I had a great stay at this beautiful traditional inn in Lijiang. The design is stunning and full of local character, and the view of the old town is just amazing—especially in the morning or at sunset. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They even arranged a car to pick me up and drop me off at the Lijiang Railway Station, which made things really easy. Overall, it’s a peaceful, stylish place with great service—highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay here, room was clean and spacious, bed is very comfy. The location is very close to lion view point just 2mins walk and close to the market square . The owner was super kind, he helped me out with my transportation to yulong snow mountain ( the hotel can also book a tour for you) Making my first trip to lijiang so memorable! Hope to be back again:)

This is a wonderful gem in Lijiang Old Town located near the Lion Hill. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable rooms and shared spaces with a good balance of traditional and modern designs. We upgraded to a room with a spectacular view of the old town and mountains. Room and toilet were clean, spacious and the floor heating was excellent. Most importantly, the manager was very friendly and helpful! He made us hot tea in the common tea room every night and patiently assisted us in our numerous queries regarding attractions and tours. We left an important valuable in the room when we checked out and he very kindly assisted in arranging the delivery of the item to us. I would recommend staying here!

Located in a quite street but convenient to walk to any places. The Host Fu is super helpful, service is excellent. Especially like the interior art and decor, and the efforts that the owner put in maintaining the place. Feel like you are staying in a museum or art gallery rather than hotel.

This hotel is very beautiful. We are a group of 4 friends and we're very enjoy our family room . The location is very good to explore the Lijiang Old town. We will definitely come back here again.

One of the better location at the ancient town. Taxi all the way up. Then walk less then 50m to the place. For ppl who don't want to carry your luggage all the way in the ancient town. Friendly and good service. Contact me before reaching the place. Often asking us to drink tea at the place. Give us a free transport when check out.

The building was a lot bigger than I thought. The deco inside the hotel was very tastefully done throughout. It’s on top of the ancient Lijiang Old Town, so you had a great view of the town on the 2nd floor. It also had a washing machine free to use but without a tumbler dryer. Anyway, my laundry was dry within 2 days hanging in my room. We didn’t have breakfast there everyday, but when we checked they told us that they were free ! What a pleasant surprise.

Nice accommodation with big room. Location is convenient and close to many shops. Wangulou is a short walk away. Owner and staff are friendly and helpful, and helped us with our luggages and gave us recommendation of places to visit. Interior is also very nice and good for photo taking. Thanks for the hospitality!

Great hotel, nice rooms, nice breakfast, great location.

Super clean and chill hotel, the rooms are spacious and cost. The hotel is situated on a quiet street but at the same time close to busy streets. I think the location is just perfect! They have a wonderful tearoom for sunrise watching!

No tea/coffee facilities, bed is not made up properly. They did change new towels every day and replace new tooth brush. Breakfast is simple porridge or noodles. Location is right on top of the hill so there’s good and bad about it. Going down to the market square is easy but getting back is an uphill journey. Beautiful hotel.

We were staying in Xiyun Academy Inn for 4 nights. The staffs were very kind and helpful. The room is very good with very nice decoration. Hotel location is quite convenient. There is a good view from the tea room to the old city of Lijang. I would recommend this place to everyone.
