Old furniture, no amenities. The hotel itself might be 5-star, but the room feels more like a 2-star.

Pros Location (inside berjaya mall); helpful staff; decent amenities room had a microwave and sink Cons Unfortunately the room had a very bad cockroach problem. We saw at least 6 or 7 in a matter of hours. The decor and furnishings are also extremely dated and tired (could do with a refresh)

1. first time booking this room, I didn't know that I had to call in to confirm my booking as I had received trip.com booking confirmation. When I arrived at 11pm, I was told that the rooms that I had booked on trip was not available because I didn't call in to confirm by phone. Luckily staff Mohamed managed to help arrange this room instead. 2. You must prepare cash only to pay for this room. Get the agents WhatsApp. No receipt given. Just text confirmation of the payment done. Honestly, I was quite uneasy with such payment arrangement that was not informed to me before hand. 3. There is no concierge for this. I had to call the agent via the trip app to get my keys. 4. The room floor is very dirty. There is a sewage smell. The sheets are dusty. There are not enough bath towels. The curtains are too short to cover the windows.

The location is very strategic, perfect for a family stay. The facilities are good, my only issue was a bit of confusion during the check-in process.

The showerhead was faulty and problematic. I also found cockroaches on the large bed (why are there so many cockroaches in this accommodation?). I was so itchy all over my body from sleeping on the large bed. These accommodation issues weren't resolved for 4 days, which is very bad. The hotel even tried to scam me, saying I needed to pay 200RM by card, then only refunded 100RM (they're con artists!). I'm so angry and unhappy about this.

Fist of all the stay wasn't bad nor excellent. Prior to our travel by 4 days we asked for early check in at 11 am and a highest floor possible 40+ and a pool view but there was no confirmation. We arrived at 11 am, and meet the responsible person at the lobby of east tower berjaya times square apartments, and asked if we can check in earlier than 14:00 , he said in order to check in earlier we have to pay 50 ringet , we accept it as we coming from 18 hour trip with kids, and a deposit of 200 ringet in cash without a bill or return voucher., of course the deposit was returned after checking out. We checked in at 11:30 but the personnel still cleaning for around 15 min. The rooms are specious and clean,but furnitures outdated old and wear and tear carpets from long use. The cleaning services are okay. We didn't use any of amenities pools or gym as was all day out in aqua parks and hanging around. But the pool and amenities are good in hotel. So in general it's ok if you don't mind the old furnitures and wear and tear carpets. The good is the location below of you trade mall and plenty of restaurants and cafes, everything is close to you either metro, taxi and sight seeing. For this price you cold have much better furnetured rooms either in same building or near by. PS: if you plan to keep your luggage with them, then it's a paid service . Regards
