Old Boat ★
Crystal Waters ★★★★
"The hotel is new, modern, and very clean. I would recommend having an adult-only pool, as during our stay they were all overflowing with children playing and diving. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Joanna in the breakfast room, but everyone was truly attentive and professional."
Allure Wellness Retreat ★★★★
"I stayed at this property for only one night of the five booked, and I must say the experience was decidedly disappointing. First of all, the cleanliness left much to be desired: the photos on the website are completely misleading; the reality is quite different. The furnishings, despite being new, appeared old and poorly maintained, and the room lacked the welcoming and well-kept appearance depicted in the promotional images (as you can see from the photos). The windows still had marker writing on them, and the bathrooms had builders' signs on the tiles indicating the location of the fountains, clearly showing the incompleteness of the work. Furthermore, the property was still under construction. When we arrived, there were builders working right next to our room, creating noise and disruption. In the courtyard, there were construction materials and a dump of various types of waste, making the environment unwelcoming and unrelaxing. The loungers were completely unusable, damaged and dirty, impossible to use for relaxing. Upon arrival, the reception area was cluttered with vacuum cleaners, bags of freshly removed sheets, and full of dust, immediately giving the impression of disarray and lack of care. When we called the receptionist to report these shortcomings, she seemed disrespectful in responding to our requests (requests that were part of what we had booked). This made our stay even more frustrating and unpleasant. In the end, we decided to leave after just one night, despite having booked for five. I absolutely do not recommend this property, especially to those looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience."
Ponti Beach Hotel ★★
"We didn't have a particularly positive experience staying at this hotel or in the resort in general. I would personally go as far as to say you might want to consider staying in Sivota or Nidri if you are heading to Lefkada and you're British, as the resorts are "much" more friendly and welcoming. Pros and cons provided below. CONS 1. We both found what was either the general manager or owner, to be rude and unwelcoming. Respectfully, we can only describe her as a lady in her later years and have only done so to ensure the criticism is directed at the right person. Definitely one of the most unfriendly and unwelcoming staff members we've ever encountered in any accommodation we've stayed in, and we've travelled extensively. She wasn't even polite when we checked out, so we'll happily take our business elsewhere! 2. Younger staff were mostly friendly, but not very attentive. Tables in the bar / restaurant area were frequently left uncleared in the evenings, even when the bar was empty and we were the only ones there. 3. Chemicals used to clean the floors in the hotel public areas absolutely stink and nearly made us sick on multiple occasions. I'm not joking. Whatever they are using is sickly. 4. Room cleaning service needs serious attention. Initially, the room did look very clean. However, once you get down on the floor and look under the bed and sofas, you'll realise that's far from the case and some areas don't appear to be getting cleaned properly or at all. I took photos and video for reference, but hope this written feedback will be enough for the hotel to take action. 5. As mentioned below in 'pros, we had one of the newer rooms and it featured the biggest balcony we've ever seen in any hotel. Whilst it did provide a great photo opportunity with the beach in the background, it was generally a huge wasted opportunity. The only furniture on the balcony was a table with some upright chairs just outside of the room. No sun loungers to allow you to utilise the space in any positive way. 6. Breakfast - None of the food was covered up to protect from flies and other insects. PROS 1. We had one of the newer rooms, and the balcony area was absolutely gigantic, with stunning views out over Vasiliki beach. This really is impressive! Unfortunately, the huge balcony is also a negative for the reasons stated above in 'cons'. 2. Bedrooms are modern and spacious with huge comfortable sofas, beds, and even a fridge. 3. Bathroom was modern, clean, and featured an amazing shower with great water pressure. 4. Breakfast was fine in terms of selection overall. 5. Swimming pool and surrounding area looked really nice with ultra modern sun loungers and a fantastic view of the beach beyond - we didn't get to use this as we were out exploring everyday, so can't comment on cleanliness as we only ever viewed it from the bar and car park above. 6. Ample on-site parking - those with health issues may want to check if there is space in the car park just "
Summer Bed Nydri ★★★
"FAR- THE DIRTEST place I've ever been- on the second night THEY BITTEN the friend we lost together with the KORIAN and we were running and we couldn't reach him. we left in a hurry and of course there was no mention of financial compensation. plus THEY STOLE ALL OUR SHOES 4 pairs of Nike sneakers - he also had undeclared Roma cleaning staff so that he wouldn't pay as the locals told us the sloppy owner.."
Oasis Hotel ★★★
"Oasis hotel is in a great spot near to Nydri, 5 minutes from the beach , and a supermarket.Absolutely stunning views!Small family run hotel, Nothing was too much trouble for George, a great help so many times.Clean rooms & hotel was to a high standard.Pool was nice & clean, plenty of outdoor furniture.I will definitely return here , and would strongly recommend others too also."
Thomais Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"We visited this hotel for one night. We where welcomed with much respect and felt comfort. The owners are kind and helpful. “Hers paradise” room is great with view to a magnificent green landscape. Our stay was perfect. We hope to visit it again for more days."
Summer House Louisa ★★
Porto Galini Seaside Resort & Spa ★★★★★
"It was the 7th time visiting the hotel, as the previous years we had the best experience in the hotel in all sections. Unfortunately this year things changed. Some of previous facilities changed like for example the amenities at the room(some were used when we arrived), towels removed from the beach feeling that there was a beach police, some things that needed renovation especially the antisliders at the steps were almost destroyed and not changed. Most of the staff (same people that working there the previous years) were rude, unhelpful especially the new manager. When we said we have been 7 times here and it was the first time we have this behavior towards us, his answer was “I don’t even care we are always full”… the previous manager was a brilliant person and helpful"

Grand TheoNi Boutique Hotel & Spa
"Located on the main street of Vassiliki, the southern part of Lefkada, the Grand Theoni is a very pleasant, well-maintained hotel with adequately spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms. The receptionists were very friendly and always quick to respond to our every request. The breakfast was the usual hotel fare, with some local specialties. Highly recommended."
Lefkas Petra
"This a really well located and comfortable place, with simple but delightful roo.s with a lovley view over the bay. Extremely kind and helpful owner and staff. This was our second time here, and we will return. Outstanding value too! Thank you! "
Thealos Village Aparthotel Lefkada
"An absolutely outstanding stay! In our opinion, this hotel deserves more than 4 stars. It is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The view is simply breathtaking, and having the swimming pool right in front of our room made the experience even more special. The apartment was equipped with absolutely everything we could have needed. There was a washing machine just outside our room, with laundry detergent provided free of charge. In the kitchen, we were welcomed with a brand-new sealed sponge, paper towels, and all the essentials. There was also an ironing board and iron, showing just how much attention has been given to every little detail. The cleanliness was impeccable. The apartment was cleaned every day, towels were changed every two days, and the bed linen was replaced once during our stay. Separate towels were also provided for the pool. The pool was automatically cleaned every night and checked daily by a staff member, so it was always spotless. There is also a children's pool and a playground, making it a perfect choice for families. Each apartment has its own spacious, covered parking space, so no matter what time you return, your parking spot is always waiting for you. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and all of our neighbors were respectful and quiet throughout our stay. The location is excellent—only about 10 minutes from Lefkada Town, around 20 minutes from the port of Nidri, and the island's stunning beaches are just 10 to 50 minutes away, depending on which one you choose. We wholeheartedly recommend this place. Everything exceeded our expectations, and the attention to detail and exceptional service truly impressed us. We will definitely be coming back!"
Vergina Star Hotel
"Sea view rooms give a lovely view of the Rooms are not huge but perfect for a few nights Staff very friendly You need a car"
Red Tower Hotel
"Starting with the positives, the hotel has incredible views. The staff are hardworking, attentive and kind. Each day our room was freshened up and new towels provided which was great. There was always sun beds available by the pool despite the hotel being fully booked. I liked the location but would definitely recommend a car to get about. Sadly it was apparent to me that the management is very poor. The staff were trying their best to provide a service with very little resources. At breakfast time there was a few occasions where they ran out of coffee and other essentials. The bar was very rarely open during my stay. I was told it was closed due to lack of staff. I am not surprised they are lacking staff considering I heard how they were being spoken too by the blonde manager. On the few occasions I saw the manager, I witnessed her being quite rude to her staff, which shocked me as they were the ones working hard and holding the hotel up. The staff were great, helpful and going above and beyond their role. It seemed they did not sleep as whenever I was up, they were up also. It’s such a shame to hear how their manager speaks to them. The facilities were lacking. Our bathroom was in need of an update and was very impractical, constantly soaking wet from the shower. The swimming pool was dirty around the edge and the grating was mouldy. There was no jacuzzi as advertised. The hotel is situated up a steep hill, which was difficult to drive up as I am not used to it. Once up there, the parking situation is not ideal as there it little room to manoeuvre the tight spaces. I hope that the manager of this hotel can improve her establishment and the way she treats her staff for there is huge potential."
Elisso Boutique Hotel
"I had an excellent stay at this hotel, and it exceeded my expectations in all the ways that matter. From the moment I arrived, the management stood out as genuinely warm, attentive, and committed to making the experience smooth and enjoyable. Every interaction felt personal and thoughtful, which set the tone for the entire stay. The location is one of the hotel’s greatest strengths. It’s incredibly convenient — just a short walk to the beach and close to a variety of restaurants, making it easy to enjoy the area without needing a car for every outing. For anyone interested in wind surfing, this is an ideal spot. The conditions are consistently good, and the proximity to the water makes it effortless to get out on the board whenever the mood strikes. The pool area is beautifully maintained, offering a relaxing alternative to the beach. Whether you want to swim, sunbathe, or unwind with a book, it’s a peaceful and inviting space. Parking is available and easy, which is a major advantage in busy coastal towns where parking can often be a challenge. Inside, the hotel continues to impress. The rooms were spotless, clearly cared for with attention and pride. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the space cool and comfortable even during hot afternoons. The room size was very comfortable, offering enough space to settle in without feeling cramped — ideal for both short stays and longer vacations. Overall, this hotel delivers a well-rounded, high-quality experience. It combines excellent management, a prime location, great amenities, and true comfort. Whether you’re here for beach days, wind surfing, or simply a relaxing getaway, it’s a place that gets all the essentials right and makes your stay feel effortless."
Katerina Lefkada
"Katerina Resort was magnificent! Andreas (the owner) and the staff are wonderful! The environment is friendly and they are very helpful with recommendations including beaches, restaurants, and even other sites we had not yet thought of seeing (lighthouses, churches, etc). Lefkada is a beautiful island and the town of Vasiliki is quaint yet lively. A wonderful place to stay, we will be back!!"
Hotel Grand Nefeli
"The hotel bears little resemblance to the impression given on the website. This is not four star luxury accommodation. Nearly everything about this place is dishonest e.g Grand Suites having Spa Baths. There are no spa baths in this hotel. We stayed in the VIP Grand Suite: very tatty with lots of maintenance issues, sink smelt terrible. Management rude and aggressive. No interest in fixing anything. Very little hot water. Shower head inoperable. Do yourself a favour, book somewhere else."

Allure Retreat Villa
Ionian Blue Bungalows and Spa Resort
"My report is very contradictory, but just to say, we would revisit the Ionian Blue Hotel. So, two couples, in our 60s wanted to visit Lefkada. We chose the Ionian Blue Hotel, for it’s 5* status. It’s in a district called Nikiana, which is not far from Nikiana Town and Nidri Town – both needing a taxi to get to, so maybe good to hire a car to get around? We’d booked superior rooms, with sea views. I can honestly say the views were absolutely stunning. We have travelled a lot and we haven’t had a view like that in quite some time. A nice balcony with chairs, to enjoy the sun rise. But the room itself was a little tired. We were only staying for four nights, so we didn’t want to make a fuss and we got ourselves comfortable. We didn’t have tea/coffee making facilities, but a bottle of water. Water isn’t expensive at the hotel, so no need to go out, traipsing around for a supermarket. There is a minibar, free of use, as is the safe. Our bathroom was pretty big, with a few toiletries, but the problem being that the main shower, was in a cubicle with the toilet, so the toilet and floor got soaked. We ended up standing in the bath and showering, but water still managed to go everywhere, so we were forever mopping up. We were provided with new towels every day. But, had we been staying longer than 4 nights, even with that fantastic view, I would have asked to have been moved. The room itself was big, with lots of mirrors, lots of storage space, a nice big dressing table but, to be honest, I used the bathroom to get ready – that’s where the hairdryer is – attached to the wall, and there was a lot of worktop to store all my things. There is no iron or ironing board in the room, but you can request one, and there is also a cleaning/ironing service. I tend to rinse small items, and I missed a little washing line. The aircon was great in our room – no problem whatsoever. Their main restaurant is very big – lots of inside seating, and a nice terrace. We were B&B, so ate on the terrace, over-looking the Ionian Sea, which was pleasant. Smoking is allowed outside. Saying that, most places in Lefkada allow smoking. And, I was pleased to say we only saw one cat, which people did annoyingly feed. Not that there were many people at the hotel – it was empty! They had had a big Porsche conference, just before we arrived, and as we were leaving, the pool area was being cleared of all sunbeds, as a wedding was about to take place, so you would have to go out for the day, or go down to the jetty. And, going back to breakfast, the choice was very limited. But, we managed to always find something. Now on to the pool area, it’s very nice, with spongy cushions and because the hotel was empty, we sometimes found that we had the pool to ourselves. It was a decent size, clean, with beautiful views. There’s a little bar/restaurant, near the pool, with a couple of sofas to sit and enjoy the views. And, tables and chairs if you are going to eat. And"
Surf Hotel
"Once you get your head around the fact that the hotel is pretty basic, it's a brilliant place to be. Our room was small, had a rustic wooden, free standing wardrobe, the hangers were mismatched, the shower ran a bit hot and cold and it was generally a little tired.....but....do not let my words put you off. It also had air conditioning and a fridge and did the job. We didn't pay "plush" money and we got what we paid for. The location is fabulous. Walk out onto the promenade and turn right, you have great restaurants less than a 5 minute stumble away. Turn left and you have a 10-15 minute walk into all the action at the port and you pass numerous bars on the way. The hotel breakfast is fine and plenty of it. The bar serves food between 13:00 and 16:00. Do not miss out. The food is fantastic. I'm told it's family run and many ingredients are home produced. Whatever, very tasty for a break in the middle of the day. The staff were friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I'd recommend it as long as you have the correct expectations. I would certainly go back and may well do that."
Athina résidence
"Lovely basic accomodation that is scrupulously clean. Set in peaceful grounds set back from the road and only 5 minutes from the sea and a plethora of restaurants and bars. Apartment cleaned every day and towels and linen changed every 2 days. The family live on site and are very helpful. They also own the little fruit shop roadside."
Royal Nidri Hotel & Apartments
"Currently here at this amazing holiday, home xx it is so welcoming spotlessly clean lovely spacious accommodation pool area is wonderful with happy friendly staff .Spiros anaxing young man .Constantine amaxing .Very central to all amenities, not even been here long but definitely coming back . "
Rouda Bay Beach Hotel
"There wasn't sponge and liquid detergent in kitchen to wash the dishes. The kitchen shelves were full with dust. The location is pretty far from the rest of the island. The beach is pebbled and too crowded. The location doesn't offer much to do, actually it's not a village...there is some tavernas, but they also were crowded and if you don't make reservation you can't find a place to eat."
