"Went for 2 days, and staff didn't understand me. Rooms were dirty and there was only one staff at breakfast making food and taking orders. Pool was dirty. It took an hour for me to wait for prawns because he didn't understand what I said. Food was fine . The electricity kept turning on and off and they ran out of water while I was taking a shower. Next time I won't be coming here and it overrated."

"Thanks to the amazing George at the Ginger House Museum Hotel who made my last week in India a magical mystery tour. They only had 4 nights available so I was at a quandary of what to do with my first 4 nights. I started scouting around but George came out of the blue to the rescue. Before I knew it he had sorted out 3 perfect nights by the lake at Kumarakom and one lovely night on boat in the backwaters, all the taxi transfers and all for a very good price. But the incredible service didnt stop there, once I got to the fabulous hotel I was greeted by the owner Manju and the lovely Martin. The concern and care the team offered was amazing. This boutique hotel is exquisitely decorated with many of the antiques from the museum but is an eclectic mix of modern with even an electric toilet and an electric shower in the ensuite bathroom! Modern glass window from the bathroom to the King size bedroom *they don't seem to have anything small! For me there is no where else quite like this hotel. Room 101 on the ground floor is the biggest finest, hotel suite ever! Nothing is too much trouble, they organized tickets for a cultural dance show, plus the tuktuk to see me safely there and back. Right in the heart of the Jewish Quarter with all its lovely shops, yet totally quiet at night."

"Stayed for one day with two rooms for my family (wife and parents). While the hotel has a slightly old-fashioned style, it is spacious and ideal for a family stay. The housekeeping service was exceptional—friendly, professional, and attentive. My family and I were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness and care provided. The reception staff was also friendly and supportive. However, parking facilities need improvement. I faced challenges parking my Toyota Hycross, and some security personnel seemed indifferent to whether we were hotel guests. The breakfast was great, and we enjoyed all the options. A suggestion for the management: please add more staff at the egg counter to manage orders, as I noticed some frustration in that area. A humble request to prioritize parking spaces for hotel guests. Overall, a good choice, and I’m happy with my stay!"

Any request or query was handled promptly and professionally Overall, it was a refined and memorable experience.
