The stay was beyond our expectations and we fully enjoyed our stay. Everything worked well and host was very friendly to us! Will come again if there's chance

We are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.) Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

Very convenient location, just near Dianchi. Situated among some landed houses. Also got complimentary afternoon tea set. Pretty nice coffee.

The environment is very good, right next to the dam. It is very convenient for walking or strolling. Maybe it was the off-season when we came, and the sanitation and maintenance of the room was worrying. The carpet was dirty, and there was body hair on the towels provided (it is strongly recommended to bring disposable towels when staying in any hotel). Of course, the service is good, but don't expect anything for breakfast. It is recommended to get up early and go out to eat some local specialties.

The boss is very gentle and enthusiastic, and the room is very clean. It is next to Dianchi Lake, in the villa area, the environment is quiet, and it is also very convenient to take the Dianchi Lake Cableway. It is only a short walk from the community, and there are Dianchi Lake Park and Yunnan Nationalities Village, which are very convenient.

We booked 2 rooms for this trip. The homestay is in the villa area, close to the north gate of the Dianchi Lake Cableway. You can see Dianchi Lake when you walk out of the community gate. The rooms are fully intelligent, clean and hygienic. The proprietress's hand-brewed coffee is very good, and the taste of the private dishes is also superb. I will choose her home again next time I come.

The location is very good! Just opposite the Dianchi Lake, you can directly face the Dianchi Lake when you go out! It is also convenient to eat and drink! This is my third time in Kunming. I specially chose a very distinctive inn next to Dianchi Lake, in a villa complex. It is very quiet at night, very comfortable to stay in, and there is a rich breakfast. I especially want to say that the boss has a special taste for furniture, so the furniture is all popular items in the past two years. I love it, I will come to your house next time.

This hotel is really impressive! The villas are unique, spacious and elegant. It is very close to the Battery Haigeng Dam, and you can feed the seagulls when you go out. It is especially worth mentioning that the coffee in the hotel is quite authentic. From the careful selection of coffee beans to the professional grinding and brewing process, every link shows quality!

The homestay is located in a villa area near Dianchi Lake, and the community environment is good. The room has no windows, and it will be stuffy if the air conditioner is not turned on. The ventilation is poor. The whole house is smart, including the smart toilet cover, which is quite practical. The boss lady and the waiter provide good service, and afternoon tea is provided. You can wash and cook by yourself.

The location is very convenient. I chose this place because I was going to Xishan. Opposite is the Haigeng Dam. The whole house is smart, the breakfast is delicious, and the service of the beautiful ladies is even better.

The best choice for a family of three. The child sleeps on a bunk bed. Today he sleeps on the lower bunk and tomorrow he sleeps on the upper bunk. 😀 The location is in a villa community. The shop owner renovated the rooms from the villa. The facilities are complete and each room is different. The Haigeng Dam is right outside the community gate. Go left for 5 minutes to reach the cable car station. It is only a 10-minute walk from the ethnic village. It is convenient.
