Do not book the standard rooms the cleanliness of the bathrooms is terrible. I complained and a day later they moved me to a superior room which was much nicer. Book a superior room. Staff were friendly. Resort it self is lovely right on the beach. On the main ***** of restaurants and bars. 3 min walk to lamai night market. Overall decent place to stay. beautiful beach. It is just. Watersports activities available.

Standard rooms are ok but not the best

It’s good location and we have nice villa, but cleaning there is so so, also 5 pm everything stop working. Reception, restaurant, beach access, service. It’s ridiculous! Cuz you are in vacation. And it’s terrible terrible wi fi. If you need to work there sometime - forget about that.

Very beautiful green area, close to the sea. We stayed at this hotel for the first time in 2009, decided to stay here again for a week. The superior rooms in the building have not been renovated since then, so the horror is terrible - an unreal smell of mustiness and sewage. The rooms are a two. The rest is fine, no questions asked.

The hotel is old, but that's what makes it romantic)) very green, beautiful pool with palm trees, good breakfast. Cons - uncomfortable shower, I fell in the bathroom, very slippery. Dust under the bed. Otherwise, everything is good. It's more profitable to book through the app - on site the price is almost twice as high.

It is next to Lamai Beach, but it is quite difficult to get there if you don't rent a motorbike. Taxi fares there are quite expensive. But if you want to stay in the Lamai area, I recommend this place. The price is not expensive, suitable for the room, there is a swimming pool, and it is next to the sea. The room is not very new, but it is not too old.

Excellent hotel on the beach at a reasonable price. They do good massages on the territory, there is a bar. Most of all I liked the gorgeous pool with a view of the sea. We will definitely come again.

Cool pool Location is great Rooms would benefit from a great renovation

The Weekender is a beautiful, older hotel on the most beautiful stretch of beach in Lamai. Rooms come in different categories. We opted for a superior room with a garden view and got a nice room on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately, we soon discovered that the air conditioning wasn't working properly. Even after an hour, the room had only cooled down by 2 degrees, and at 32 degrees, that's not exactly a pleasant temperature for the night. So we were quickly moved to the same building. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in this room worked just as well, or in our case, badly, as in the first room. After some back and forth, we got an upgrade to a villa. Everything was perfect here with a new and powerful air conditioning system. The complex is very beautifully designed and there are several great pools. The stretch of beach is very beautiful and you can swim very well here even at low tide. Breakfast was not offered as a buffet, but as a set. You can choose two from various sets. The sets were of great quality and generously sized. The service in the restaurant was very attentive and we were treated to lots of little things like fruit, pastries, coffee, juices, etc. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the hotel wasn't too crowded. Our conclusion is mixed. A great hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Unfortunately, it seems that not enough is invested in the maintenance of the technical systems. That's a shame, because the hotel could position itself even better here.

Wonderful resort. Everything was top notch. Clean rooms and daily cleaning. Friendly staff and delicious breakfasts with a free buffet. Excellent, wonderful, thank you! Prosperity to the hotel!
