The train and bus stop were right opposite the hotel, so it was very convenient. It was very clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was excellent. The reception staff were also very kind. I took a ferry to Cijin. The bus to the ferry terminal also leaves from the front of the hotel, so it was really convenient. The room had a shower room and a bathtub on either side of the toilet. There was a bathrobe, so I could wear it as a jacket when I felt it was cold. There were no amenities, so you need to bring your own. In the evening, I relaxed in the lounge while enjoying snacks and drinks. A female staff member recommended some snacks, saying they were "delicious," and showed me the translated screen of her smartphone, saying, "If you like snacks, you can bring more." I ate a lot of delicious rice crackers. I went for breakfast around 9:00 and it was quite leisurely. At the dim sum corner, I asked, "I'm vegetarian, is there anything I can eat?" and was told, "Sorry, we don't have anything for vegetarians." So I went to the drink corner and was told, "Are you Japanese? Please give me 10 minutes to prepare steamed food and fried rice for vegetarians." The staff member I spoke to at the dim sum corner immediately told another staff member. I was impressed by the wonderful hospitality. When I said, "I had given up on dim sum and fried rice," they smiled and said, "It's okay, please wait." They brought me a large portion of fried rice and two steamers of veggie dumplings. I didn't want to leave anything because they had made it for me, so I ate it all lol. It was delicious, but I ate too much and I was very, very full. I am very grateful for the kindness I received everywhere I went in Kaohsiung, at the station, the store, and the hotel. I really recommend this hotel. It seems to be a chain called Chateau des Chine, and it seems to have other locations in other areas. I never heard loud voices in the hallways, lobby, or restaurants, so I felt like the customer base was good.
