有公交車，可以直達火車站。 住了三天，第二天生病了，樓層阿姨很貼心，給人很温暖的感覺。 整體很好，國慶節一趟很開心！

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The hotel staff is particularly nice and helpful. It was very cold and rainy on the day when we left . Since we needed to take a taxi to the train station, the lady at the concierge went outside of the hotel to get a taxi for us ( quite a few taxis around that time), and then took our suitcases from the storage directly to the taxi. We are most grateful for their hospitality. The hotel itself is genuinely 5 stars in all respects. Breakfast is sumptuous and of high quality. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant there. The food was very good and the hostesses were wonderful .. Absolutely marvellous. Highly recommended.

I booked a theme room, and the ceiling spotlights made me start dancing on the spot. The room is a bit old. The room is quite warm, which is very important in winter. The reason I booked this hotel was because I booked the daysinn opposite, but when I checked in, they said that the room was not warm. How can this be possible in the middle of winter?

The room was very clean, the bedding was very good, and the sleep was very comfortable. The sound insulation was poor, and loud conversations and door slamming in the corridor could be heard, but it seemed that there were not many guests, so it was quiet at night. The heating season had not arrived in the past few days, and it was very cold outside, but the room was very warm. The room was heated by geothermal heating, and it would probably be even warmer after the heating season.

I came to this B&B on a business trip. The room is big and has a very clear TV. The owner is so attentive that the TV is available for members. It is well-received. The room is very quiet and the bed is clean. It is quite comfortable to sleep. After dinner in the evening, I went out for a walk to the villa area. It is worthy of being called the Little Switzerland of Northeast China. When I returned to the B&B, the lights hanging on several small roads were all lit up. Everything around became soft and quiet because of these lights. The environment is really good. There are free drink coupons when you check in. The drinks are good. I will come again.

The room is very big, I forgot to take pictures. The room I booked is large so that I can store my ski equipment. The hotel service is also very good. The ski resort provides free pick-up and drop-off. My skis are new, and the hotel also has a place for ski maintenance. The pick-up and drop-off service is very good. One day, we were late for the pick-up and drop-off time, but they still came to pick us up. The only suggestion is that the curtains in the room can be replaced with blackout curtains.

I read extensive reviews before I booked this hotel a few months ago, and my experience staying 3 nights here did support those excellent reviews. The services were superior and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good and packed with sufficient proteins and nutrients to prepare for a full half day skiing. You can rent ski equipments ( even clothing) right at the basement conveniently after you are done eating. Ski passes and ski classes can be purchased right there, with the channel discount prices, so you avoid the hassle of doing these things at the Ski Service Center. There is a Tesla Model Y always ready to take you from hotel basement to the ski slopes (the ski-in and ski-out access was closed during my stay there but in most cases you could do it) and take you back to hotel whenever you call them a few minutes ahead of time). The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the ski lifts, so even without the transportation assistance, it is manageable by putting on ski boots and just walk back and forth with your skis. The room I booked has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a living room with TV and dining table and a kitchen sink and stove ( but no utensils yet so don’t expect to cook meals there). Bottle waters and snacks were replenished daily for free. Besides its own dinning facilities and a small grocery store on the basement, there are plenty of options to eat and shop on the Main Street just down the road from the hotel. Overall, the New Story is a happy story and I look forward to returning in a year or two. (My advice for those who can afford flexible schedules, try to come here in slow season like now outside the Xmas and Chinese New Year windows, the snow is still quite good yet the crowds are not existent and you can get really good deals in staying, though the lift ticket is still not cheap, 430 RMB a or some $60-65 a day. Much more in busy season).

The location of room 904 where I live is very good, with a bird's eye view of the ski resort. The lighting is also very good. In winter, the sun can shine into the house. Have a cup of coffee☕️ and bask in the sun🌞, don't enjoy it too much! The hardware facilities are complete, including water heater, humidifier, washing machine, microwave oven, and it feels like home. After skiing⛷, take a shower and wash clothes in the washing machine immediately, and they will be dry steadily the next morning, great👍. There was a small episode during the stay. The projector in the hall had a blurry picture and the words were reversed. Under the step-by-step guidance of the landlord, it was successfully debugged, and the communication was smooth and barrier-free. 😁😁

Phase 2 is just 8 mins walk to the Ski Resort. There is a bar, restaurants and groceries just below the hotel. The housekeeping service is great. Because of the snow, the room might get wet from the shoes but the housekeeper comes in daily to clean the room. The buffet breakfast is in the Korean restaurant next to the ski resort. It is 28rmb but mine comes with it for free. Many selection of Chinese breakfast food. Good sound proof wall. No reception or person to welcome you but you can add the manager’s wechat. He will send you the door number password. He can also help you rent ski equipment , get ski tickets or rent a car to the airport (1.5 drive, 320rmb) . You can also take the shuttle bus (2hrs, free) but check the timing as it is only 3 times a day. Bed is comfy and water temperature and pressure are just right. There is no facilities. You can go to Seibu Price hotel and pay 158 for gym, pool and hot spring. It was awesome and it’s walking distance. I will stay here again because of value for money!
