HOTEL GLOBAL VIEW KUSHIRO ★★★★
"The staff at the reception were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was good. The hotel boasts a fantastic location. The only downside was the room condition; it seems only part of the hotel has been renovated, and unfortunately, our assigned room was one of the unrenovated ones, feeling noticeably old and dated."
Akan Yuku No Sato Tsuruga ★★★★★
"Nice hotel, good services, love its onsen."
Comfort Hotel Kushiro ★★★
"All good. There are free lockers. They provide simple map. Breakfast juice is great."
Hotel Route-Inn Kushiro Ekimae ★★★
"Less than 200 meters away from Kushiro Station, just opposite Kushiro Station, across the street, you can see it when you exit the station. The White Pirika departure station is also in front of Kushiro Station, so it is very close to walk from the hotel. Although it is a budget hotel, the environment and service are not ambiguous. The hotel lobby is large and bright. The front desk clerk speaks simple English, so there is no problem in communication and the service is also very enthusiastic. Because we stayed for 2 consecutive nights, we were asked whether we needed to clean or not when checking in. If you choose not to clean, you will be given a token and you can go to the self-service vending machine on the first floor of the hotel to choose the drinks you want for free. The hotel lobby also provides free coffee. The hotel room is the smallest hotel we stayed in during this trip to Hokkaido. It would be a bit difficult to spread out two suitcases. We spread one at the foot of the bed against the wall in the upper right corner of the room, and the other one behind the door after closing the door. However, although the hotel rooms in Japan are small, the hygiene is good. In addition, the hotel has a bathhouse, which will be informed when checking in. If you think the bathroom in the room is small, you can go to the bathhouse to take a bath or soak in the bath. The hotel will have a "bird wake-up call" service in the morning 😄 The hotel breakfast is self-service, with not many varieties and ordinary taste."
Kushiro Century Castle Hotel ★★★★
"I was happy that the amenities were plentiful. I could choose my pillow, shampoo, bath salts, etc. Although there was no large public bath, I was satisfied."
Akan Tsuruga Besso Hinanoza ★★★★★
"The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a fantastic environment. The mini-bar in the room's refrigerator is stocked with various drinks and ice cream, and there are also drinks and snacks available in the lobby. Besides the yukatas provided in the rooms, you can also choose a floral one. The onsen (hot spring bath) is also amazing. The breakfast and dinner dishes are also quite commendable."
Kushiro Prince Hotel ★★★★
"Good to stay if not too choosy"
ANA Crowne Plaza KUSHIRO by IHG ★★★★
"Is in the prime tourist location, but is a bit off from the JR station"
New Akan Hotel ★★★
"Food was so so but many varieties."

Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Kushiro Juji-Gai
"Toyoko Inn Hotel is old, breakfast and front desk are in the same space, low cost performance"
Hotel AreaOne Kushiro
"Although the room is not big, the layout is reasonable. Putting two suitcases does not affect walking. It is very clean everywhere. The breakfast is rich and delicious. The attitude of each service staff is very good. It is very close to Kushiro Station and very convenient for travel. Overall super good 👍 cost-effective! 👍 I will stay here again"
Hotel Gozensui
"The hotel has a nice lobby but that is it. The rooms are very old and dated. Definitely needs update and maintenance. Amenities are almost non existent. The food is not good so don't get the package that includes breakfast and dinner. There's plenty of places nearby to eat for a better price and meal. The futons are thin and worn out. It gave us back pain, also there is no AC during the summer."
Super Hotel Kushiro-Ekimae
"This hotel is very good! Check-in with password! Breakfast is included. It is next to the station. Akan Bus Terminal is downstairs. There is a hot spring pool, which is not too big. There is a beverage machine where you can drink various beverages for free. There are also various pillows and skin care samples to choose from. There is almost nothing wrong with this hotel! Great! Kushiro highly recommends staying here!"
Super Hotel Kushiro Kurogane
"Good staff attitude, good breakfast, easy to find location, plenty of parking space, just the room is relatively small."
Yamahana Onsen Refre
"The hotel is located in the suburbs of Kushiro, with a quiet and comfortable environment. But it is located next to the Kushiro City Zoo and only a 10-minute drive from the Red-crowned Crane Park, which is very convenient. Attentive service at breakfast and dinner."
Akan Tanchou No Sato Onsen Saakuru Akai Beret
"Plan to stay in one berth and two meals Very good value for money Everyone had a good dinner. Breakfast family is not used to eating The room is Japanese tatami I'll help you make the beds during dinner. No bathroom in the room Toilet, bath, wash all have to leave the room Unacceptable passengers please avoid There is a children's playground nearby that is not maintained And big turf."
Tohokan
"In early July 2026, I traveled alone to Lake Akan onsen in Kushiro City, Hokkaido, and stayed at the "Tohokan" inn, located in the tourist area. It's a budget onsen inn; while the facilities were somewhat lacking, the friendly service from the staff and the affordable price made it a good value option. 👍🏻Attentive Service, Feeling at Home I arrived at the inn earlier than my scheduled check-in time, and to my surprise, the front desk had already prepared my room for me to check in early. The receptionist spoke fluent English, so communication was seamless. What touched me most was that the day before, I had accidentally injured my eye, and the staff, seeing the bruise, kindly inquired about my injury, making me feel incredibly warm. 📺Rooms and Facilities: Traditional Japanese Style and Limited Facilities I stayed in a traditional Japanese tatami room. Although the outdoor temperature at Lake Akan in July was only 14 degrees Celsius at night, the room remained warm. The room was equipped with a safe and a TV, and the lighting was adjustable, which was very thoughtful. However, the room's facilities are indeed somewhat inconvenient, so please be prepared: 1. No air conditioning: The room only has a fan, and it gets quite hot during the day when the sun is out. 2. Insufficient power outlets: If you want to charge your devices, watch TV, and use the fan simultaneously, there aren't enough outlets. Guests are advised to bring their own universal power strip. 3. No elevator: The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so I had to carry my luggage up to my room on the second floor myself. 4. Shared bathroom: There is no private toilet in the room; you need to use a shared sink to wash up. 🍳Onsen and Breakfast: Authentic Hot Spring Water and Home-Style Delights The hotel's public bath is open in the evening and early morning. The water is hot enough to make soaking very comfortable. This is authentic Lake Akan Onsen (simple hot spring), with clear water. Breakfast is a traditional Japanese set meal, including white rice, miso soup, fried egg and ham, grilled fish, natto, and various home-style side dishes. Although it wasn't a fancy buffet, the food tasted like home-cooked meals prepared with care, perfectly suited my taste, and left me feeling refreshed and energized. 🚍Location and Surroundings: The hotel is not far from the Akan Lake Bus Center, making public transportation very convenient. There are also convenience stores nearby, so buying daily necessities or snacks is no problem. The hotel also has coin-operated washing machines and dryers, which is very convenient for long-distance travelers."
The Sun Lounge
"• The Wi-Fi didn't work. • It would have been nice to have an extra dish towel. • It would have been nice to have disposable toothbrushes and body towels. It was a very clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity!"
Hotel Axia Inn Kushiro
"It was great because it was the closest to the Suehiro shopping district."
THE EXEPAREL
"The child was 5 because there were people, so it was too noisy and I was rather troublesome ‼️ But the children were very satisfied, and I was very excited for three days to be here next time ‼️ I am very satisfied to see the children who are happy with 5 adults ‼️ It was a consecutive night, so it was good to have a bath cleaning equipment ‼️ Every room in the room was warm and comfortable without heating ‼️ Thank you ‼️"
