Our traveling party of 5 booked 2 rooms. Although our daughters are now grown-up, they enjoyed the family theme, with toys, a small rocking horse (and foam carpet to protect young kids in case of a fall) and cute pillow case and blanket cover - perfect for families with young kids too (the bed is normal size, so teenagers can use it too, without a problem). Rooms were spacious and clean, staff was welcoming and helpful. This is ”the only table tennis themed hotel in China”, so if you want to practice, you can bring your equipment, tables are there, waiting for you (in fact, the National team came to train here). The buffet breakfast was huge, and with multiple food options to satisfy both Western and Chinese tastes. Access from the airport was convenient, a 1-hr bus ride to across the road, and right next to the hotel to go back to Jinan airport, but do check the timing because it seems like every hour or so only. Baotu spring is a 10-15min walk away, so it's a decent location to explore the city too. We will certainly book this hotel for a future Jinan holiday !

The hotel I booked this time is very cost-effective and has a good location. It is surrounded by mountains on one side and the city on the other. There are three shopping malls (Wanda and two Ginza) nearby. The check-in process is very fast. Welcome fruit and afternoon tea included in the online package will be sent. If you have any needs, call the front desk and they can help you solve it quickly. The children like to write calligraphy very much, although they can't do it at all. A set of utensils for writing calligraphy is very novel to children. Breakfast is good! There are still many categories, many options, and the taste is good. My children and I like purple potato balls the most. The only suggestion: I hope the cleaning aunt will be more careful. When I just checked in, I found that there were items from the previous guest.

It is called sweet foam, but it is not sweet but salty, which is very strange. The young lady and brother serving at the lobby bar and every staff member are very kind and enthusiastic. They greeted us actively and smiled. Especially the young brother was very considerate and patient. He introduced the hotel situation and precautions in detail, took the initiative to help us take the luggage to the room, and provided breakfast for three people for free. He responded to customer requests, which is rarely done in some hotels. The transportation is also convenient. There is a bus at the door that goes directly to Daming Lake and Baotu Spring. There is free parking service. A small gift was given to the child before leaving. I will choose his hotel again when I go to Jinan next year.
