Hotels in Clear Water Bay, Lingshui

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite making a full payment through Trip.com at the time of reservation for 3 rooms, the hotel staff demanded another full payment upon our arrival. Even after checking out of the hotel on November 21st 2024, I have yet to receive a full refund from Trip.com, as the hotel staff had assured us. This lack of professionalism and transparency caused unnecessary stress during our stay. Furthermore, the security guard refused to let us alight at the main driveway in front of the hotel lobby to drop off our luggage, claiming that it would ”block the hotel’s feng shui” as per their boss’s instructions. However, we observed many other cars and guests doing so. This left us scrambling to find an alternative while managing our heavy bags to check into the hotel. Such behaviour is not only inconsiderate but also unacceptable in a service-oriented industry. We will avoid staying at this hotel in the future.

We recently stayed at Hilton Doubletree Lingshui, and our experience was nothing short of wonderful! The property is beautiful, with stunning views and luxurious amenities. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. A special shoutout to Jerry, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. His warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel incredibly welcome. Whether it was assisting with our requests or offering helpful suggestions, Jerry’s service was truly exceptional. He made our stay memorable, and we are so grateful for his outstanding assistance! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway with top-notch service. We will definitely be returning!

Very nice hotel , helpful staffs , lovely breakfast with Europe and Chinese cuisine from 07:00 AM till 10:30 AM . Beach in 1 min walk and many different pools for different ages. Best for family stay , everything was clean and nice . Recommend you guys !!!

Super good!!! I didn't expect to be able to stay in such a good hotel at this price. I booked this hotel casually. After a day of running around and bad weather, I was a little disappointed with this trip. As a result, I felt alive again after arriving at the hotel! ! As soon as I opened the door, I saw the super super beautiful coastline! ! ! The facilities in the room are very new and full of details, including a refrigerator, washing machine, bathtub, and projector! In addition, the price is super affordable during the off-season, and it is only a few steps away from the beach, which is super convenient! This price is really cost-effective! Clean and comfortable, highly recommended to everyone!

The location of the room is great, just across the street from the beach, the balcony view is amazing, the room is clean and big enough, the facilities are relatively new, but there are not enough sockets at the bedside. I don't know if it's the peak season or something, no one introduced the free coffee discount coupons, travel photography, etc., and you have to ask to use them. There is nothing wrong with the hygiene, but the quilt is just spread out for you every day, and it is even completely flat in one day out of 3 days. The other corners are either crooked or not straightened, and the flaws do not outweigh the merits. The most speechless thing is that the room interface we booked shows that the maximum number of people is 5, two bedrooms and one living room, two 1.8 beds, and there are 3 of us staying. There is only one quilt on both beds. We want to cover one for each person and ask for an extra thin quilt. The housekeeper replied that it would cost 30 yuan... and the answer was rigorous, the quilt is charged, and the quilt cover is free? ? ? What do I ask? A room that can accommodate up to 5 people is equipped with two quilts, and only one quilt is required. Is this an unreasonable request? I have stayed in the hotel for quite a while, but I have never heard of charging for an extra blanket. Maybe I am not well-informed. But we really needed it, and although we thought it was unreasonable, we still paid for it. I would like to remind everyone that if you have this need, the hotel will charge for it.

The room is quite big, but the partition design is a bit unreasonable. It may be better to adjust it yourself if you stay for a long time. The balcony is large, but the bathtub takes up half of the area. It would be nice to convert the bathtub into an outdoor sofa. It is really pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy the scenery in this weather. Although I knew I had booked a room with a lighthouse view, I was still a little shocked when I walked in. The view alone was worth it! Service: The girl at the front desk who picked us up that day was very nice. We drove in by ourselves at first but couldn't find a parking space, so we drove around in a circle and came out again. We called her and she immediately came to the door to pick us up and took us to find a parking space on the other side. Fortunately, we found it successfully, and she also helped us carry our luggage to the room. Very good!

Banxia Hotel! The name itself speaks volumes about summer! They chose a high floor for me! The room was spotless and clean! The lighting was great! The living room was spacious and had a large refrigerator! The large balcony had an incredible 180-degree ocean view! You can also see the ocean from your room! Sitting on the balcony at night, listening to the waves and feeling the sea breeze was incredibly relaxing! We stayed for four nights! Both adults and children didn't want to leave! I hope to stay here again next year! The hotel is very close to the beach! Just a few dozen meters downstairs is the beach 🏖️, so convenient! Overall, I was very satisfied!

We are a family from uk travelling through China with our two sons 10 and 8 years old. The big plus of this hotel is the private and peaceful beach. This hotel has large enough grounds and spaces to feel not crowded and peaceful. Our lady butler spoke english and was super helpful. Food was good quality and nice choice, although we struggled a bit to find a variety of vegetarian dishes for our vegetarian son, having said that this was a bit of an issue everywhere we went. The hotel is situated away from the major tourist agglomeration which is very nice. The only thing we found strange was the music constantly played at the beach buffet. We would have preferred to listen to the waves and the crickets than the man made noise… I guess this maybe a bit of a cultural difference . On that note … the last orders at the bar are at 9:30pm. All in all we all had a great stay and would recommend the hotel without hesitation.

During the trip to Lingshui, Hainan, I saw this homestay. When I first arrived at the homestay, the environment was a very peaceful fishing village, far away from the noise pollution of the city. What caught my eye was the beautiful scenery of the Chiling Sea. I heard from the local villagers that the sea in front of me was called the Orange Sea. The scenery was really beautiful. Whether it was the tranquility of the sea in the early morning or the sunset in the afternoon, it made me feel that this trip to Lingshui was worth it. The hotel service was also very good. As soon as I got off the taxi, a hotel brother would greet me and help me with my luggage. When I entered the lobby, the front desk lady was also very enthusiastic, giving me a very close and comfortable feeling. She would also patiently help me with my luggage and take me to the room. The service was really good, the room was also cleaned very cleanly and tidy, and the room layout was also very wide and comfortable. The photo-taking check-in points on the 5th and 7th floors were also amazing, especially when the sunset fell in the afternoon. This was a perfect end to my trip to Lingshui.

This is the second time I stayed there. The first time was definitely more pleasurable in the two bedroom unit compared to the one bedroom unit. At some point some workers entered the room then ran away scared when they saw I was there. The office said they were surprised to see and guest and wanted to check to see if they needed to bring welcome fruit but no fruit was ever brought to the room. Also, last time they told me swim caps are needed for the pool but this time no on wore a swim cap. What are the actual rules? There was also a man on the beach who told me that people would come and shoot me because I’m American. I found this funny (and had nothing to do with the hotel) but it wasn’t comfortable being a female traveling alone
