Overall, it's quite good. The service was excellent, with no issues, and everything else was satisfactory. Cleanliness: Good. I didn't notice any dirty spots. Location & Ambiance: Beautiful surroundings, excellent location, very close to Xishan Mountain. Facilities: The amenities are not new but are well-maintained and comprehensive.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, being very close to major attractions and making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The environment is pleasant, and everything is very clean. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and housekeeping was always prompt. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

The room was clean, the service was excellent and attentive, and all arrangements were well-handled. Highly recommended.

For our trip to Kunming, we wanted to stay close to Xishan Mountain, and Chama Garden was absolutely an excellent choice. Upon our first visit, though we initially entered through a parking garage, the lobby opened up into a bright, spacious, and tastefully decorated area. The attention to detail was impressive, and the 24-hour butler service was incredibly responsive to all our needs. We booked a family room with a private courtyard and hot spring bath. The room was very spacious and exceptionally clean, and we received a complimentary 'goodnight' dessert every evening. The private hot spring pool was generously sized, and soaking in it while it rained was absolutely wonderful. The large courtyard, complete with a rocking chair, was a huge hit with both adults and children. Along the path leading to the restaurant, we enjoyed breathtaking, unobstructed panoramic views of Dian Lake. The location was also extremely convenient. Stepping out, we were right on Flower Street, bustling with unique local snacks. Just a short walk away were the Xishan Mountain ticket office, the bus station, and Metro Line 3. We stayed for three nights, and while breakfast was included for all three days, the options were a bit limited and repetitive. We hope they can offer more variety in the future.

Our ground-floor room, complete with a private courtyard, was incredibly comfortable, and surprisingly, we didn't encounter any mosquitoes. The surrounding area was also very convenient, boasting numerous artisanal shops, local specialty stores, and a lively snack street, along with play areas for kids. Even the walk to the restaurant was scenic, offering breathtaking views of Dianchi Lake right in front of us. Overall, we were very satisfied with the charming, old-world ambiance of the entire place.

The service was attentive, parking was convenient, and the hotel is ideally located near the scenic spots. The only minor drawback was the breakfast, which was a bit underwhelming. Facilities: The smart speaker (XiaoDu) was available for voice commands throughout the room. Cleanliness: Spotless and odor-free. Environment: Generally quiet, though we did notice some rather loud door-closing noises from the adjacent room. Otherwise, the surroundings were pleasant. Service: Attentive and prompt.

The room is spacious and full of character. The one I booked offers views of Dianchi Lake. I'd love to experience their private hot spring rooms sometime. My butler informed me that the water in my room's bathtub also uses the same mountain spring water as their private hot spring rooms. The public areas are also very beautiful.

This private hot spring retreat was truly excellent. Nestled against Xishan Mountain, it offered expansive views. Soaking in the hot spring, surrounded by the lush greenery of the courtyard, felt incredibly therapeutic and relaxing. The host even provided rose petals, adding a lovely romantic touch. The courtyard, though compact, was very elegant, and it was wonderfully comfortable to sit there and unwind. The room was clean, and it was peaceful at night, allowing for a truly restful sleep. Overall, I was highly satisfied and would definitely return given the chance.

The room, with its private hot tub and dedicated courtyard, offered excellent privacy – perfect for a romantic getaway without any disturbances. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back to stay again! I also really appreciated the bathroom setup: the toilet and shower were separate, and the wash basin was conveniently located outside the main shower area. It’s a design I truly like.

The service here was exceptionally attentive. It's incredibly convenient for dining and exploring. Right upstairs from the front desk, you'll find the lively Tea Horse Flower Street, a whole snack street. A 24-hour 7-Eleven convenience store nearby makes it easy to pick up any necessities. The hotel is perfectly situated right by the Xishan Scenic Area ticket office, making a trip to the Xishan Longmen Grottoes feel like it's just steps away. I even noticed families out hiking well past 10 PM. What's more, despite being a food street within a tourist area, the food here is surprisingly affordable and absolutely delicious. It’s a refreshing change from the overpriced and often mediocre food you find in scenic spots back in Zhejiang. The local cuisine here is genuinely authentic and great value. As I was traveling solo with my child, I needed quite a bit of assistance with luggage and other requests, and the staff were incredibly patient and helpful. On our check-out day, my child unexpectedly fell asleep, and they kindly extended our check-out time to 3 PM. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Kunming.

The room was exceptionally clean, and I really loved its design. The hotel itself is quite expansive, made up of six villas. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. There's also a museum within the hotel complex, featuring some truly beautiful exhibits (I've uploaded photos). I highly recommend this hotel; it offers excellent value for money and is very convenient for visiting local attractions.

I booked this room primarily for its incredibly convenient location right next to Xishan Scenic Area. It's literally just a 2-minute walk to start hiking! The hotel staff even assisted with purchasing tickets for the scenic area, and the front desk team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. From the hotel, you can enjoy direct views of Dianchi Lake. What's more, to reach Haigeng Dam, you can take a scenic cable car from Xishan, which drops you off right across the lake. If you're planning a trip to hike Xishan, this place is absolutely the perfect choice.

The hotel is situated in the Xishan Scenic Area. Just a short walk uphill from the hotel, you'll find Chama Huajie Street, which is essentially a bustling snack street. The food there is affordably priced and quite delicious, and there's even a small milk shop with incredibly fresh and authentic milk. The surroundings outside the hotel are absolutely beautiful, perfect for capturing stunning sunset photos – truly photogenic! Our room also featured a lovely private courtyard where we could sit and enjoy tea. The entire space, including the room and courtyard, felt very spacious and was exceptionally comfortable. The lobby's decor was very stylish and tastefully done, and there's even a charming tea house on-site. Overall, the entire surrounding area is simply beautiful.

My trip to Yunnan was unfortunately plagued by constant gloomy, rainy weather, leaving me quite soaked and weary. However, this hotel proved to be an unexpected and delightful surprise! The public areas are vast, but the absolute highlight is its unparalleled location. Backed by Xishan Mountain and fronting Dianchi Lake, I could admire the misty, ethereal Dianchi from my room. The atmospheric, rain-shrouded vistas lent a truly poetic charm to my journey. The private hot spring tub in the room was an absolute game-changer for me! I could luxuriate in comfort all by myself, with complete privacy and no concern for interruptions. The water temperature was also perfectly adjusted. After a long day of sightseeing, a soothing soak utterly relaxed me. A definite five-star rating is well deserved!
