I recently stayed at Forte Kochi in India and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful location, with a private courtyard pool that adds to the serene atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and made for a relaxing stay. With plenty to do nearby, we truly enjoyed our time and would gladly return.

This is a beautiful, niche, local high-end brand hotel with Portuguese style. Although the hotel was almost full when I checked in, all my requests, big and small, (including changing rooms twice because I was afraid of noise) were met. On the night of arrival, I dined by the pool while enjoying local traditional dance music, and the candlelight was a special experience. All the staff were very friendly and professional. With the meticulous care of the newly appointed chef, I had a delicious breakfast for several days. Afterwards, the unfinished fruit plate was also delivered to the room for free. Figure 3 is a 200-year-old Jewish healing spring, and many Jews still come here to soak. The hotel is in a very convenient location, with various shopping and attractions just outside. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the beach.

We stayed at Forte Kochi for the weekend. The hotel is 1.5 hours away from Kochi international airport. Located in the heart of old town near Chinese fishing nets making it immensely popular with guests. We were warmly welcomed at the reception and our check in was a breeze Our room was a gorgeous mix of old world charm and modern luxury amenities. Colourfully tinted windows, solid wooden furniture, and large, inviting four poster beds take your breath away at first sight and transport you to colonial India. Their in house restaurant offers cozy indoor seating and ample varieties in veg and non vegetarian dishes to choose from and had a nice mix of Indian and foreign guests. Take a dip in their gorgeous swimming pool with pool decks to laze around. Their morning heritage walk was refreshing and took us down memory lane and shouldn’t be missed. We had a lovely stay experience

Fort Cochin must visit place when you are at Ernakulam, had been many times but this time with family including 2 kids, by Water metro or local water transport you can reach fort cochin , Jews street ,Mattanchery palace, beach , streets are awesome

Lovely hotel with kind and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay immensly. The hotel is decorated beautifully. Our room was large and clean. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the outings arranged by the hotel. It was nice to take a refreshing dip in the pool after a morning of sightseeing and then enjoy some teatime snacks. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, the food is amazing and the staff are fantastic. Please try the spa/massage during your stay because it is truly recommended. We had our best time in there and will definitely visit again. Please don’t forget to try their chai and coffee as well.

Forte Kochi Hotel is the perfect blend of size (just 27 well-appointed rooms), amenities (a restaurant and bar, a beautiful swimming pool and a spa) and location (on Princess Street, right in the heart of Fort Kochi). But what makes the place so special are the staff: they are warm, welcoming, thoughtful and always willing to help. Some places just leave their mark on you and make it hard to say goodbye. Fort Kochi Hotel is one of those places.

The property has a beautiful ambiance with great service. It was a lovely stay. Every corner is aesthetically pleasing with easy access to the beautiful streets of Fort Kochi. I would highly recommend staying here. Special mention for Krishnadas, Shilpa, and Jayachandran who were professional and welcoming.

We loved this hotel. Old and historic building with a fantastic spa (Shilpa is amazing) and terrific food (the grilled prawns were unbelievable). Breakfast was great with lots of variety. Some staff are a little inexperienced but it didn’t matter, they are all so friendly and helpful. Pool area is really nice and the free afternoon chai and snacks was a lovely bonus. Easy walking to the Chinese fishing nets. Definitely recommended.
