Kushiro City Hotels with Parking

This was my first time staying at La Vista, and I initially thought it would just be a Dormy Inn with a private onsen, but I was so pleasantly surprised! The room was quite spacious and had a private bath where you could pre-fill the water, and it would automatically stop when full. There's also a public outdoor bath with even better views, but you can't use shampoo or shower gel there as the water flows directly into the stream. Since it wasn't convenient to go out, I booked the dinner and breakfast package. The kaiseki meal was exquisitely presented and photogenic, and the taste was good, though the ingredients were just average. The most delightful moment was sitting in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in the evening, watching a family of deer come to drink water and graze!

Thank you to the hotel staff who helped during the 8th December earthquake. It was our families first experience of an earthquake and tsunami warning, so we were very worried. We came down from level 16 to the level 3 evacuation zone once the tsunami warning was triggered, and we met your staff there who were setting up the evacuation area. A big thank you to the male staff member who put our minds at ease and used google translate to guide us and let us know it was safe to return to the room 1）地理位置优越，出门左边有便利店；离币舞桥走走也就到了，可惜当天天气不好，没有看到世界有名的落日； 2）楼下的西餐厅味道很不错👍价格也比较公道 3）洗衣机是免费的（在四楼） 4）地下停车场是1000yen(住客)，虽然不免费，但也比较公道。 5）入住当晚遭遇地震（12月8日，7.6级）虽然钏路离得比较远，但是在16楼，晃得也比较厉害。后来海啸警告也来了。我们穿好衣服，从16楼冲到3楼避难层（虽然沿着绿色指示，但是在三楼找不到出口，后来员工打开了宴会厅的门，将我们安顿下来，一家三口才比较安心！十分感谢员工们！后来有一位男士一直利用google translate跟我们沟通，也让我们安心不少。十分感激！第二天check out时，想看看他叫什么名字，写一封感谢信，但是名牌太小了，不了了之。不过，疑惑为什么其他旅客都不下来？那么淡定）

I had an enjoyable stay at Akan Yuku no Sato Tsuruga. The hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere and is a wonderful place to experience the beauty of Lake Akan. The service was excellent throughout my stay. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional, always greeting guests with a smile and making every interaction pleasant. Their hospitality really enhanced the overall experience. The onsen facilities were one of the highlights of the hotel. They are spacious, beautifully designed, and have a luxurious feel, offering a great variety of indoor and outdoor baths. The only minor drawback was that the top-floor outdoor bath did not appear to be as clean as the other baths. Overall, the onsen experience was still great. The room was a little on the compact side, but it was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, I had a great stay and Akan Yuku no Sato Tsuruga is a great choice in Lake Akan.

I am sad I didn’t get to have the free breakfast. The hotel is a little old but other than that there’s nothing to complain about. Great location to stop by.

A truly memorable traditional Japanese experience. This is a very traditional Japanese hotel where we had the opportunity to experience staying in a tatami-style room for the first time. It was a unique and enjoyable experience for our family, and one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. The onsen was particularly impressive and was ranked by my family as the best among all the hotels we stayed at during our journey. The hotel enjoys a beautiful location directly in front of Lake Akan, allowing us to wake up to stunning lake views in the morning. The peaceful surroundings create a sense of serenity and make it a perfect place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The location is also very convenient. The Lake Akan sightseeing cruise is located right next to the hotel, while the Ainu Village, shops, and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. Our stay included a traditional Japanese-style dinner, which was a completely new experience for us. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family. Breakfast was also included, giving us the opportunity to sample a variety of Japanese dishes. Overall, this was a unique and unforgettable stay that allowed us to experience traditional Japanese culture, hospitality, and cuisine in a beautiful lakeside setting.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's a two-minute walk straight ahead after turning left from the JR station. There's a bus stop and a sightseeing bus pick-up point right outside the entrance. It's also just over a ten-minute walk to Nusamai Bridge. The hotel breakfast is delicious, and there are complimentary alcoholic beverages and soft drinks on the first floor in the evenings. They also offer free hot springs. The only downside is the questionable cleanliness, which needs improvement.

We stayed in a double room for 3 nights. It's a few minutes walk from the station. Because it is snowy now, sometimes it is a bit tough. I love that the room has a separate bath and toilet unit. The sink is outside, that's is more convenience. We enjoyed the onsen every evening. I did the laundry here, and the dryer is good. The only thing we didn't enjoy is the breakfast. It seem to have to much potatoes related dishes.

We took a tour bus directly to the New Akan Hotel. The hotel is very grand, and although it's a bit old, it's very well-maintained with a European-American style decor. I booked a Japanese-style lake view room in advance, and the size was definitely larger than what was stated in the description, at least 30+ square meters. The indoor and outdoor onsen, all-you-can-eat dining, and service were all excellent. The location is superb, close to both the onsen street and the ice mountain attractions. There are two minor drawbacks: the dinner includes a buffet yakiniku, and the smell can't be dissipated, so the entire public area smells like it... thankfully, the rooms are fine. Also, as many have mentioned, there are a lot of tour groups, all from Taiwan, so the hotel is crowded everywhere you go. You need to plan your meals and onsen visits to avoid peak times. Despite this, the hotel's order is still quite good. The internal shops are not tax-free. If I have the chance to come again, I would still choose this hotel, but I'd try to avoid the times when there are large tour groups, as the environment is quite important when you're on vacation!

It has good access from the station. It's on the opposite side of the railway tracks from the downtown area along the Kushiro River. If walking, you can reach Kushiro Station via a pedestrian bridge or underground passage. There is ample parking. There is a large public bath on the first floor (about 8 people in the washing area). Bicycle rentals are available for nearby places (there are no convenience stores nearby). The basic necessities are provided.

The hotel side is adequate but simple. The restaurant part should be avoided, food basic cheap and the worse of our two weeks in Hokkaido. Staff was unfriendly to say the least. There is a beer box at the entrance of the restaurant, but that is ”outside” . We thought we should take the beer before entering the restaurant, and that got the staff just about scream at us, because beer is sold inside! Breakfast is from 7 to 9 and while we were finishing our breakfast started at 8.30 waitress showed up saying we should be out by 9 as they closed! Very close to Akan crane center but the worse accomodation of hokkaido, to be avoided if you can. All other places we stayed people were most friendly!
