The most delightful surprise of my Lijiang trip was the Tangting Hidden Paradise Hotel! Nestled in Yuhu Village, it was exceptionally quiet. The entire room was smart, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered views of the snow-capped mountains from the bed. The private hot spring bath created a truly ambiance. The butler was incredibly attentive, offering hot Pu'er tea upon arrival and responding to messages with lightning speed. The second-floor study area was incredibly soothing for brewing tea and reading, and the meals were authentically delicious. Without the hustle and bustle of the old town, I could peacefully unwind for two days, healing all my fatigue. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lijiang!

Guest UserStaying at this luxurious wilderness hotel at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was the most unexpectedly wonderful and healing experience of our Lijiang trip.
As soon as we opened the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in our room, the entire Jade Dragon Snow Mountain came into full view. The clouds drifted across the peaks, a sight both gentle and majestic. The hotel boasts a sprawling lawn, with winding wooden boardwalks leading towards the distant mountains. Lambs roamed freely, and every photo we took of the mountain scenery looked like it belonged in a magazine – truly an ideal wilderness retreat.
Even more impressive than the breathtaking scenery was the incredibly thoughtful service that made us feel right at home. I accidentally spilled milk tea and stained the front desk, but the staff cleaned it up meticulously without a word of complaint. When we returned in heavy rain, a dedicated staff member walked us all the way to our car under an umbrella and back to the hotel. When my child suffered from altitude sickness, oxygen tanks were delivered multiple times throughout the night, available instantly whenever we called. I even left my facial cleanser behind in a rush when checking out, and the hotel proactively shipped it to our next hotel free of charge.
With the romantic setting of the snowy mountain and the vast lawn, combined with such delicate and warm hospitality, there was no sense of unfamiliar distance. It truly felt like having a gentle home at the foot of the snow-capped mountain.

Guest UserThe location is fantastic, right in the heart of Baisha Ancient Town. Step out and you're immediately immersed in the village's vibrant atmosphere. The main street is just a few minutes' walk away, offering a perfect blend of lively and tranquil. The room has a new Chinese-Naxi style, it's clean and bright, and the bedding is wonderfully soft. The bathroom is dry-wet separated and free of any odors. The amenities are extensive, including a private hot spring pool, a tea room, a book bar, and a terrace. You can even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from the courtyard. The host is incredibly warm and helpful, assisting with luggage upstairs, planning sightseeing routes, and even providing a 'avoid the traps' guide for the ancient town. Our whole family was very satisfied!

Guest UserWe chose a hotel with a hot spring for our last day of the trip to relax, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. Although the hotel's location is a bit remote, it's perfect for self-driving tours. Plus, they offer a value-added service of a 10km car pick-up and drop-off within Lijiang city. We returned our car in the ancient town, and the driver picked us up to go back to the hotel – a seamless transfer! The private hot spring tub in the room was excellent, fully smart-controlled, and all the in-room amenities were also smart. When we called the front desk, they responded quickly, and the shuttle arrived very fast. Xiao Ying and Xiao Gu provided great service. As for the dining, afternoon tea can be delivered to the room, beautifully presented, and the mini-bar was well-stocked with not just soft drinks but also many snacks. The most noteworthy was the hotel's dinner hot pot; the yak beef felt even better than in specialized yak beef hot pot restaurants.

Guest UserFeeling down? I came to Lijiang to relax and stayed at a guesthouse recommended by a friend. The environment was absolutely beautiful. Seeing the courtyard full of flowers and fruit trees instantly soothed my tired heart. The bedding was comfortable and the place was clean. The casserole rice noodles cooked by the hostess, Aunt Liu, were absolutely delicious! The host even took us to pick yellow raspberries and cherries. After a long day, soaking in the hot springs in the evening was so relaxing and a wonderful experience. I definitely want to go with my friends next time! Highly recommended! 👍🏻 I don't usually write reviews, but this time I felt compelled to write one. Thank you to this place for bringing me a touch of warmth.

The courtyard has a great ambiance, an excellent location, and wonderful service – definitely a big thumbs up!
**Facilities:** It's a two-story loft with complete amenities. The environment is beautiful, and the private hot tub is a major bonus, perfect for unwinding and enjoying your trip. There's a TV that can cast content, a smart toilet, and a humidifier, among other things. The toiletries are Le Labo, and they even offer two different scents to choose from.
**Hygiene:** When I arrived, they were just finishing up cleaning after the previous guest. The cleaning was meticulous and disinfection was thorough.
**Environment:** The courtyard's interior is exquisitely decorated and full of Zen, making it easy to relax. You can walk to the main street of Baisha Ancient Town. The town isn't very big, but there's plenty to explore, allowing you to quietly enjoy a 'chill' lifestyle.
**Service:** From the moment I checked in, I was offered tea. The breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, and there's a partnered small bar where you can enjoy a cocktail. They also help with luggage pick-up and drop-off when you arrive and leave. The private hot tub essentials are all provided, and the service is friendly and attentive. It's really excellent, and I highly recommend it if you're visiting Baisha Ancient Town!

Honestly, I rarely post reviews—but this time I really felt like I had to, because this hotel was the highlight of my family trip to Yunnan.
From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking.
The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations.
The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away.
What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.
