Its a female only dorm and i really reaally it. A 10minutes walk from Sakaramachi bus station.

This place is like a museum! I imagine it’s a dream come true for many. Love the shower!

Good location and clean

Unparalleled, I have traveled to more than ten countries in Europe, Asia and Africa and stayed in dozens of hostels. "Nakashimaya" is the best, no doubt about it! Only for girls, which makes me feel infinitely safe. The hostess of the B&B speaks fluent English, the dormitory is warm and comfortable, the Japanese-style room can do simple stretching exercises, the kitchenette can meet simple cooking needs, and tea and coffee are self-service, which is great!

A very beautiful and comfortable B&B. The proprietress is very friendly and feels at home. The whole space is very comfortable and the transportation location is also very convenient. I would like to stay in this B&B again next time❤️

A very satisfactory all-female youth hostel. The owner is very gentle and can communicate in English. The tatami room is separated from the corridor by a door but it is very quiet at night. The facilities of the entire youth hostel are very warm and beautiful.

Stayed for three nights in a row, highly recommended. You can communicate with guests from different places, and the facilities and equipment are very complete. If you are going to Kumamoto alone, this is the best place to recommend.

Very satisfied. It made my trip to Japan much more interesting. I met many Chinese people who were traveling alone in the dining room. It is clean, sanitary and safe. It is the best choice for girls traveling alone.

Overall it's pretty good. It was just unfortunate that I met a snoring person and I couldn't sleep the whole night. The rest are good, recommended.

I stayed here on a solo trip. It was conveniently located near a tram stop and a convenience store and supermarket. I slept soundly in the futon on the tatami mat in the room. The antique Hina dolls and other decorations were lovely.

It's really a very, very good B&B. Girls' dormitories are relatively rare, so a girls-only dormitory is such a treasure. The landlady is a very classy sister. The check-in, communication and check-out process are very comfortable and she maintains privacy. The entire building and interior style are an eclectic mix of Western and Western styles. It has a mix-and-match feel like Nagasaki. It is clean and convenient. The wash area is larger than that of ordinary capsule hotels. The wash basin is large and easy to use. The room layout is traditional Japanese style, which is much more down-to-earth than a hot spring hotel. It is highly recommended for tourists outside Japan to experience it.

The cleanliness felt from the entrance and the cutely decorated interior items were pleasing to the eye, and I was able to take a comfortable rest with guidance from the friendly staff. Above all, I was touched by the handwritten welcome letter from the employee that included my name. It was nice to be able to see Kumamoto Castle lit up when you go up to the rooftop. It was a waste to stay for just one day. Next time I go, I will have a few more days to spare.

A wonderful inn with carefully selected interiors. Very clean and well maintained. It's self service but has everything you need. There are a lot of comics in the common room! I read a lot of Jump! (see photo) The pillows were made of buckwheat husks or something so hard that they didn't fit. You can hear the sounds and voices of other guests. The alarm in the room next to me went off at 5:00 in the morning, and I was lacking sleep.
