Qibla Tozabog
"The owner offers a free shuttle service to the ancient town, just remember to contact them in advance. The room was spacious, came with a bathtub, and breakfast was included. Although it's a ten-minute walk from the ancient city, the excellent service and shuttle made up for it. Overall, it was a good stay, and there were quite a few foreigners around, which felt safe."
Arkanchi Hotel ★★★★
"Hotel was located just less than 100m from the minaret. Hotel reception was super helpful and rooms were clean"
Muso to'ra ★★★
"Everything else was fine, except that the ventilation in my double room relied entirely on a small window on the door, which was several meters away from the outside. The odor inside couldn't dissipate at all. If this is a major concern, please carefully consider whether to book. I don't think every room is like this; my room just happened to be in that location."
Turon Khiva
"The hotel has a superb location right in the heart of the old town. The view from the terrace is stunning. The staff are very attentive. The room is decorated in a traditional style. I was worried that the room being next to reception would be noisy, but it wasn't a problem at all. There are no slippers or a dental kit in the room, but everything else is provided: a hairdryer, kettle, soap, and shampoos. We had an early check-out, and they even prepared a lunchbox for us."
Islambek Khiva ★★★
"A wonderful hotel in the heart of the old city, inside the Ichan Kala fortress, with all the sights within walking distance. Highly recommended."
Darvaza Boutique Hotel Khiva ★★★★
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent from the very beginning: the staff was always kind, professional, and helpful. The hotel is new, modern, and extremely clean, with great attention to every detail. The location is also perfect, very close to the city walls and convenient for visiting the main attractions. We also really enjoyed the massage experience, which was pleasant and deeply relaxing after a long day of exploring. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service!"
Hotel Euro Asia Khiva in Ichan Qala ★★★
". Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The hotel is well-maintained and has a safe and secure environment. Staf"
Twins Hotel Khiva
"The property is located in the historic city center. The terrace offers a beautiful panoramic view of the minarets and historic walls. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast room is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a wide selection of international and Uzbek dishes. The breakfast is also suitable for celiacs."
Khayatt Inn Hotel
"The hotel is located outside the old city walls, but just 500-700 meters away. It's clean, there's a hot shower, and air conditioning. No kettle. No breakfast either. But the price is reasonable. The owner is polite and accommodating. It's very quiet around here."

Hotel Khiva Palace
"This hotel is deplorable. There's no water to wash with, neither in the evening nor the morning, the pool is empty, the rooms are dirty, the beds aren't made, the trash isn't emptied, the breakfast is mediocre, and the staff are unresponsive and lazy. My advice: don't go there."
Asia Khiva
"A solid 4 star stay in a great location, just outside the South Gate. No old city entrance tickets though are sold there during the day; so you have to walk around to the West Gate; even if on a tour. The hotel has multiple blocks and is quite spread out. Professional and efficient check in for our Adventures Abroad tour group. A large, well set up, std room. All very clean. Wi-fi worked well in the room. The usual for UZB very firm mattress and firm pillows; which we find very pleasing. Also typical is the shower over the bath with thus a high step over edge. Minimal hot water at times though. The room safe in room #129 was not securely attached; so we did not use it. Why supply it if it cannot be better managed for international travelers? The room window could be opened but being on the ground floor, we closed it when out of the room. There was an efficient, split air con system. Breakfast was only fair with very minimal fruit still available by 8 am but various kinds of machine made coffee could be ordered as part of the stay rate. Our shower curtain rail kept falling down. Thin and scratchy towels. Our king sized bed only had a queen sized quilt, which was just too small."
GRAND VIZIR
"I stayed three nights in this hotel with a group tour. It was not the (better) hotel advertised on our itinerary so I suppose I may have started off biased. The hotel is located just within the walls of old Khiva. It is only about 10 minutes walk from the centre of the unique old town, in what seemed like a residential area. You need ask for a good map with the location marked on it to find it on the way back (local people can't tell you the way)! Our rooms were small and very basic. One fellow traveller said this was the sort of hotel she had stayed in when she was a student but not the sort she wanted to stay in now we are retired. I think that was a good assessment. The en suite bathroom was small and a bit smelly. Beds were not great. They didn't even put the duvets in their covers for you! The view from the window was into the windows of a house nextdoor. There is a roof terrace which you can sit on and see the sunset. They have tables and chairs but have not made any attempt to make it attractive. Breakfast was not plentiful and very ordinary. Some unsmiling staff had to be asked repeatedly for more milk to go with the instant coffee: they put about 50 ml out at a time in a small sauce boat! Staff on reception were not very helpful. They had refrigerated beer, water and wine for sale but beware: you can only buy wine by the bottle, not by the glass and you have to pay cash for it. In fact you have to pay cash for everything - they had no card payment facility. So, very basic but within walking distance of the main sights."
Bibihojar Hotel
"Great location. Good service. They speak both Russian and English. Hearty breakfast. Wonderful hotel. The hotel's phone number listed on Trip.com is out of service."
New Minor Hotel
"The hotel is located inside Ichan Qal’a. It is new, modern, and very comfortable. The breakfast is good, and the hotel offers beautiful views. It also features a rooftop terrace where guests can relax and enjoy the scenery."
Anor Qal'a
"Nice and small hotel near the atteactions."
Islambek Hotel & Travel
"The hotel is in a good location, located under the east wall of the ancient city of Khiva, with convenient parking, suitable for self-driving travel. The hotel has good sanitary conditions and a good breakfast. It is very convenient to visit the ancient city. The ancient city scenic area is on the right when you go out. The area of the twin room is larger than described, more than 15 square meters, and there is also a large table in the room, which is very convenient for placing things. Overall, this is a very good value for money hotel."
Annex Hotel Khiva
"Although it was a little far from the tourist center, the host was kind, the room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options."
