4-Star Hotels in Kanazawa

Brilliant boutique hotel with truly kind and amazing staff.  Only 15 rooms but the staff truly outsize the hotel in terms of what would wow me.  They really make you feel very comfortable and safe.  Great location to visit Kenrokuen! 

Located not far from Kanazawa Station's west exit, this Daiwa hotel stands out with its unique Japanese-style decor, a pleasant surprise and very beautiful. They also have a large public bath. The rooms are clean and tidy. I'd definitely stay here again!

This was my first time staying in such a spacious room in Japan, and the price was incredibly reasonable. The hotel provided fresh water, coffee, and tea daily, and the service was very attentive. The pajamas in the room were yukata-style, which was a nice local touch. The location is right next to JR Kanazawa Station, just a few minutes' walk away, with large department stores and shopping streets nearby. It's incredibly convenient for shopping, transportation, and a wide variety of dining options.

The Hotel Torifito was a very attractive and comfortable home from home for our five night stay in Kanazawa. The room was a good size, well appointed with all the necessary facilities and had a fine view over the city and surrounding hills. Especially noteworthy was the superb breakfast buffet which is the best we have experienced in Japan. The hotel is ideally situated in a quiet location, only a few minutes walk from the railway station and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended all round!

Very good, service, hot springs, breakfast, dinner are all good, a good accommodation experience, not too far from the station, pay extra to upgrade dinner, the beef is delicious, the wine is also good, they will take the initiative to take a photo for us before checking out, very considerate

easy to find, just 2 min walk from train station and a big building in your right hand side. Though not a new hotel with something in common area preferred to be renewed; in side the room is very nice, large room compared with usual standard. Breakfast very nice

Overall had a comfortable 6 nites stay. Location wise is good as walking distance to Kanazawa Station. Please note there is no room cleaning for stay less than 1 week. Had daily breakfast but dont expect buffet style as they only serve coffee tea juices , there is bread and soup rotation every day. Comment on soup perhaps staff can heat up soup as served warm only. Laundry is avail. Wd be nice if guest can be a bit more responsible to collect and clear their clean laundry after it is completed instead leaving it there overnight of which i have noticed it on a few occasion when all laundry machines are occupied. Other than that - there is no coffee tea bags in the guestroom although there are mugs n electric kettle available. Why there is none available at the Lounge for guest to take to the room as lounge is only open for breakfast 7am to 9am. There are no guests sitting in the lounge after 9am.

Best was the receptionist! A young and very professional gentleman that helped us with everything along our stay, he normally works in Kyoto but came for a week to the hotel in kanazawa. Hope to see you at the hotel insomnia KYOTO next time we pass through. Highly recommend this hotel! Some weights at the gym would have been the cherry on top of the cake :)

Right in the heart of town. I was impressed with their welcome drink. Abit far from the train station. There is a bus from the train station, about 3-4 stops away. Room is small as typical japan. Comes with bathtub. Walking distance to shopping, food.

Kanazawa New Grand Hotel Prestige truly impressed us with its excellent location and stunning views, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. The hotel is perfectly situated, offering beautiful scenery that we could enjoy throughout our stay, especially from the dining area. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, professional, and attentive, always ready to help and making us feel genuinely cared for. We absolutely loved the warm and elegant atmosphere of the hotel, which added a special charm to our experience. One of the highlights was definitely breakfast ,enjoying a delicious meal while taking in the breathtaking view was the perfect way to start each day. Overall, everything about our stay, from the service to the ambiance, exceeded our expectations and made our time in Kanazawa truly unforgettable.
