Booked 4 x rooms (8 guests) for 2 nights.. location was perfect, parked the cars up and left them there (FOC) then used the train station literally 5 mins away (Roby) to travel in & out of the city (15 mins) & trains frequent.. The Premier Inn does exactly what it says on the tin.. if you want the Ritz then you have to pay for it.. food & drink in Derby lodge was great, breakfast team were amazing both mornings.. Claire on reception was great.. will deffo return Thank You..

We stayed for 2 nights,16/17 March. After the first night the cleaners took personal items, including medications, from our room. I did get my meds back from reception, at 9:30 pm, but not the wine. Surely they should have been aware that we were booked for 2 nights and not taken anything from the room. Don't leave anything personal or valuable in your room!!

I had a contract in Liverpool for 4 months and a colleague recommended the Derby Lodge hotel. The contract was extended many times and i stayed at the hotel for 13 months in total. I thought it was just another one of the same same hotel. I travelled up late Sunday and left Friday morning. I was presently surprised as they had the usual rooms but also rooms in the lodge. I stayed in every lodge room with each being a different shape and size. The hotel staff where always very helpful with the receptionists in particular making my stay as pleasant as possible. Nothing was to much. The only negative was that the staff seemed really busy for there whole shift which is solely a reflection on the hotel management. Don't loose key staff because of a lack of personnel.

Chose this premier inn for its free parking. A short walk to the train station that will take you straight into the city centre . We had unsettled sleep due to noisy heavy footed people above us ,reported to reception they told us they were checking out ,they didn't we had 1 week of hardly any sleep. Although we didn't use the restaurant it was always busy .
