Horrible stay here, sharing room and no space for my luggage.

Great place to stay! Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

The free breakfast is awesome. I went there for the breakfast and the dog, rather than the facilities and location. There are foreign staff, so you can check in comfortably in English. It is very close to Heian Shrine and the museum, and the neighborhood itself is pretty. I left my luggage next to the counter the next morning and went to Heian Shrine - took the bus, Jishoji - Philosopher's Path - Nanzenji - picked up my luggage at the accommodation and went to the next schedule. Since it is a guesthouse, noise and perfect cleanliness are inevitable, so I recommend it to those who are looking for cost-effectiveness.

I live on the upper bunk. After checking in, the boss gave me a door code so that you can open the door when you come back late. After 11 o'clock, the boss is not in the store and has to go home. At about 5 o'clock, the boss started to prepare breakfast. The main advantages of this restaurant are: 1. The boss has a good service attitude and a warm atmosphere; 2. The breakfast made by the boss is the biggest highlight, free, with a wide variety of ingredients and relatively fresh; free coffee is provided in the evening; 3. There is a small courtyard, which is convenient for smokers to satisfy their craving; 4. It is very close to Dongshan Metro Station, only minutes' walk away; 5. The price is relatively affordable. If there is a shortcoming, the space in Room 9 is a bit cramped, but for backpackers, it doesn’t matter. It seems a bit small and a little inconvenient for those with a family.

I really like this place. It’s my first time to travel to Japan alone. I stayed in Osaka the night before, and I stayed here when I came to Kyoto. I saw it recommended by others before, even though my Japanese is very poor. Fortunately, I can communicate in English. The lady who checked me in was very patient and took me inside to explain the area to me. When I checked out in the morning, my uncle was very enthusiastic and even called the dog out. I was actually completely I booked this hotel because I was attracted by dogs... I was so pleasantly surprised, and then I successfully took a photo with the dog! (It was resting when I came the night before. It had its own name, but I forgot it😂) I really like it, and there is a path nearby where you can walk to Kiyomizudera Temple. There are few people at night and the scenery is beautiful. It is really a special time. An unforgettable and wonderful experience! Thank you to everyone I met!

The boss will make free breakfast every morning and provide it from 7:00 to 9:00. Then the boss also has a bathhouse. If the guests staying here want to go, he will take them there for free at 9 o'clock every night and bring them back at 10 o'clock. Chai Chai It’s so cute, all I can say is that I love it so much 😭 I highly recommend it!

The B&B has very cute dogs, the service staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the location is good. There are many attractions nearby. Many foreigners will stay here. It is recommended for those who travel alone.

It is a short walk from Higashiyama subway station, or if you take the city bus, take route 5 and get off at Jingumichi, and it's about a 5-minute walk. The accommodation was converted from a townhouse. The owner, Shiba, is a very friendly and interesting person. I stayed in a twin room and it was very comfortable. Also worth mentioning is the breakfast, which is made by the owner himself. Many foreign travelers stay at the inn, so you can eat a variety of dishes. I had a very delicious takikomi gohan (rice with seasoning). There was a wide variety of fruits, which made me feel happy from the morning. The mascot dog, Jiro, was also cute. I would like to stay here again.

Very friendly staff

The hotel is very convenient in terms of environment. It is only 5 minutes away from Higashiyama Subway Station and very close to the scenic spots ****, Nanzenji Temple and Kiyomizudera Temple. Moreover, the hotel has a beautiful environment and is very quiet. Even if you don't want to travel far, you can go shopping at the convenience store opposite the hotel and then go back to the hotel garden to rest. There is also an Akita dog in the hotel? 😂 The staff's service is very good. They can easily check information about nearby and even other cities. They also provide a good breakfast. The hotel facilities are sufficient, and you can use laundry + drying services for only ¥300.
