Very nice Villa.
Full of natural vibe.
So many tree surrounding the area.
All the staffs are very welcoming and friendly.
It has 1 restaurant in the hotel. But it is also very easy to walk along the beach to reach W hotel for OTHER restaurant.
only thing is the room is very humid, there are some moth' eggs in the toilet room. It would be great if dehumidifier is provided in the room.
Tv cannot do screen mirror with my mobile phone.
It wouls be great if this can be considered.
Room has very nice view on the hill.

Strengths:
1. Spacious rooms, interesting furniture, privacy.
2. Design of common areas: greenery, fountains, infinity pool, quality sun loungers, private beach club, beautiful restaurant.
3. Overall good service, but not super friendly.
4. Conveniently, all purchases on the hotel premises can be charged to the room account and paid upon check-out.
Weak sides:
1. The room was not ready for check-in at 14:00: they did not have time to clean the room while they were fixing the problem with the bathroom. As an apology, a coupon for a soft drink for 60 baht. Not enough.
2. Mediocre food in the restaurant: there is a small selection for breakfast, the usual set of products, similar to 3* hotels. Lunch and dinner are long waits, relatively high prices, but the quality is about the same as in nearby restaurants, the service is long even in the absence of other customers.
3. Remote location from shops and restaurants - you have to walk a lot, it’s unsafe to leave the hotel in the evening, there are a lot of dogs and there is no proper lighting on the streets (this is not a problem for the hotel).
4. On the second day of our stay, one of the air conditioners broke down. They fixed it in an hour, but it was unpleasant.
5. An amazing situation with slippers to wear in the room - usually they are disposable for each guest, here they demanded to return them because they wash them. Unhygienic and weird.

I would recommend it without hesitation. We stayed in a pool room. The staff is very attentive and friendly, the location is great since you are 5 minutes by motorcycle from Fisherman's Village and the facilities are well maintained and clean. It is a good option if what you are looking for is comfort and tranquility.

We traveled with two children, 14 and 11 years old. We stayed for one night on November 27. I will immediately make a reservation about the weather - November is not the time to visit Samui and especially Phangan, if you are planning a beach holiday, because at this time it is cloudy and there are big waves, we were on different beaches there and there. The hotel itself made a very good impression! Service, territory, cleanliness, everything is great! We had dinner at the hotel, this is the first time during our two-week tour of different hotels, and it was the right decision, delicious! Breakfast is also very good! Not a huge variety, but more than enough for breakfast. They helped us organize a transfer to Phangan, thank you very much! One wish about the pillows, very hard, at least one of the two softer)))) we will be happy to come back and not for one night! Thank you.

The hotel's external environment is very good, not crowded, and the beach is finer and wider than other neighboring hotels.
The room has good privacy, and the pool room was upgraded for free. It is clean and tidy. There will be staff to light aromatherapy and mosquito coils. The room is very fragrant, and there are not many mosquitoes at the door. All toiletries are from Panpuri.
Several restaurants feel pretty good, and the breakfast variety and taste are OK. The Western food at the beach bar and the Thai food at sala tai are both very fragrant. Although the price is much more expensive than that of restaurants outside, it is only more than 200 per person. The in Villa BBQ reserved tastes good and the quantity is sufficient.
The hotel service is the best. You can make reservations for various activities and meals by calling or using the APP, and the response is very quick. The staff will take the initiative to say hello and are very enthusiastic, just like the service of the Maldives Island Resort Hotel. The staff will give mosquito coils and indoor aromatherapy, clean the swimming pool, and send Spring Festival cards.

Really lovely resort, right on the beach front. Comftable rooms, very clean and modern. Staff friendly and helpful.
Location is ok, have to get a taxi to most places though.
Pool was alittle dirty on our visit but we just used the beach instead.
I would stay again though. Great value for money.

I was attracted by the hotel restaurant at first sight, so I placed an order. When I arrived, I found that the view was really great. It was close to the sea and had a sense of the Mediterranean.
The hotel is small and beautiful, quiet, with a swimming pool. When swimming, the waiter will ask if you want free drinks.
Half of the breakfast is self-service, usually ordered, and the eggs and desserts are good.
The staff are very warm and friendly. The location is close to the night market in the small fishing village, and it is very convenient to rent a motorcycle.

It’s been a week since I stayed here at the Explorar and I’m still thinking about the incredible breakfast!
On arrival, the team were so friendly and accommodating. During check in we were served a fresh cool jasmine scented face towel accompanied by a young coconut and some local coconut rum. It was such a nice touch.
The room was very lovely and the facilities were excellent. We stayed in the private plunge pool room and it was a great addition.
The location is very convenient. We were able to book two scooters at the hotel to use during the stay, which I highly recommend.
The hotel pool and bar are not to be missed.

GGuest UserBefore departure, I looked for reviews of this hotel online, but there were very few. I found out that there were really few people in the hotel, and I could only meet some guests during breakfast.
Fortunately, when I arrived on the first night, the front desk told me that there would be a performance on the beach at 8 o'clock, and I didn't miss it (because there are only performances on Thursday nights every week, and the hotel only has a seafood buffet on Thursday nights. I don't know why it is Thursday, not on weekends). The iron flower performance is very good, and there is no need to go to the W Hotel or the Internet celebrity restaurant.
The hotel room is a small villa, and each room can see the sea. It is very convenient to be arranged in the room closest to the front desk. The room looks like a building many years ago, but it is well maintained. I like the feeling of stepping on the wood, and there will be a creaking sound. It looks like a small villa by the sea!
The original ecological hotel is accompanied by various small animals. There will be strange sounds outside the room in the middle of the night.
The sand on the beach is coarse particles. It is much more convenient to walk with beach shoes. There are no people on the beach. Very quiet!
The hotel is in a small alley next to the main road. Walk through the alley, turn left and right, and walk about 10 minutes. There is a supermarket. But I didn't dare to eat in the small restaurant. I ordered food at the hotel or went to the Fisherman's Village. The hotel has its own APP, which will help you install it when you check in. It is very convenient to make reservations for spas, order food, and call a taxi.

The sun and natural shade from the trees. We stayed in a bungalow overlooking the sea. The house is on the first line with a stunning view of the sea!!! Large terrace. You leave the room, sleep on the terrace and you are already on the beach!!!))) An amazing feeling!!! We stayed for 3 days!!! Niaz did not have to dress up in clothes))) only swimming trunks))) You open the curtains and lying on the bed enjoy the view of the sea!!!))) It is very convenient that the house has a tap with water, where you can wash your feet after coming from your ”own” beach))) Within walking distance of the street with cafes and massage parlors. Nearby 7-11!!! But none of this is needed, since the hotel has its own cafe. Excellent inexpensive food. But the fact that you sit right on the sea and eat - I am ready to pay more))) I would especially like to note the owners of the hotel!!! Very attentive and responsive people!!! You can get help around the clock. They solve ALL the issues very quickly. If you want an extra towel, a kettle or your own sun lounger - PLEASE!!!))) During the day they are constantly in the cafe, within reach and always ready to communicate. One of the owners is called Hell, but despite this name it seemed to us that we visited Paradise!!!))) Of the negative points, we can note the deterioration of the room stock - everything is quite old and not modern. The lack of fresh repairs did not make our vacation bad!!! Another disadvantage is that at 9 p.m. active life ends. Everything closes and there is no one on the beach. But this is probably also good and many note it as a positive point))) Rest, relaxation, silence and the sound of the sea!!! You can superimpose this forever and remember it for a long time))) If you want such sensations - try it, relax and you will fall in love with this place!!!

Enjoyed lovely early morning swims across the bay ( I am a long distance swimmer so it was great from this point of view, down some steps and you are into deepish water to start your swim). Lovely sundowner and dining/brekky spot. Would definitely stay again

But regarding this hotel, I would like to comment on it. It is convenient for Chinese people to refer to. The following reviews are purely personal experience: 1. The front desk guy was very good at check-in, very happy when staying. 2, the bedroom on the right does not know if there is no change of bedding (pure personal opinion) some sand, indoor lighting is dark, let the old public mobile phone flashlight, the sheets are wrinkled and stained, we switched to the left room, here Very clean and very comfortable, I am glad that it is two bedrooms. 3. When I was having breakfast the next day, I couldn’t smile at the European and American guests. When I arrived at us, I was full of face. It’s even more sad that my husband had a small donkey because there were a few guests next to it. OOlga KurkinaAn excellent hotel for a relaxing holiday. Excellent location on Maenam Beach, with access to the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff and manager. When booking, I didn’t know that we would be accommodated in a house with access to the sea, it’s great. The house has all the amenities for a modest holiday: clean linen, a large bed, a mattress (a bit hard, but even my tired back felt good), a fan, a refrigerator, an air conditioner, a hanger and hangers, a mirror and a nightstand. The house is small, partly outdated, no mold. One free socket is a minus. There are ants on the porch, I used a mosquito coil in the evening. The downside is that there are no garbage bags)/ but on the other hand, less plastic is used. Minus: there is no bucket in the bathroom. There is a rope stretched across the porch - that's a plus. The hotel area becomes quiet very early; at 20:00 it is already dark and quiet. If you are planning a noisy, riotous holiday, then this is not the hotel for you; families with children and pensioners hang out here. On-site parking. The sea is almost always calm, the depth is good, the sand is excellent. 3 min walk, laundry, cafe, small shops, moped rental. At 15 minutes, market. I like it

AAnna_43Convenient location of the hotel. Beach, shops, mini-market - everything within walking distance. Rooms are cleaned daily, staff is friendly. The only downside is that there is a lot of garbage under the windows in the yard, so there is no desire to look out of the windows.
But otherwise a very decent hotel for the money! We stayed here twice during our trip to Samui.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, but the hotel itself is practically abandoned - the impression that the owners are no longer interested in the hotel business. The territory is launched, on the garden site now hydroponica, where salad and something like that are grown. Cleaning once every three days if lucky, but it is often forgotten, even if reminded in the morning. Restaurant is no longer, so eat somewhere else. Overall, from good - only location. I don't recommend.
