Location is close to attraction and train station. Service is good. some facilities I am not able to use due to time. Service staff for Breakfast and Dinner is superb

Location: Conveniently located near the Sanjo Keihan subway station, even with luggage Surroundings: Next to the Kamogawa Bridge, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery every morning and evening. In addition, there is a department store and Sanjo-dori next to it, which is very convenient for shopping and tasting delicious food. Hotel environment: The exterior and interior have a strong old Japanese flavor. The room is a tatami. There is a special person to help you make the bed and fold the quilt when you go out or have dinner at night. The bathroom is separated from the toilet and has an indoor bathtub, but the bathroom equipment is older than that of new hotels. The hotel has a bathhouse, but because it has a private bathroom, not many people choose to use it. Last time I had the whole bathhouse to myself, it was so nice. Hotel restaurant: breakfast and dinner are included. Because I stayed for 2 nights, the breakfast and dinner for the 2 nights were different. The first day's dinner was a Japanese 9-course meal with dessert, and the second dinner was Sukiyaki. The breakfast was quite good. Although the tableware was the same for 2 days, the food inside was different every day. The staff are very polite and will introduce the ingredients in English. If you eat them, they will see you off at the door when you are finished. Highly recommended hotel worth visiting again. There are too many advantages to list. There are also disadvantages 1. The bathhouse has no lock, making it easy for strangers to enter. It would be better if a password lock could be used. The bathhouse only has a basket and a hair dryer. It would be great if they had some combs, cotton pads or swabs or lotion. 2. The faucet in the bathroom is old and the personal hygiene products are not complete.

When you go to Kyoto, you must stay at a ryokan at least once, so I made a reservation through Trip.com from Korea and went there ~~~ What is this ‼️It was so much better than I expected 🥰👍 I slept very well and I ate very well because I added breakfast and dinner (kaiseki), but um,,,, the breakfast was okay, but I thought the ryokan kaiseki before I came I wonder if my expectations were too high or there were too many things that didn't suit our taste ㅠㅠ Still, I think it would be good to come here once and think of it as a good experience and eat it ~~ The room was really clean and there wasn't a speck of dust, so I was satisfied with everything The staff were all very kind (you don't have to go this far), and they were so kind that it was burdensome. The breakfast set meal is a bit hard to get used to, but I still like it to experience Japanese characteristics. It costs about 1,500 yen to take a taxi from the hotel to Kiyomizu Temple. It is recommended that everyone get up early to go to Kiyomizu Temple, where there are few people and beautiful scenery. The hotel service is very good, thank you.

The rooms on the Kamogawa side are not very soundproof. You can hear the sounds of passers-by outside at night, but overall they are very good. The rooms are very clean and the service attitude is very good. The front desk will help keep the keys when you go out, so you are not afraid of losing them. The transportation is also very convenient ( In addition, many comments on Google Maps mentioned that there are ghosts here, but the few days I stayed there were fine and there was nothing unusual, so there was no need to be too scared.

This is my second time staying at Kamo River this year. The location is excellent, close to the shopping street and close to Gion, a 10-minute walk away. It’s just that this time I stayed, maybe it’s because there are several bars near the Sanjo Bridge opposite. Young Japanese people often talk loudly in the middle of the night. I checked in on Friday and checked out on Sunday. During the two nights, I was woken up at 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Saturday, and on Sunday night I was woken up several times by fire trucks and people talking loudly downstairs, even me. The little daughter who couldn't wake up after falling asleep was also woken up once. Next time I come, I might consider a hotel. The surrounding sleeping environment is really not good at night.

The sun is shining brightly in the early morning, which affects sleep. The transportation is very convenient.
