"My room next to the front desk didn't use a card key, so it took some effort to open and close the door. Every time I struggled with it, a staff member from the front desk would come and help me open and close the key. In the evening, I had the rooftop terrace all to myself with a juice in hand. It's also conveniently close to the main attractions of Ichon-Qala, so I could easily pop back to the hotel for a quick break. Whenever I had a small problem, the staff were immediately there to help. I'm truly grateful for all their assistance. I highly recommend this place!"

"The best hotel in this area. Reasonable and rich breakfast. Clean and big rooms. Small but warm swimming pool. Friendly personal. It's better to get a taxi to reach the old town (worth seeing) - unexpectedly cheap."

Zukhro Boutique Hotel
"I booked this charming little hotel for the view from its terrace. Be warned, the view no longer matches the photos, as another terrace has been built right in front, spoiling the view. The welcome was friendly, but I had to ask several times for shower gel, a bath mat, and a sheet large enough to cover the bed. The hotel provides one bottle of water upon arrival; subsequent bottles are chargeable. The bathroom is in dire need of renovation; the faucets were rusty, and our friends had no hot water on their first day. The breakfast served on a tray on the terrace was underwhelming. Unfortunately, Zukhro Boutique will not be the best hotel of our trip."

"Firstly - Twins Hotel in Khiva, is in Uzbekistan, not in Spain as Trip Advisor seems to think? Bit of a difference. Great hotel, easy check-in, English spoken at reception. Spotlessly clean white rooms, good bathroom, very efficient aircon, which will be essential in summer. Good breakfast with hot and cold options. Location is perfect for walking to the old city sites, especially at night when it is all beautifully lit up."

"The friendly guy at the front desk told me the view from the 3rd-floor balcony was great. The sunset over the city walls and the sunrise from the opposite side were incredibly beautiful, and people walking along the nearby walls were looking at me with envious eyes. The room was clean, and it was only about a 5-minute walk to the main square of Ichan Kala, so there were no problems at all. Also, I recommend taking photos of Ichan Kala at sunset. The illumination and deep blue are very beautiful. Be sure to check it out before dinner."

"It is located about 5 minutes walk from Ichankara West Gate. If you don't mind staying in Ichankara, it's conveniently located near the west gate. It was a family-run hotel full of hospitality. The hotel was clean as I had to change into indoor shoes, and the room was clean and comfortable. At breakfast, I had a delicious meal while my eldest son taught me how to eat delicious food. The owner is also a travel agent, and we chartered a taxi to Bukhara via Ayazkara, which was recommended by the owner. We didn't have much time at Ayazkala because we left Khiva after 3pm, but the view of the sunset over the desert from Ayazkala was irresistible. I would like to stay here again when I go to Khiva."

"Conveniently located between the train station and the old town. Opposite is an amusement park and a large shopping center. The design is good, but many things didn't work: the TV and phone in the room. The courtyard is undergoing renovations. There are problems with hot water in the mornings. Apparently, the single boiler isn't big enough for everyone. Good breakfast. Very welcoming and friendly staff."
