Even before we arrived, he was already assisting us and continued to go above and beyond until the moment we left. The hotel itself is spotless and very well-maintained. Our room was on the fourth floor, accessible by stairs, and it was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Mo Chen even carried our luggage up without hesitation. Anytime we had questions or needed assistance, he didn’t just reply to our messages—he would come up personally to help. His warmth and dedication were truly remarkable. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient. We are from Singapore and were pleased to find that halal food options were available nearby, making it easy for us to enjoy our meals. The hotel is also close to all the main attractions in Lijiang, making it easy to explore the area on foot. After a long walk, we returned to the hotel, and my wife, who wasn’t feeling well, was coughing. Mo Chen noticed and offered to make us Pu’er tea, which was unlimited and such a thoughtful gesture. While the walk down to the busier parts of the 古城 is easy and filled with charming shops and eateries, the climb back up can be a bit of a workout. However, the picturesque views and opportunities to rest and visit the stores along the way more than make up for it. Our room was clean and well-furnished, blending modern comfort with traditional Chinese aesthetics. The room included all the necessary amenities- also don't worry, there is a bidet with all sorts of cool functions. My family and I left with full hearts (and stomachs!) and immense gratitude for the care we received.
