Nushiyu Ryokan Reviews

The location is perfect, right on the main square. But this ryokan doesn’t ready for foreign travelers, even Signboard only in Japanese. Workers doesn’t speak English also. And there is no kayseki dinner. In the room you’ll have matcha tea and beautiful tableware, traditional clothes. For breakfast you should choose time 7:30 or 8:30 and it’s so big (2 photo), but for me was very salty. There is two onsen - outside and inside on different floors.

A typical Japanese tatami hotel with very good service. The hotel has outdoor and indoor hot springs, but the facilities are simple, with only basic shampoo and shower gel, and no hair dryer. It is very close to Tangyan, and it is convenient to visit nearby attractions.

Very good location, close to Kusatsu Station and Yubata. The hot springs are very comfortable but the bathing location is next to the open-air hot spring pool, just a wooden board, a bit cold when bathing. Dinner was good, delicious. For the price, the character ratio is high.

The dinner was very delicious, the hotel itself is very old, and the stairs to the temple are just outside the window, very noisy, even in the middle of the night. Everything else is fine.
