The room was relatively spacious for Japan. While there's a 7-Eleven downstairs, shopping isn't particularly convenient, as the area is predominantly office buildings and lacks traditional Japanese streets or local architecture with character.
**Pros:**
About a 10-minute walk from Kanazawa Station. It's easy to find: just exit the south gate, turn left, and follow the main road. The rooms were spacious and offered good value for money. There's also a small onsen (hot spring bath) that isn't too crowded if you go early.
**Cons (unrelated to the hotel):**
Kanazawa's main attractions, shops, and restaurants all close by 5 PM – including the tea districts, as you can see in the photo. What's more, they often don't even open until 10-11 AM. With such short operating hours, it's no surprise that prices are high, and it makes you wonder about the local economy's dynamism. The so-called ”Little Kyoto” is a complete misnomer; anyone who has experienced the real Kyoto will honestly find Kanazawa quite unnecessary to visit.
Located in the downtown area of Kanazawa, it is very convenient as you can walk to tourist spots such as Kenrokuen Garden. You can enjoy Kanazawa specialties for breakfast.
