Semi auto check-in/out. Great location. Fabulous interior! Clean, adequate amenities and air conditioning is good too! Take note, some rooms doesn't have windows. Some great eateries within walking distance.

The service staff is very polite. When giving the room card, they will ask if they need instant noodles and breakfast the next day. porridge or aggregate These two are already worth it. Super air-conditioning super cold Hot water is very hot and super comfortable There are canned drinks in the fridge. The overall CP is very high, it is worth living

This hotel has always been my favorite. Friendly staff are always willing to go an extra miles. Lots of breakfast to choose from along the street. Nice lunch n dinner can be found at the back alley. 5 mins walk to MRT n supermarket.

The hotel is across the Kaoshiung mrt and rail station. It is easily connected to main tourist attractions and HSR station. The staff are friendly and helpful. Note that the breakfast is not international style I like the coffee and tea served round the clock at basement restaurant area .

We stayed at this hotel in March. While this review is in English, we communicated to them in Chinese. We also observed that they could converse with simple English with the international guests. Service - The hotel staff were friendly. We were greeted upon entering the door, and attended to immediately. The check-in process was fast. They also explained to us about the amenities - there is an enclosed area where we can chill, enjoy free drinks and ice cream. We were also entitled to one free drink from the par per day.  Even the housekeepers were friendly. There was an elderly housekeeper on Level 8 who greeted us and offered to guide us to our rooms - was impressed by this because I wasn't expecting this from any housekeeper from any hotel! The receptionist at the level 2 morning buffet hall was also very attentive. I was looking around for the toilet, when one of the staff saw me and asked me if I needed any help. Please keep this proactiveness up :) Food - The breakfast spread was huge and the food was scrumptious. Absolutely recommend. It has a mix of local ********* dishes and western food. I especially love the ********* food spread! (see photos for some of the food options, though i didnt take photo of everything). Room - The room was sufficient and clean. Housekeeping also does a great job at tidying the room. Location - Right next to Kaohsiung Main Station. I could walk directly to the hotel from the station - it seems like the renovation works that the earlier hotel reviews talked about has been resolved, so there is no longer a need to go to the hotel in a roundabout manner.  Super convenient. Other Amenities - They have washing machines, dryers, and even an ironing board! Powder detergent is provided too. This was something we really appreciated. Also, like what I earlier mentioned, they have a hall with the free-flow ice cream and drinks, which is a great place to chill and relax - especially at night after a long day of activities.  Overall, I will recommend Kindness hotel to those staying in Kaohsiung!

I had a wonderful stays here. The staff were exceptionally friendly and spoke English well, which made communication easy and pleasant. The entire hotel was spotless, the cleanliness really stood out and made the stay extra comfortable. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a great variety of delicious options to start the day right. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for excellent service, great food, and a clean, welcoming environment plus just a minute away from nearest train station.

Good location, it’s closed to subway Kaohsiung station. Room is enough space for 4 persons. But I don’t like bathroom as it’s always wet all around when you take shower in bathtub 🛁 It would be good to improve this point. Check-in by machine at 2 p.m. but you can leave luggage with staff. If I visit Kaohsiung, I will stay here for sure.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I really want to recommend this place. All the hotel staff were very friendly, and the location is excellent with easy access to everywhere, close to the train station. Although the building is old, it has a traditional charm and is well-maintained with excellent cleanliness. The service was perfect, and it made my trip to Taiwan the best it could be. I highly recommend it!

My second time staying here, perfect location right beside kaohsiung station, only the construction site right beside the hotel starts early morning, breakfast is rather simple, ended right on time 10:00am, not even a second more, didn’t provide enough food as most of the plates are empty for people who arrived half an hour before they shut down. Booked a penthouse for 2 pax and got upgraded to a 4 pax room, but with amenities for only 2, the aircon cannot be adjusted to desired temperature and when I asked for another blanket there’s a surcharge of 100nt. which I never encountered to any of the hotels around taiwan, only at the hospitals.

The location is close to Kaohsiung Station and easy to find! There is a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, and there is also a 24-hour refrigerator and drinks in the lobby. The environment is peaceful! There is enough food for breakfast and the room is tidy! The rent is reasonably priced and you can walk to the nearby Jilin Street Night Market!
