Hotels in Lamai Beach, Koh Samui

We spent our time on the island in this hotel. Very friendly staff with a complimentary drink upon arrival. Rooms are spacious with a big balcony to enjoy the view. Pool is big and very refreshing after a long day of walking. Beach is very pretty as well and a nice place for a walk. Good place to relax. Small convenience store in walking distance, not masses of restaurants around, but Ubers are easy to get. Breakfast was ok, nothing amazing, but staff was friendly and helpful.

There was a bit of confusion as I made a last minute late evening booking, but C trip sorted them out and the owner sent the staff down to check me in. I had stayed in the main building previously, but took a bungalow behind the street front. It was spacious, medium size fridge, nice bed, AC was a bit old but did its job. It was quiet from the few bars on that end of Lamai. I would stay again, but book a bit earlier during their business hours.

Everything about this Hotel is good! Chi chi was an amazing receptionist and greeted me a warm welcome! Also she gave me many valuable advice! Room was very spacious! There's nothing i can say wrong about them. Also i rented scooter from them very smoothly without giving passport as deposit just by paying the price! Also booked taxi to the pier from them very easily! Loved this hotel! Its on a strategic location beach is near! 7/11 is near! Totally i will recommend this hotel and i would stay again!

Great location by the beach with fantastic view of the sunset. The room and areas around the property are clean. Staff are friendly and the food in the restaurant is good with reasonable prices in the area. I had the breakfast package, the breakfast buffet is simple and adequate but would benefit from more choices. The downside is the room itself which is compact and basic, the mattress is a bit firm for me but you may like that. The bathroom has some design flaws but you can work around that like when showering, remove the toilet paper from the holder so it doesn’t get wet as the shower head points directly at it. All in all, a nice stay away from the noise of the popular areas. The picture is the view from the poolside.

There are no questions about the location, the first line. Breakfast is meager, with a choice of two sets, the taste of the dishes differs from cook to cook. We took a villa with a jacuzzi (VIP 1): there is a shared jacuzzi for 5 villas. In 2 weeks they removed it 3 times. In fact, none of the guests used this extra option when choosing a place to stay. The villa is spacious, great for a family. Two separate toilets with showers. The glass in the cabins was washed for the last time, apparently for photography; at the time of arrival there was a decent layer of lime, which no one tried to wash. Setting up the water for a comfortable shower is a separate quest; there is no setting as such: either ice or boiling water. In principle, they were cleaned quite well, except for the fact that on one Sunday none of the staff was at work and all the villas were not cleaned. Linen is changed upon request. The location is top notch, carefully spread out villas throughout the little jungle, beautiful. Gorgeous views, restaurant located on the top of a cliff, fresh fruit available for breakfast, they have shows and many touristic opportunities to be explored, flyers available at reception.

Do not book the standard rooms the cleanliness of the bathrooms is terrible. I complained and a day later they moved me to a superior room which was much nicer. Book a superior room. Staff were friendly. Resort it self is lovely right on the beach. On the main ***** of restaurants and bars. 3 min walk to lamai night market. Overall decent place to stay. beautiful beach. It is just. Watersports activities available.

Good location, cheap, close to miniS. We lived in a superior room, it was quite spacious, the refrigerator was average, not the smallest, the bed was 180 cm. Cleaning came at lunchtime. Among the shortcomings: the area is a bit dirty, but the pool is clean, everything is old, but ok. What I didn’t like was the quality of the bed linen - it was in pellets and sewn, made of polyester, there was no duvet cover at all, but the blanket smelled clean. The door to the balcony is heavy and gets stuck

Great location, quiet place, next to the beach, nice beach, recommended for who are looking for swimming in the sea,I was selected pool access room that was great room, large area with the big bath tub and easy to assess to the pool, in this hotel have 2 swimming pools that comfortable for family or group of friends, staffs all friendly and helpful.

It should be said right away that in addition to the Bungalow, there is a second hotel across the road, it is newer and works together with the Bungalow. The Bungalow hotel is older, but very conveniently located. The beach is a two-minute walk away. The beach has everything you need - a shower, toilet, sun loungers. On the way to the beach, there is a cafe owned by the owner of the Bungalow. The prices are low compared to the prices on Samui. The owner is always ready to help. For breakfast, he treated my wife and me to sweet food. Sometimes the owner has conflicts with tourists who do not check into the hotel, but use the hotel territory to go to the beach. Do not be afraid of this, everything is quickly resolved. The new hotel has a swimming pool, water is provided daily. Cleaning is carried out as needed, there were no problems with this. The hostess is very hospitable, only positive memories remain. As for the location, there is a 7/11 store opposite, which is very convenient. Also nearby is a clinic, a laundry, a cafe for every taste.
