Absolutely amazing experience for 4 days! Banyan Tree has one of the best service I ever experienced in China. After check in, Elin added our contact information and reached out on daily basis to make sure we had everything we needed. Hotel staffs were always able to go above and beyond to satisfy our requests. Kudos to all of them! The hotel also has stunning view of Yulong mountain and extremely well designed architecture. We pretty much spent most of time in the hotel. I also love the daily gifts provided by the hotel!

it was a nice experience. The hotel is very warm and kind. it was our anniversary, the hotel upgraded our room with separate jacuzzi. Nancy is professional and nice.

Stunning view of the dragon mountain from our villa, spacious interior, has its own backyard and pool, and the service is amazing. All and all a perfect getaway. Thanks for the complimentary upgrade to the jet pool villa!

We truly enjoyed staying at the Banyan Tree resort. We took twice a bike to Shuhe, the ancient town. We like this ancient town so much better than Lijiang. We also took a taxi to watch the impressions of Lijiang show in the mountains and see the Blue Moon Valley. Thanks to Nancy, who was always available when we had questions, even on her days off we could count on her. And William who is experienced and very good in English language helped us make the day to see the show an unforgettable day. Kate was able to show us around and give us advice where needed. Very few speak English and the help of William and Nancy and Kate made the stay very special. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the own private hot tubs very much.

Nice Hotel very clean and beautiful. The staff so helpful and friendly. Nancy are very helpful from check in until check out. From taxi booking until Jade Mountain ticket book she help us. Definitely will come again!

We had a very pleasant stay here, room was amazing, clean and spacious with a lot of privacy. The resort was beautiful, a destination on its own. Location was great, within walking distance to the nearest old town, Shuhe, and reasonable distances by car to other attractions. Service was very good too, majority of staff we met were all friendly and helpful, including but not limited to our assigned butler Rosa Wang who advised us on many matters through WeChat even while she was on leave, the boutique manager who was very attentive to my 2 toddlers and helped keep them entertained, the gardener who helped correct the way my daughter wore her traditional costume when he saw her while passing by. In general, the staff here tend to go above and beyond. Would highly recommend this resort and would definitely return.

Had a wonderful experience at Lijiang Banyan Tree hotel! We didn’t climb Yulong snow mountain but watched the sunrise at the Mountain View suite and did the taiji. The whole experience reminded me of Sedona and we all felt very relaxed in Lijiang. Justin helped us a lot and drove us back and forth in the hotel. Had a little trouble checking out but Nancy got it all figured out. Will stay here again if there’s a chance!

The hotel is very nice and face to the yulong snow mountain and the villa styles as usual old Chinese style as forbidden city like everything is very clean and well designed really enjoy the stay

We booked the room with a pool but the temperature was not that warm and it was not comfortable to use the pool. The hotel can improve in food. It’s just too simple and does not hold the reputation of the Hotel.

Banyan Tree, as an old brand in the hotel, has to say that this place is really good. It has its own private courtyard, and you can also watch the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain while taking a bath. The whole manor is full of wisteria and crabapples. Just walking here feels like being in a paradise. After having afternoon tea provided by the hotel, we just strolled around the manor and enjoyed this quiet time. This is a good choice for friends who like privacy. In the morning, lie on the bed and watch the sun shining on the Golden Mountain, then take a comfortable bath while watching the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and then go to have breakfast leisurely. Life is so comfortable and beautiful.
