Excellent stay! No complaints. Rooms were clean, halls were quiet, all offered amenities were available. Would absolutely stay here again. Holiday Inn Express probably has the best breakfast in the industry. This is located near the famous McKay’s, a huge used books, music, and video game and collectibles store. Also about a six minute drive to UT Medical Center.

I travel to Knoxville about every other week. I have started staying at this location becasue the IHG booked UT for the entire year. This property is conveniently located off the interstate and has several food choices near by plus a bar and restaurant on-site. But the best part is the willingness to make your stay the best you can have by the staff. Every single person I have interacted with has gone above and beyond and have kept me coming back. Great property overall.

The stay itself was ok. No breakfast due to the pandemic but people outside and in smoking areas were not worried about the pandemic. The outside areas weren't very clean at all, drug baggies, pipe packaging, just another east tn thing. Unfortunately.

It’s always a gamble booking a budget friendly hotel. This was more expensive than I’d have liked to pay for one night, however the hotel seems newly renovated and was very clean and modern. The room we received was clean, smelled clean, and the bed and pillows were comfy. Our bathroom was bright and spotless with new fixtures. Clive, at the front desk, was very friendly and helpful and offered us some bottled water which I think is because I’m a Hilton member. We were also permitted to roll our expensive bikes into the room which was a relief to not have to leave them locked on the bike rack in the parking lot overnight. Overall, I was very impressed.

Great staff….friendly, helpful folks that desire to make one’s stay as nice as possible. I was offered a couple of bottles of water,for the road, at checkout. A cheery come see us again sendoff. We loved the cooked to order breakfast too! Orlando whipped up a couple of excellent omelets from the kitchen and we were served plenty of hot coffee. Again, friendly service! Our room was clean and quiet; public spaces were decorated nicely, well lit and welcoming.

GGuest UserThis was our best hotel stay in ages. We were checked in by Natalie, who was friendly, helpful, and just fun. She made sure to get us a quiet room and made sure we were clear on how to get to our evening's destination. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. The wifi took a bit of finagling to get connected, but once we got it connected, it stayed connected and worked well. We slept soundly and comfortably, waking up refreshed. Check out went smoothly. We'll return if possible.

But since services, like the hot breakfast buffet had to be cut back due to Covid-19 restrictions, this hotel adjusted the nightly charge. So I got a studio apartment with a fully equipped kitchen for a week. Loved the staff. Very professional as well as generous. Within walking distance to Walmart and restaurants.

GGuest UserFirst of all let me say the smell when you walk in that greets you is curry. To the point it burns your nose. Certain parts of the hall smelled like a litter box. Rooms needed updated. Barely hot water with no pressure. The mattress was outdated. Would only stay if no other place available.

CCumbrianlad86Upon arriving at the BW we should of know this wasn't going to be ideal. Very quiet car park, reception area vet unkempt. Checked in and had a walk around, Pool Area is disgusting, unclean and very unsafe. AC units in rooms falling to bits and very noisy. Cracks in sinks, mouldy shower curtain. Plus smelled like they had cleaned with TCP. Beds very uncomfortable and lumpy. Breakfast...well paper plates.. New food piled on old... paper cups and not a table wiped down. Was suppose to be here for 3 nights.. checked out and moved on! Would not reccomend
