"Stayed here in end Aug where there wasn’t much snow cap on the mountains and a lot of clouds blocking the mountain peaks, but I’d say that the room view is still really nice because there’s sun, lake, mountain, clouds all in one! What we appreciated from this hotel: 1. The views: on day 1, we had afternoon tea (complimentary with our booking) and just enjoyed the view. We also tried to catch sunrise from our bed, and also enjoyed the view over complimentary breakfast at Level 1. 2. The service: this is the most supportive service we’ve ever had among all the hotels in China and other countries we have been to. - transport: They helped us to schedule complimentary pickup transfers from Lijiang train station to the hotel on our first day and from hotel to Lijiang Sanyi airport on our last day. - Taobao: They also helped me a lot with my many Taobao orders, across communicating with the delivery people, collecting (1x a day) from the collection point, returning some items as they weren’t fitting, applying for refund as my parcels still didn’t arrive on the last day etc. - other advice: getting used to higher altitude in Lijiang, how to use the washing machine & dryer, recovering from diarrhoea, whether we can still visit Lijiang Ancient City at night - other hotel items: gave us makeup remover and cotton pads when we had our photoshoot etc. - food: packed breakfast for us when we had day tours that started from 6am and asked us to pick our breakfast if we’re eating at hotel a day before. - housekeeping: they’d ask us if we’d like housekeeping when we waited for our didi to come. For the 6am day tours when reception wasn’t open yet, we texted them for help to tidy the room and we came back to a tidied room when we returned. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Super comprehensive service, we highly appreciated this. 3. Toilet: this toilet has a bidet! We were pleasantly surprised by this. While the area around the hotel is generally still developing, to which one of our Didi drivers said there was growing interest in real estate around the area, among the 3 hotels we stayed in Yunnan so far across Kunming, Dali and Lijiang, this is the best one we have had 😊"

"This is it! After countless disappointing Airbnb experiences, this Lijiang homestay completely changed my mind. It felt just like home, with a spacious bedroom, a washing machine, a Dyson hairdryer, a cozy sofa perfect for watching movies on the projector, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering a breathtaking view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain the moment you wake up… The breakfast was plentiful and well-balanced. In the evening, the short walk to Lijiang Old Town was truly delightful. ^_^ Found two little cuties ~ see pic ~"

The viewing platform on the 6th floor offers fantastic scenery; I was amazed as soon as I stepped out of the elevator. Oh, and the chair in picture 5 looks incredibly comfortable!"

"The location is ideal, right next to the old town, making it easy to explore without having to drag luggage over cobblestone streets. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, taking great care of us and providing a lot of useful information. The breakfast they offered was also excellent value for money. A friend and I stayed here for three nights. It was great! The place was really easy to find. The location is great, easy access to the old town without having to drag luggage through it. Stone roads are charming but hell on luggage wheels. The staff was friendly and kind, gave us a lot of help. It was so relaxing here that it was really hard to leave."

"The hotel has a great ambiance, and the service was excellent and very thoughtful. I didn't have to touch my luggage at all; the hotel staff handled everything. The only minor drawback is that the hotel facilities are a bit dated. For a hotel of this caliber, especially with so many international guests, having Dyson hairdryers should be standard, not just 'Laifen'. It was a bit humid, and there was some mold near the sink. However, other aspects of the sanitation were indeed very good. The facilities are probably due for an upgrade. A big plus is that the hotel staff always took off their shoes when entering the room."

I stayed for two nights in the ancient city, and the hotel provided free airport transfers and was always ready to help with exploring the city's sights and food. After a day of sightseeing, returning to the hotel meant the young owners would brew tea in the courtyard for everyone, which was truly relaxing."
