I stayed here once about a year and a half ago. Back then, it was just my family of three in a standalone wooden cabin with a shared bathroom. It was summer, and I found the place quite charming. This time, I brought friends, a total of 5 of us, and booked a three-bedroom wooden cabin. It's winter now, and this cabin is much better than the previous small one. It has a layout of three bedrooms and two living areas, including a living room, dining room, and kitchen. The rooms feel very new and clean. The kitchen and bathroom amenities are all very functional, and the refrigerator is large and new. It comes with a wet/dry separation bathroom, and there are sinks both inside and outside the bathroom, which is very convenient for multiple people. If you have children, this suite can accommodate up to 8-9 people! It has three bunk beds and one large bed. The only slight downside is that the bedrooms have heaters but no air conditioning, so it might get hot in the summer, though the living room does have AC. The top bunk beds are easy to bump your head on. Also, I couldn't figure out how to turn off the outdoor lights for this cabin, and they stayed on all night, which really hindered stargazing!

The location was fantastic, and the check-in and check-out service was wonderful. The view was just as beautiful as in the photos, and the scenery from evening to morning was truly breathtaking and heartwarming!! ^_^

Overall is ok. There is a proper kitchen for us to cook the food. Just to aware if shared bathroom, need to walk a short distance, very cold if have wind😅

It was a good experience and easy to check-in :) The room also have heater, but the shower and bathroom is separate from the room.

We stayed one night in the cabin and one night in the campervan. The cabin was excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is great, with beautiful lake views that made the stay very enjoyable. The only downside was that the public areas could have been cleaner.

Very nice little place, although it’s slightly farther from the famous church. You’ll get to see lots of stars at night. There’s also a small kitchen for you to prepare food if needed.

Lake Edge Holiday Park has a very convenient location with beautiful views overlooking Lake Tekapo. The facilities were quite complete and suitable for a comfortable stay. However, the hot water shower was limited to only 8 minutes per session, which could be inconvenient in colder weather. In addition, the shared bathroom/toilet and kitchen were located quite far from the accommodation area. Overall, still a nice stay for enjoying the scenery around Tekapo.

This is a motel campground perfect for those traveling by car. The scenery is beautiful, parking is convenient, and each unit has its own designated parking spot. The kitchen facilities are excellent, making it easy to cook your own meals. The only downside is the poor signal.

Awesome makes you proud to live in this beautiful country. My 8 year old daughter loved the bunnies and the ducks, great playground to keep kids amused. Super comfy beds too.

We booked lake view room in bathrooms. Little bit expensive but did not disappoint

The front desk staff were a bit distant, and there was a strong cleaning product smell in the room upon arrival, but it didn't ruin my birthday stay. This is my third time choosing this place, and it's definitely the best value for money in Tekapo. Just remember not to open the windows at night, there are too many bugs.

The room overall was great – clean, good facilities, and a nice environment. The only minor downside was that it wasn't very soundproof.
