"This guesthouse has a Naxi ethnic style. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping cleaned it daily. The owner and staff were very welcoming, helped with luggage, and were always ready to assist whenever needed. The guesthouse is centrally located in the ancient city, just a short walk to Sifang Street, making it convenient for getting around. It's quiet despite being in a lively area. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next year when I visit Lijiang."

"Five stars out of five! The location of this guesthouse is absolutely superb, just a few minutes' walk from the West Gate of the Old Town, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. You can take bus 101 to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and there are tons of restaurants and snacks nearby, so you won't have to worry about food. The rooms were spotless, and all the basic amenities were provided. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and there's free parking in the courtyard, making it perfect for those with a car. Overall, a fantastic stay, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Lijiang!"

"First off, the key card system at the entrance is a hassle. You can't just leave the card in; you have to insert it correctly and immediately pull it out, otherwise the door won't open. The hotel facilities are quite old, and the Wi-Fi is poor – it's a public network shared by all rooms, worse than university campus Wi-Fi. The hairdryer is ancient, looks like a vacuum cleaner, and it was broken. The AC in the room is weak, and it gets stuffy if you don't open a window. Breakfast was okay though, with a good variety."

"Staying at Lijiang International Hotel with two kids was an amazing experience! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to the Old Town's Waterwheel, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. They didn't charge extra for breakfast for either of my kids, and the breakfast spread was varied and delicious – such thoughtful service. The room was clean and spacious, the environment was great, and the staff were warm and attentive. It's definitely my top choice for traveling with children, highly recommended!"

I stayed in the Garden Hot Spring King Room, which came with a private hot spring tub and a tea/coffee lounge area. The Serta mattress combined with central air conditioning made for a very comfortable stay. The entire room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom and bedding were fresh and tidy."

"If you are looking for the perfect combination of homely modern comforts in an authentic local experience, Bivou is the place for you. Bivou is an oasis of calmlocated conveniently in a side alley off the main street of Shuhe town. The local and western Food was delicious as they were made with greens from their own garden. We really appreciated the thoughtful help with drying our shoes and clothes when we experience rather wet weather. The personal service is excellent from staff like May and the owner who is a Singaporean who actively features local produce and businesses makes the stay most enriching. We enjoyed visiting a Naxi Art Gift shop’得鱼纳西原创礼物’ that had really unique Dongba gifts that was introduced to us. It’s located right next to the dragon pond and garden which is beautiful and quiet in the evening. If you are visiting snow jade mountain, it’s a shorter journey over from Shuhe town too."

"I must say that the service was really good. The staff is fast to reply even though it is now peak period here. Come early for breakfast if u are here during this time because there was practically nothing much left this morning. It was fine on the first day. I stayed two days. I think what attracted me to this hotel were the workshops and other activities they offer. It is also near shuhe ancient town which has a more rustic charm as compared to the other ancient towns. They are also a 7 min drive away from Muyu and Lan restaurant, some of their popular trending restaurants here. Overall the environment is very chill and has lots of green. You can call for a buggy to bring u to the main entrance or back to your room. The rooms are villa style which is refreshing after the minsu(s) I stayed in. Cleanliness wise esp the floor could be better, I gave the feedback and they immediately got housekeeper to clean up for me. A good value stay when you get the voucher on the app. I will come back again. Ps. There are 3 resorts in the same area which can be confusing. But just get the"

It's quite a long walk through the ancient town, and since cars can't enter, they kindly carried our luggage to our room and then back to the car when we left. The B&B owner is also super warm and friendly; he helped us plan our itinerary, booked seats for us, and assisted with all sorts of travel arrangements. In the evenings, we could even enjoy tea and chat with him! The room offered fantastic views, and the location is absolutely superb – right in the heart of the ancient town, making it convenient to get anywhere. The breakfast was delicious too! Highly recommend staying here!"

"Fantastic location. Shops, eateries and a 24hr convenience store all near the hotel. Breakfast is simple but sufficient to start the day with. As the hotel is located along the main road, expect noise from the traffic and shops. I am a light sleeper and was not bothered at all by the noise as the hotel had excellent soundproofing. I slept incredibly well. Also, I believe shops are mandated to go quiet by a certain time so as not to be an inconvenience to hotel guests. The hotel is walking distance to the old town. The room is spacious and comfortable. Save yourself the hassle of struggling with your luggage through cobblestone streets as your ride will drop you at the main road barely 20 steps from the hotel."
