We were met at reception by a charming receptionist, who upgraded us to The Bishop’s Suite. The suite consisted of a huge bedroom with the biggest double bed I’ve ever seen. A secret door led into a big walk in wardrobe. We also had a big bathroom with double sinks, and a separate wc. The bedroom had 3 floor to ceiling height windows with a first floor view of the grounds, and the town church in the distance. In the evening we had drinks on the terrace, followed by dinner in the hotel restaurant. My vegetarian meal was delicious and beautifully presented, whilst my husband enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak. Breakfast was buffet style with a big range of choice. The spa looked fantastic but our travelling schedule meant we had to get back on the road. We will definitely be back though and will try the spa then. The car park is also an essential part of our hotel checklist, and the parking here was perfect; right by the hotel, private, secure and plenty of spaces and some shade provided by the avenue of trees.

Passing for one night for a journey for work Hotel really falling point to sleep 1 night no more rooms are modern certainly, but wet, cold and noisy I took this hotel at the last minute so really at point of The staff remains very welcome. Breakfast is medium and a little cheap. The litter and good without anymore The bathroom is very small. I recommend this hotel to really have a cheap fall point. How do we get invoices? At the reception of the hotel, I was told that they could not do this for me, so I had to go to the spot to ask for it. However, there is no requirement for an invoice on this website. Please solve this problematic aspect.

Very friendly host, stayed here as we were working in the area, room was clean and warm. Restaurant wasn't open when we stayed but the hotel owner gave us a map of the town and explained where was open for food. Large car park at rear of property too which is really handy.Would not hesitate to book here again.
