"If you are looking for the perfect combination of homely modern comforts in an authentic local experience, Bivou is the place for you. Bivou is an oasis of calmlocated conveniently in a side alley off the main street of Shuhe town. The local and western Food was delicious as they were made with greens from their own garden. We really appreciated the thoughtful help with drying our shoes and clothes when we experience rather wet weather. The personal service is excellent from staff like May and the owner who is a Singaporean who actively features local produce and businesses makes the stay most enriching. We enjoyed visiting a Naxi Art Gift shop’得鱼纳西原创礼物’ that had really unique Dongba gifts that was introduced to us. It’s located right next to the dragon pond and garden which is beautiful and quiet in the evening. If you are visiting snow jade mountain, it’s a shorter journey over from Shuhe town too."

"If it were possible to give more than 5 stars for service, we would. Welcomed at the alley by the manager, greeted with warm smiles and great hospitality towards the kids by giving us a free upgrade to a bigger room (based on availability). Breakfast choices were simple, healthy, and fulfilling each day. Really nothing beats a slow morning looking out at the majestic mountain. The hotel staff were all approachable and easily reached via WeChat, they really went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Rooms were clean and spacious! They also offer a complimentary tea set, a free shuttle to an ancient town of our choice, and a free airport transfer. The hotel is a little hard to find at first, but we had no trouble getting Didi in and out daily. Would stay again if we come back to Lijiang!"

Nice tea and delicious local rose bread are offered at check-in with helpful sightseeing and food tips. They upgraded our room for free. They also assist in carrying your luggage to and from the cab drop-off point. Convenient to hail a Didi ride (pickup/drop-off point is Bread Man 面包人). Overall, this property is a great value for your money."

The hotel itself is a mini-attraction, with individual villas containing suites, each area offering a distinct view perfect for photos. The north gate leads directly to Lijiang Old Town, and it's only about a kilometer to Dayan Flower Lane, making it convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. It caters to both those who enjoy a lively atmosphere and those who prefer peace and quiet. Room service is incredibly prompt and almost always fulfills requests. Breakfast, in-room dining, and the Chinese restaurant all offer excellent food quality – I highly recommend the mushroom hotpot. A spa session upon arrival was the perfect cure for travel fatigue. Thanks to the promotional activities, my stay was very pleasant. The room was cozy and clean. A well-deserved five-star rating for my three-night stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at Floral Lux Hotel – Qinghe Hotel. We stayed one night first, then returned for another three nights after Shangri-la, and the hotel kindly kept all our luggage in between. Initially, we had a duplex room, but we requested a one-floor room for our return stay. The staff kindly showed us a room with two double beds on the same level, which was more convenient and spacious for us. We really appreciated their flexibility. The location is excellent—less than 3 minutes from the South Gate—and the staff helped carry our luggage to and from the entrance. The team was consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive. The hotel is clean, charming, and authentic. Breakfast was great (we loved the mee sian and wontons), and there’s even a small rooftop viewpoint to catch the sunrise over Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. They also helped us organise our trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and provided free airport drop-off, luggage assistance, and clothes washing service, which were all very helpful. Overall, a very comfortable and stress-free stay. Highly recommended."

"The owner was incredibly welcoming. I arrived in Lijiang at midnight and enjoyed their pick-up service. They even gave me delicious flower cakes. There are also cute cats at the guesthouse! They offer pick-up and drop-off services to Lijiang Ancient Town, and the view from the window is great. Breakfast is from 8-10 am, with a good variety of choices. Overall, it was absolutely amazing!!!"

"I came to Lijiang with my significant other, and I really can't recommend this place enough! Being a new establishment, the rooms are wonderfully fresh with no lingering smells (in fact, they're quite fragrant!). It's also super close to Lijiang Old Town. Plus, you can even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the stunning 'Golden Mountain in the Sunshine' phenomenon right from the hotel. The location is just fantastic, and parking is very convenient too. We absolutely loved our stay!"
