"We stayed in Pomaria Boutique Residence before starting a sailing holiday. The welcome could not have been more friendly and helpful. The flat was just stunning with beautiful balcony round the 2 sides of the flat and an area outside to eat. It is a short 10 min walk into the marina area and it is 15 min to the centre of town. We will stay again and could not recommended it more."

"A warm friendly welcome from check in to unfortunately having to go home. Beautiful location overlooking the marina and a short walk to the center of Nidri. Room was very spacious and well maintained the aircon being a bonus as it was baking hot during our stay. We stayed in a room for 4 people with our balcony overlooking the pool, bar and beautiful views over the marina. The hotel has a lovely pool area and a very well stocked pool bar. You can also enjoy your drinks on the beach across the road which was lovely in the evening watching the moon rise over the bay. A fantastic 2 weeks spent in a great super value for money hotel with a lovely friendly Greek family as your hosts. Would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Oscar"

"Fantastic seafront location, splendid views from the "sea view" rooms, free beach access, a family-friendly and peaceful atmosphere, and the owners are undoubtedly nice people. For this reason, I'm sorry to have to leave a negative review for this hotel, but individual experiences matter and can help others choose accommodations and even help the hotel itself improve. The room did not match the photo on the website, which was the basis of our booking. The bathroom did not have a shower stall, only a curtain, so the shower water ran directly onto the floor and toilet, flooding the bathroom. If we had seen this in the photos, we would never have booked a room like this in a 4-star hotel. The tourist tax, indicated by the hotel in the booking confirmation email, was 1.50 euros per day, but upon arrival it increased to 7 euros, with the excuse that we had mistyped the correct amount in their email. The room often had a nasty sewer smell. The safe didn't work and the owners said it couldn't be repaired because it was "too old," but it's listed on the website as one of the guaranteed room amenities. The kettle provided upon our arrival was dirty and had a completely calcified bottom, but was fortunately replaced. The air conditioning would shut off every 15 minutes due to a tripped electrical panel, and we had to turn it back on every time, even at night. Sometimes they forgot to provide a shower mat and towels, which by even lower hotel standards should include a large one for the shower and at least one small one, but here they only provided the two large ones, and sometimes they forgot to bring those too; we had to go and ask for them. Water pressure was often lacking, and during showers, the hot water would disappear completely. Downstairs, there was often noise until late at night, with commotion coming from the beach or the bar next door. Closing the windows might have helped, but that would have resulted in the air conditioning going off every 15 minutes. This isn't a 4-star hotel."

"Nice place, rooms, common spaces, but what affects this activity is the attention of the manager and his family to the client; they are divided between the cleaning of the rooms (all day with clothes exchange) and the preparation of cakes Salts and sweets for the amazing breakfast you are served in the room or in the garden. never stop Panagiotis !!!"

"This was probably the worst experience we have ever enountered. The accommodation is dated and neglected and the bathroom was not usable. Dirty and rusty sharp objects inside the shower screen. The bedding provided was absolutely inadequate. I could write an essay on this but we are just over it. We have left after 1 day even though we paid for 5. Both us and the travel agents made contact with accommodation to get at least partial refund and Lefkadio Suites did not even respond after 3 follow ups. Please do not stay here. Plenty of better and cheaper options in Lefkada. We have lost almost 1000 euros with this experience and feel absolutely disappointed. You have been warned"

"The hotel Lefkas is definitely not as it is shown online, nothing like the pictures. For 5 nights / 6 days, they didn't clean the room, didn't even throw out the trash, or leave toilet paper.... Dirty room, dirty furnisher, Floor .... There was an electric kettle but no tea or coffee in the room. Bathroom has a window looking into the room. Air conditioner was loud and smelled bad. The contact for the TV was broken. Slow internet service. The view from the balcony was very poor looking in the dirty backyards. Terrible service. They treated us in the most disrespectful way possible. The breakfast was disappointing also."
