Lovely and affordable hotel ! Very good size rooms and excellent bed mat-trace! There is a metro station 🚉directly from the Kyoto train 🚊 station to the hotel ! Internet wasn’t great ! Breakfast was decent.

I booked for a 3 people room and the hotel was willing to provide 3 beds instead of 2 queen size beds, well appreciated

This is one of my best experience, the location is a little far from center of city but that is middle of jungle with beautiful animals 😍

Murano Togo (1891-1984) was a master of Japanese modernist architecture, known as the "poet of curves". The Prince Takaradago Kyoto, Autograph Collection Hotel (formerly Takaradago Prince Hotel Kyoto) (completed in 1986), designed in his later years, is one of his masterpieces. It is famous for its flowing curved structure - the elliptical appearance, spiral staircase and wavy ceiling form a unique rhythm, and cleverly use the scenery of Mount Hiei to achieve harmony between architecture and garden. The hotel is hailed as "Kyoto's modern architectural heritage", showcasing Murano's fusion of traditional aesthetics and avant-garde techniques. The hotel is across the road from Exit 4-2 of Kokusaikaikan Station, very convenient. I don't recommend it because of the huge crowds in downtown Kyoto, but the surrounding Hokuraike Park is huge and Mount Hiei is well worth visiting again and again. Before checking in, we went to **** and the Kyoto Porcelain Museum. While in Kyoto, we went to the Arashiyama Sagano Train and the surrounding Hokkien Park. The itinerary planned for the day of departure was: take bus No. 19 from the International Conference Hall to Yase Station, visit Rurikoin, transfer to the cable car + Eizan ropeway to go up the mountain, walk to the top of Mount Hiei, take the bus to Enryakuji Temple, then walk to Sakamoto Cable Car Station, take the cable car down the mountain, walk past Hiyoshi Taisha Shrine, visit the Old Bamboo Forest, take the Keihan Electric Railway Ishiyama Sakamoto Line to Ishiba Station, and check in at Biwa Plaza Lake Hotel around 5pm. Walking + 6 means of transportation along the way, highly recommended.

Traditional old five-star hotel. Booked a king-size bed room on the forest floor based on the pictures. Expectations were too high. Speechless after checking in. Forest floor king-size bed room, picture 1 has floor-to-ceiling windows, clean and bright, with a great forest view. After checking in, as shown in picture 2, the window was only 1/3, dark, like a prison cell. After directly complaining about the fraud, Ctrip helped to communicate and negotiate with the hotel repeatedly, but the hotel was still reluctant, saying that the publicity was just publicity, and not all floor-to-ceiling windows. Haha. In the end, the hotel "urgently arranged" a floor-to-ceiling window room on a lower floor. Please refer to picture 4 for the specific view. The various services of the hotel are difficult to describe. There are also many Indians and Pakistanis in the room staff. My passport was lost in the hotel and was not found in the end. In short, if you go to this kind of hotel that cheats and quibbles, adjust your expectations.

Although the address is a bit remote, it is accessible by JR. Its facilities and environment are good, and the room is large. The breakfast is rich, with three options: Western set meal, Japanese set meal and buffet! It's just that the English communication of the front desk staff is a bit difficult.

Convenient transportation, take the subway green line to the terminal station, then exit 4-1, go straight out of the subway, and the hotel is opposite the exit. Facilities: It feels like the decoration was 20 years ago, which is quite nostalgic. Environment: Very good, the Japanese who eat in the restaurant all wear very formal kimonos and make reservations in advance. Park: The more primitive park is opposite the hotel. There are not many types of breakfast in the hotel: bread, salad, pickles, miso soup, bread, and cereal. But eating a little of each is enough. The hotel does not provide a quilt change. I called the customer service phone four times but no one answered. I could only go to the service desk on the first floor. Valuables should be placed in the safe, because I heard an Indian guest say that she lost 1,000 US dollars, and I don’t know how to deal with it later. Be more careful when you go out, don’t fill yourself up, and don’t take up other people’s time. The room is very large, two to three times the size of an ordinary room.

As soon as you exit the subway, you can see the circular hotel. Just cross the road and you'll arrive. The waiters are very polite. Although the decoration is not luxurious, the room is large and comfortable. I wonder how the bathroom stays dry. You can't even hear the sound of the exhaust fan. It's suitable for guests who like quiet and natural environment. The hotel provides free luggage transportation to and from Kyoto Station before April 1st.
