I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms are high-end, comfortable, and clean. While smoking is permitted in the hotel, I was pleased to find that my room did not have a smoky smell. The staff was attentive to our needs, and the breakfast offered a good selection.
However, I found that some essential services for foreigners were lacking. For example, assistance with booking a taxi, sending packages, or arranging tours was not available. I was surprised that some essential services were not included, especially given the number of staff available to assist with carrying luggage and opening doors. This was a missed opportunity to enhance the overall guest experience which is something other hotels in China typically offer at no extra cost.
Overall, while the hotel itself is nice, I believe it could benefit from providing these additional services to enhance the guest experience.

The front desk service is very good, enthusiastic and appropriate. When you check in, you will get the same brand of toiletries from Pangdonglai for free. There are also yogurt snacks in the room. It's a great hotel. Most importantly, it's very clean and quiet. The breakfast tastes good. It's not far from the scenic spot. I will stay here again when I come to Kaifeng.
