Hotels in Mae Nam Beach, Koh Samui

The decoration and environment of the hotel are very beautiful. The staff are very gentle, warm and polite, and the service is very good. The hotel covers a large area, the room is very large, and it is very comfortable to live in. We brought a filtered shower head, and after using it, I felt that the water quality was better than Bangkok. The hotel is by the sea, very quiet and comfortable, with a private sea area, beautiful sea view, and clean sea water. I personally feel that the restaurant's seafood is delicious. I ate this for two consecutive nights. The restaurant is next to the hotel's private sea area. You can enjoy the invincible sea view while eating. Friends who like comfort are really suitable here. It is economical and enjoyable. Because it is close to the sea and not on the street, it is not particularly convenient to travel, but the hotel can help call a taxi, just contact the front desk directly. The small bar on the right side of the hotel beach is also very good, suitable for punching in. However, the hotel facilities may be a little old, but it does not affect the overall comfortable experience. There is a reservation point for island tours in the hotel lobby, which is convenient for registration. Mr.tu's island tour experience is also very good. In short, Samui Buri Beach Resort Hotel is highly recommended

Convenient location of the hotel. Beach, shops, mini-market - everything within walking distance. Rooms are cleaned daily, staff is friendly. The only downside is that there is a lot of garbage under the windows in the yard, so there is no desire to look out of the windows. But otherwise a very decent hotel for the money! We stayed here twice during our trip to Samui.

The room should have more amenities, such as facial tissues n hair dryer 🥹 Also, there was no telephone in the room. We stayed for only one night and had an issue with the water drain in the shower. We tried calling the phone number on the website, but no one picked up. 🥺 The location was great for spending time on the beach, but we didn’t sleep well last night as the room had a thin wall 😭😭

The hotel is relatively old and the decoration has a sense of history. The location is also relatively remote, that is, it is relatively close to the Mae Nam Pier. It is only a few minutes' walk away. It is convenient to take a boat from this pier. The hotel has its own beach, but the foreigners staying there are quite poor. Once the bath towels are laid out, they occupy all the lounge chairs. They don't use them themselves and don't let others use them. The quality is extremely low.

Overall is this hotel a quite good point to escape. We had a fantastic garden villa with an huge bathroom. Everyone was really kind and friendly. The only thing what they can work on it we would say it should be first of all the service for drinks and food. Normally you should have a eye for your guests probably if you have a happy hour to going around at the pool desk and the location, to offer the promotion. Second they have to make better drinks maybe a cocktail staff training should help. And last but at least they have definitely to work on the service in the waiting time in the restaurant we had to wait more than 1 1/2 hour for Thai food what’s probably is ready in 10 minutes. Don’t get us wrong it’s gonna be a beautiful hotel and you will have a beautiful stay at Koh Samui. It just missing few details to make it perfect.

We vacationed in February. Cozy houses, clean beautiful area. Delicious breakfasts. The beach is clean and cleaned regularly. For me, the minus of the beach is the co**** sand. There are massage parlors and cafes near the hotel. To the evening market and 7/11 minutes 15 minutes on foot. There is a pier nearby, but incoming speedboats do not spoil your vacation. It is very convenient if you need to sail to another island, there is no need to use a taxi, the pier and ticket offices are 2 minutes on foot.

It’s located right behind the beach, very convenient for the morning stroll along the beach. Since we are looking for the lowest deal, we are not expecting much on the amenities. Though the funiture like ceiling lamps, bedside lamps, balcony tables and wall pictures are vintage, the toilet is modern and clean. There’s free parking space for car and motorbike right next to the reception (first photo), a night out to the night market with tuk tuk is also very convenient, around $150 Thai baht for 4 people. But tuk tuk will stop only by the road side, so a 10 minutes walk to the reception and resort rooms is needed.

Honestly, impeccable- book here! Everything about this resort is luxe, clean and professional, there was no fault in our stay. Breakfast is amazing, so many options like western, Thai, pastries, coconuts. Attention to detail in the welcome drinks and treats left in the room. Complimentary shuttle service into town. Restaurant is pricey but delicious and the cocktails are great. There is construction work atm but it wasn’t too bothersome. Lovely to have space carved out for only adults and so the vibe is very relaxed. Service was impeccable by every single staff member we came across. The bed and linen quality will make you never want to leave your bed. Would def book again and recommend.

This hotel is wonderful! From the moment you enter from a busy main rd it is an oasis of calm. The front house staff were very efficient and welcoming. Our garden villa was amazing, huge, big comfy bed, coffee machine, lovely terrace…. Just beautiful. And then we went to the pool… wow, wow, wow it was wonderful. Best sunbeds ever, pool overlooking the ocean, drinks and food service with a smile. The lady who seems to run the pool/restaurant area was incredible… so very hardworking and attentive. There were some cocktail issues but she is working hard to train the new staff. The design of the whole place is so gorgeous. We didn’t want to leave!

We stayed at Escape for one week in the middle of December in the economy apartment style rooms. Pros to our stay: We really enjoyed the KOB restaurant attached to Escape. A wide variety of breakfast options. Thai food was good and between 150-200 baht. Western food was great and between 150-300 baht. The pool is small, but nice. There is a nice view facing out toward the ocean. Escape has an easy access to the ocean and a short walk to neighboring beaches. There is a convenient store in the lobby for cheap drinks and snacks. Cons: The walls of the rooms are paper thin. You can hear your neighbors talking, fighting, and then making up. If you are like me and my girlfriend and you want to suntan, there are limited spaces by the pool. There are a lot of trees over the lounge chairs that block the sun. It is hard to leave escape. It is about a 20 minute uphill walk to the main road. Scooters are not always available to rent. We would stay at Escape again, but in a bungalow style room for more privacy.
