Good hotel, warm welcome from the reception staff, checked in around 11pm, with warm smiles and greetings, professional command of english from the lady.
The lobby looks good, with the calming music.
But up to the floor, cigarette smells also welcoming you, when lift door opened, still need to control and charge penalty to those smokers smoke inside the room.
The bathroom area was in 5-10% brightness near dark, the room lightings also not bright and relax enough, the furnitures are quite run down already, suggest to renovate the lights and the room facilities.
The greetings and hospitality tip top, facilities to be improved.
Overall good one night stay for business traveller.

Meritin Hotel located in the center of Kuching City. It is very convenient and easy to access to food, groceries and other activity. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel room are very clean. We have a great stay.

Love the small welcome note that left in the room by the housekeeping team, small gesture but felt warmly welcomed. Keep up the good work.
Room was clean and cozy, amenities sufficient, only feedback is on the room door, couldn't close on its own hence have to close it manually everytime I went out.
There is this nice Kueh chap just opposite the hotel, must try! And a good bar further to the left opposite the hotel.
Nice location, Good reception, second time I'm back for business trip.

Nice hotel, new and clean. Our room faces the back of the hotel so no noise at all. Room is spacious, clean. Nothing to complain about 3 nights spent at this hotel

strategically located at city center, newly renovated. Friendly reminder: try to avoid rooms facing main road & drawback is soundproofing is not good.
